P.J. Clarke's-Lincoln Square
This was my first time at any PJ Clarkes which is my loss. Great portions, great historical setting and terrific food. Sandeep was absolutely terrific!
Another great meal. They did a spectacular job for a small Thanksgiving meal.
Well spaced for social distancing, Service is amazing. Food was great.
The food was amazing. Oysters were sweet and fresh. I always get the Lobster Cobb .. the best in the city.
Very good food and staff who are knowledgeable , attentive and make you feel welcome - even if eating ther sol, as i was.
Friendly, super clean, amazing food. They take your temperature at the door and your address for contact tracing purposes.
Everything good except the host. We made a reservation four 4 people (for 4:30pm) and requested a window seat. When we arrived, all the four-seat window tables (~6-8 four-person tables) were full, so clearly they did not read our reservation request (which in and of itself is annoying, but not a huge deal). The worst part though was that when I asked the host if any of the window tables were going to be available soon, he said, "I don't think so, they're all in the middle of their meals." But he didn't even check - he just said that. I gave him the benefit of the doubt though and assumed he knew what he was talking about. He then seated us in the bar (with our 9 year old and 5 year old). I told him that I'd like to move if one of the window tables opens up before we order and he said (in an annoyed tone), "I'll see what I can do, but everyone has special requests and we can't accommodate everyone." 5 minutes later (before we had seen a waiter), two of the window tables opened up. The host begrudgingly moved us. And then another 5 minutes after that, ALL of the window tables were vacant (except the one we were sitting at). The guy was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful about the whole thing. When I first asked him if any tables would open up soon, he should have just walked by them and then given me his best guess of when one might open up. I then could have told him whether we were willing to wait. And to be clear, he was not busy. This was at 4:30 in the afternoon and the only people in the restaurant were the people at the tables by those windows. Otherwise the place was empty. He clearly didn't want to be there and wasn't interested in helping customers. Other than that, everything was great.
This restaurant was great. Service was outstanding and the food was very tasty. I would definitely eat here again.
It was, simply put, an awfully expensive brutal dinner with the food coming out at different times, not being cooked properly and taste on all dishes awful. The salmon was raw and very fishy. Another salmon was cooked to taste, but not edible as it had turned. The Mac and cheese had NO Cheese. The French fries were the only vegetable that could be digested. The ketchup was the highlight. The apple cobbler crust was tasteless mush and the apples were sour. The server was pleasant, but suddenly replaced the drunk bartender and we had a new server who was just as nice.
Excellent lunch with really great sandwiches. the ony comment is that P.J. Clarke would be outstanding if it had hand-cut fries on the menu and and not the apparently packaged kind.

The perfect Cosmo. Thanked the bartender personally.
My experience was excellent considering the situation we are all living with in these times
It was so nice to be out to dinner with friends. The staff made us feel welcome, but more importantly, safe. There was a temperature check before we were seated. The place looked immaculate. The servers and management were all wearing masks.
Always happy to come and support this great restaurant in a hard time!
Amazing, as always.
Great to be back, the outside cafe is adorable and the food great as usual.
Food was expensive and not tasty. I would never eat here again
It felt as if I was paying for the locals rent rather than the quality of the food and drinks. Certainly overpriced even when I expect to pay a premium because of the location and ambiance, I also expect the food and service to merit the up charge.
Great food. Exceptional host and staff. Shay is one of the best!
Always a great meal and the staff are all so nice!
Most importantly, they are doing a great job paying attention and implementing safety precautions.
Service and food were excellent. I would highly recommend a lunch or dinner there.
Outdoor setup is wonderful and service was great - a very pleasant evening. Gave 4 stars because my main entree wasn't great: the kale was bitter (overcooked?) and very greasy; and the seared skin on my salmon was weird, so fibrous as to be inedible. It seemed like they sprinkled wood chips on it. Strange. BUT. The chickpea fires were outstanding and my two companions enjoyed their entrees very much: burger and fries chicken. We'll surely be back for the chickpea fries!
It was better than expected.
Server pushed us alot to order.. so we were very uncomfortable . Food was atmosphere
Very sweet and friendly staff and the food is always very good.
My wife and I came here during the Covid Pandemic. Servers were always masked and gloved and the seating made us feel like we had the whole place to ourselves (we didn't). Everything we ordered came out promptly and was delicious. I especially recommend their Fried Calamari, The Cadillac Burger and the BBQ and Bleu burger. All delicious! Great job of adapting by a classic restaurant!
It was really enjoyable!
I would definitely recommend this place if you are ready to leave $100 for two. I have no complains about food there, everything was quite delicious.
The outdoor dining set up at PJ’s was great. As always the food and service were top notch.
Thought I would give it a try. I hadn’t gone there in about 4 years. Hated their policy of not seating diners before their party came, even when the restaurant wasn’t full. So as I walked there, my date texted to inform me she would be
20 minutes late. I figured it was a good test and if they didn’t seat me I would go to a nearby restaurant.
Anyway, the hostess was a pleasure, I was seated quickly and had a beer as I waited for my friend to arrive. She finally did. The server was great and the meal was excellent. Not to mention that the place was very safe And I wasn’t worried about people not wearing masks. The price was ok. It’s expensive. But it’s Lincoln Center. Overall I loved the experience and will be a regular customer once more.
Excellent food - their burgers are phenomenal and their home made jalapeño margaritas as amazing.
Yoki are server was fantastic!!! Great food and drinks! Classic NY!
The hamburger staple still works. Decent falafel burger. No sides. Tiniest bottles of Coke on the planet.
Best burgers in NYC. P.J.'s never disappoints. Staff was great too!
I'm never disappointed when I step inside PJ's. Always a good time!
We had the nicest loveliest waiter known to man ! Although there is no children’s section on the menu when we asked he said yes we have that and told us all the options. Burgers were great, so was chicken pot pie and tomato soup which came with delicious bread cheese for dunking. PJ’s is my favorite neighborhood spot for casual family dining ! And the staff could not be more accommodating ! I rate it a 10 all around !
Our server, Anna, was excellent. The food was good but overpriced for the quality and portion size. The noise level was definitely up there but ok for a casual gathering with friends. For a romantic date night i would definitely look elsewhere.
Perfect Lincoln Center pretheater. Burgers thick juicy and ideal for theater.
Good place for a burger and a beer before going to Lincoln Center
A convenient location for Lincoln Center shows. The food was good but it was hard to converse due to the noise level.
