From Umbria to the homes of Carefree, Pizzicata brings our family’s recipes and an enthusiasm rooted in sharing Italiano cuisine with Arizona and the world.
We are proud to be the first pinseria in Arizona.

What is Pinsa?
Long before the days of pizza, Pinsa was introduced and crafted by the Romans using wheat, soy and rice flours as the main ingredients in the dough. The resulting Pinsa contained less gluten, less carbs and less fat while maintaining a crispy yet light crust when baked therefore making it more digestible yet still delizioso.

    ‘Twas the 3rd night of May in the year 2025 and Pizzicata was a buzz with the sounds of smiling people, myself included, enjoying their drinks of choice along with great pasta’s and delicious warm pizzas with the help of such people as Noah, who can be such a joy to have help you. On this particular evening I was accompanied by my niece and her friend who both got to enjoy the delicacies of this establishment and excellent service as provided by none other than Sierah herself. Of course. Now don’t forget to try the lava cake with a scoop of vanilla bean for desert. Toodaloo!

    Noah was so kind, mindful, attentive & great Customer Service! Delicious luncheon… had Caprese Salad & yummy pizza.. Will definitely be back and they had Caymus our favorite wine! Thank you Noah & Randy for the warm welcoming customer service! April

    Sweet little Italian spot in Carefree, indoor tables and nice outdoor dining as well. Made our reservation online for indoor dining. Attentive and friendly servers and bartender. Two of us shared a Farmer’s salad and Boscaiola Pinsa, subbed Pepperoni in place of Italian sausage. Both the salad and Pinsa were excellent! Will definitely be back to try pasta or gnocchi and other Pinsa varieties!
