Nice food and extra friendly service.
Food was good. Ambiance was the highlight. Service was also decent
Went to celebrate bro birthday. Very loud and crowded. Nice waiter. Food was pricey.
I love the location of this restaurant and the food/drinks are very good. However, we had a 5:00 reservation and was told the kitchen closed at 6:00 after we only ordered a round of appetizers. I wish that was noted before we made the reservation. Other than that...it was a lovely evening.
Really friendly people working there, but the food wasn't good at all.
Birthday. Service was not consistent. Food was ok. The Spanish frittata was not even warm and it was a 90 degree day. The Bloody Mary was so spicy 2 of the 3 people who ordered the drink either returned it or just barely drank it. Kudos foe the stringy onions. Vanilla brownie Sunday was fine but the desert selection was anemic. Fortunately the location is wonderful.
12:00 pm reservation —sat at 12:10 even though table was ready, the servers were not out yet. Kept being told “waiting on service.” Finally say and ordered coffee and server never came back for food order. Had to go to the host stand at 12:45 to confirm we still hadn’t ordered and no one checked on us. Finally ordered and placed an order for a Spritz cocktail....kept going back and forth with the waitress, I knew she was unsure of the order. She came back with two Sprite sodas. Explained again, finally got the Spritzes. When the bill came the Sprites were on the bill. Had to explain to her we didn’t offer the sprites and shouldn’t have to pay for them. Our lunch ended up being 2.5 hours, and while I appreciate not being rushed on a 90 degree day in nyc, it was a little rough sitting there with one thing going wrong after another. Big PJ Clarke’s fan, but this was a disappointing experience.
Excellent food and a great atmosphere! Only concern was the hostess who was going to give our table away because he were 8 minutes late to our reservation time due to waiting in line for checking in at the restaurant and gave us attitude when we
Great service with a beautiful view
Great place to be outdoors near the river. Staff is friendly and food is good.
The service was outstanding. The burgers are juicy and delicious.
My note to the restaurant about a birthday in our party was ignored and the only dessert on this cold, rainy day was ice cream. Very disappointed in that.
So great to be back at PJs. Had a great evening- service was awesome and food always yummy.
Wonderful atmosphere, great tasting food, service is always accommodating. One of my favorite places to go in the summer.
Every time I go to PJ Clarke’s on the Hudson I have a great experience. The waitstaff is very friendly and their location on the water is ideal for lunch outside and for people watching. Menu is a bit pricy but I have never not enjoyed my meal. Will continue to come back!
Very enjoyable lunch with beautiful views of the river, boats and Statue of Liberty in the background. Very friendly staff, good service.
Terrible chopped salad with a stale boiled (not grilled) chicken. I like PJ Clarke’s ambiance and food in general but this meal was really bad
Burger was amazing. View even better. Will be back.
It was excellent. Great place to have brunch facing the Hudson
Food is good, but atmosphere and location are great ! Perfect for summer brunch
This is PJs Clark’s best location if you want an amazing hamburger with one of the best views of the city. I planned to go at sunset which made my evening even better. The music was great and the service excellent !
We had informed the waiter about my brother’s allergies, but were served food that contained an ingredient he was allergic to. He is allergic to sesame seeds and they were baked into the croutons on his salad. Luckily my brother did not eat the croutons before discovering the sesame seeds. Even though they made us a new salad, the meal was pretty much ruined as a result as we were too worried about whether my brother was going to have an allergic reaction.
Laura , our waitress was absolutely delightful.
We really enjoyed our lunch and will be back.
the waiter tried to upsell us to the most expensive steak in the menu. Otherwise good.
Great to come back to an old favorite, but disappointed the menu has been changed so dramatically. Looking forward to when the Lobster Roll comes back on the menu.
Service was a little slow. Food was excellent
Food as always great ! My steak was perfect!kind of noisy inside but most likely was great time with my friends !
Ate outdoors and for some reason during the 1st hour someone group was moving stuff along the resaurants sidewalk on a long dolly, that had a din that was more than noisy.
Every thing was fine -- service -food - attention.
Will return when it is less breezy and hope the moving company using the sidewalk is finished their work.
The size of $14 Caesar was laughable. Seemed like there was a shortage of romaine. Overall good experience and outside ambience.
Food and drinks took a looooooong time to get to us. They may be a bit rusty but the view is always spectacular.
Fantastic view of the Hudson River, great outdoor seating ambiance and the food—delicious! What more to ask for during a pandemic!
Our reservation was for April 30 and outdoor dining. The weather was so cold and windy that we asked if we could be seated inside. We were informed (incorrectly) that the outdoor diners were now coming inside and the restaurant would close the outdoor section due to the weather. They couldn't promise an available table. However, after a few minutes we were seated, directly across from an outside door from which waiters continued to deliver meals and return with the dirty dishes, etc. So throughout our dinner we were subjected to cold winds and cold air. We kept our coats on. Things got even worse when the group of 6 or 8 seated to our left became very loud and raucous. They didn't speak to each other -- they shouted and screamed. Aside from the obvious rudeness, this was a public health hazard due to the pandemic. Screaming and shouting
can spread the disease, and I'm quite surprised that management didn't intervene and request these diners to lower their collective volume. To cap off a perfectly awful experience, my hamburger was overcooked. Never again!
Wonderful scene, so nice to sit outside overlooking water and boats. Our server Laura could not have been more attentive and sweet.
Great service, good menu, good selection of drinks, and wonderful outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and people watch. Ever changing scenery.
My rating is for outdoor only, which is a much better situation than indoors at PJ Clarke’s. The outdoor tables are well spaced and have a great view of the North Cove, Hudson River and New York harbor.
Great food and extra friendly service.
Great food and ambiance
Burger was excellent. Onion strings were excellent. Crab dip was divine. Waitress was lovely. First time dining I didn’t feel rushed. Great views. Yes yes yes
