PJ's Bar and Grill. Located in Truckee, CA, in the Gray's Crossing development, PJ's is the premier casual patio dining location in Truckee. Perfect for families to gather and friends to meet and enjoy craft cocktails, beers and select wines by the glass as well as all your favorite menu items. For golfers enjoying the challenge of eighteen holes, we have an excellent Turn menu that is fast and delicious.

This summer we have brought back our guest's's favorite items, our Famous Tri-Tip Dip, Summer Peach Salad, Fish Tacos, Ahi Poke, King Salmon Caesar Salad, Taco Salad, Vegan Singapore Street Noodle Bowl, Tomato Bruschetta and one of our new summer specials, Watermelon and shrimp skewers not to mention the best burger (salmon or organic beef) in Truckee.... All of this and a spectacular location with mountain views and the most inviting patio in the area.

PJ's was nice. The food was fine but not anything special. The blues soundtrack was very good and not overwhelming. The Sierra mountains and golf course view was great. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I guess our mistake was to sit outside, where the weather was fantastic but we had to share our food with pesky yellow jackets! Too bad... I would like to return and be able to enjoy the outside seating.

I had not eaten there in about a year. They really kicked it up a notch. It's not just a bar to get drinks and snacks. It is a real restaurant with great food. In door or out door seating, with a view of the golf course. Our waiter, Cale, was exceptionally good. What a great place to go after you finish your golf game.

Early sitting had a high population of bees - some in our group were uncomfortable. Later once sun was down and wind down the bees moved on. Food and Service was great. Recommend for quietness and view!

Although cooked well, $40 for a small skirt steak, 3/4 of one small turnip "root vegetableS", and a teaspoon smear of what was supposed to be potato puree. And a martini up, which must have been half olive juice..ya, not coming back anytime soon. Oh, happy hour, starts at 7pm?
