Oooh! The pate was delicious! My husband I shared a green salad. He had a bowl of the onion soup - which was a little thin and light on onions - and I had the pate with accompaniments. Generous portion with very tasty capers, cornichons and greens. Perfect winter lunch!

We just love this restaurant! I always want everything on the menu! It has never disappointed. We now have an annual tradition where we have lunch at Place Pigalle on New Year’s Eve day to celebrate our anniversary. This year was our 35th anniversary. Usually, our kids are with us, but this year they were elsewhere, but they surprised us by contacting the restaurant ahead of time and made arrangements to pay for our meal. It was a truly lovely surprise and we felt so proud of them, and our meals were awesome. It was the perfect way to end 2017 and ring in the new year!
Place Pigalle is a nice place at the market. The food is good, pretty genuine French/PNW, with quality local-sourced ingredients. We had escargot, a salad and rabbit, all was very good. The service was excellent, which made for a nice time. Cocktails were good. It was pretty expensive, though, even for Seattle, so that reduces the overall score. Try to go when you can get a table by the window, which makes for a better experience, because the view is spectacular.

We have been visiting Place Pigalle every time we are in Seattle. In the past severa years this was an excellent place. However, this last time it really disappointed us. Although it was December 24, they were open - and we expected the same excellent service and food as before. But this time the service was so-so (the server did not even know how to decant red wine) and the rabbit (we always liked it in the past) partially was undercooked. Maybe because of the day they did not have their usual staff (server and cook), but then why stay open if cannot prvovide good service and food?
Probably we still will give them another chance next time we are there...
