Place Pigalle specializes in seasonal menus combining local ingredients with a variety of culinary traditions.
Couple such critical acclaim with a wonderful Elliott Bay and Olympic Mountain view, an award-winning wine list and a bar that specializes in the unusual and you have the reasons for this Pike Place Market restaurant's success.
Food was served cold.
We frequent Place Pigalle regularly.
Always a treat with very fresh ingredients, superb, friendly wait staff and an unhurried dining experience.
The pot de cream with coffee for dessert is to die for....
Incredible. Food was delicious. Service by Julian fantadtic
Very noisy at dinner. Stay away from the pasta, way too salty! Salmon was terrific!
Wonderful spot at Pike's Street Market. Food is delicious, cozy...with great flavors. You can't go wrong with your choices for appetizers or entrees.
Lovely old establishment extending out from the Market. We've enjoyed this restaurant for years.
Delicious food, beautiful view, and a quiet lunch. Perfect.
Celebrating birthday! Outstanding cocktail La Salle + Duck breast perfectly prepared. Bouillabaisse and raw oysters. Simply delicious.
Beautiful place right in pikes market
We absolutely love Place Pigalle, it was only our second time there and we'll back! We had a very leisurely and delicious lunch with friends. They staff was super attentive without being bothersome and we didn't feel hurried at all. Great location and view as well!
Everything was excellent and honestly the best rabbit I’ve had! Noise in restaurant was perfect as it wasn’t too quiet nor too loud. Very romantic dinner with my fiancé on her birthday!
This was my first time dining at place Pigalle after finding the recommendation on open table. I had just arrived from NYC to meet my boyfriend for lunch and wanted a romantic environment. Much rain and grayness didn’t stop a sweet and delicious experience. Marvelous staff too.
Place Pigalle is one of my favorite French restaurants. We went there for an early New Year's Eve dinner with family. The food was as good as usual, the service was great, the ambience was cozy, and the view of lights of Seattle Eye and ferries with the Puget sound in the dark as the background was still wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the dinner and the evening immensely.
Celebrating promotions and the end of a decade. Service was truly exceptional. Our server GUY should be nominated for best server of the year.
Long lunch with our two adult sons a few days after Christmas was lovely. We dine out regularly and our sons commented this was the best meal overall they've had recently. We had 2 dozen oysters and snails, fabulous. French onion soup sublime. I had salmon delish. Nice cocktails and wine. Great table far left side of room with an unobstructed view. Everything was well timed. Can't wait to return.
Great service. Unique flavors. Spontaneous gathering and they were awesome with flexibility!
Mussels only ordinary. Excellent boullebaise. Good greens/kale starter. Dungeness crab ordinary.
Had a scrumptious dinner date with my beau, while taking in views of the Seattle waterfront and Ferris wheel. The foie gras, French onion soup, and bitter greens and bean salad were fantastic!
Met girlfriends for a bit of Christmas cheer and lunch. We so enjoyed the warm hospitality of the staff, the beautiful view of the ferries and Puget Sound, and the quintessential Seattle vibe of being in the Pike Place Market. Everyone enjoyed their food, generous salads, calamari, and bouillabaisse. Such a gem of a restaurant!
I can always depend on a perfect dining experience at Place Pigalle. Our server was so helpful. She suggested a warm salad with dark greens and white beans that was a nice new experience. I was there yesterday for lunch with a friend.
My favorite place for lunch before Christmas shopping! Beautiful cocktails, delicious food and knowledgeable servers.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday lunch! My work team thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! And we vote in favor of the holiday music you had playing!!
I was excited to go. And greatly let down. I felt lyed to when I asked where the salmon was from? The server responded sous bay, Vancouver bc. When I tasted it I immediately knew it was farmed. I asked again and she responded Atlantic Salmon from Vancouver B.C.. Then she said they farm Atlantic Salmon in Vancouver. It may be true but if I knew what it was from the beginning I would have not ordered it. Miss leading.
This is a great place. The atmosphere with windows surrounding the dining area was excellent with views of Seattle sound. Wines food service ambience were outstanding. The three of us started with oysters and french white wine. Then salads. Then lamb and fish dishes which we shared with French red wine. Deserts and expressos were fabulous. We all loved the place. Outstanding.
Lovely lunch with mussels that I will be thinking about until I am able to come back again! Thank you for the wonderful time
This one of the best meals that we have had in Seattle. We had a nice table by the window looking toward the water. The calamari in a mustard sauce was superb and worth returning for. The beet salad was excellent. Both the rabbit and salmon entrees were wonderful. The Apricot almond torte was an excellent end to the meal.
We will be back again.
Place Pigalle is a quiet escape from noisy Pike Place Market. The service was outstanding and food was incredible. I highly recommend the bouillabaisse!
Love the place the food the staff
A most delightful dining experience - service was wonderful, meal was wonderful and the setting/ambiance was out of this world. I highly recommend Place Pigalle!!!
Our server had difficulty answering any questions we asked about the menu.
The beet salad was wonderful. Duck confit extremely greasy. Bouillabaisse flavorless, tepid and overcooked. Small pours of wine and ridiculous to pay for two slices of bread.
It certainly isn’t the restaurant it used to be.
Place Pigale has the the entire package. If you can get there while the sun is up you’ve got a beautiful view of the sound. The people in the restaurant understand food and they understand that Dining is an experience. Food is absolutely spectacular and the attention given by the staff is super high-level without being pretentious or weird. Just really nice people that love what they do.
Been going there for years and it is always a wonderful experience.
A wonderful experience from a slightly distant time. So rare now in Seattle to get food of this quality without a hyped or precious atmosphere. Service was on-point, warm not cloying at all. Desert was so so good. Locals that will come back, delighted with this find.
Wonderful meal! If you are looking for a very nice meal overlooking the ocean, this is where you have to go.
Everything was on point. Great staff, service and some cool history!!!! If the walls could talk!
Place Pigalle is genuinely authentic Fench cuisine with a fabulous view overlooking Elliot Bay in Seattle, Washington.
This is one of my favorite places downtown. Small place with views and great food.
Delightful greeting , generous team , thoughtful, seasonal and regional food was extremely delicious ... a smash hit !
In general the food here is innovative typic french bistro style menu. Unusual selections like Duck confit and rabbit not the best rendition. No one can fault the view, if you get a window its amazing.
Wonderful food and great ambiance. Amazing bartender lady.
