From Umbria to the homes of Carefree, Pizzicata brings our family’s recipes and an enthusiasm rooted in sharing Italiano cuisine with Arizona and the world.
We are proud to be the first pinseria in Arizona.

What is Pinsa?
Long before the days of pizza, Pinsa was introduced and crafted by the Romans using wheat, soy and rice flours as the main ingredients in the dough. The resulting Pinsa contained less gluten, less carbs and less fat while maintaining a crispy yet light crust when baked therefore making it more digestible yet still delizioso.

We are absolutely addicted to the Pizzacata Pizza at Pizzacata! We enjoyed their charming and quaint outdoor patio and great service as well. A neighborhood gem!

We sat at the bar and had a great experience with Tyler (the bartender). We ordered a pasta and short ribs. Authentic Italian food! Both were delicious!! Although we sat at the bar, the outside patio is very nice also.

Always outstanding in every aspect! Our waitress was extremely helpful with my our host’s medically restrictive diet..Husband is gluten intolerant yet, because they import their flour from Italy, he can enjoy their cuisine.. Pizza, Pasta, etc… Of course, this can’t be “advertised” as gluten free, but by default it is!!! I order my flour from Italy and make everything related to flour with this imported “gold” so I know it’s the real deal for “some” people with this issue. Thank you and Belissma!! C A Kuenzli

The food and service at Pizzicata are always very, very good, and sitting outside on their patio was especially nice before the hot weather arrives.

We enjoyed being outside but the seating arrangements are too close. Round tables might fit better in the space, except for tables of 6-8. We had chicken piccata. Delicious!

A perfect day to savor a Fig Pinsa outdoors in the shaded sunshine surrounded by cool breezes. The delightful Apple Burgundy Crumble Gelato & Chocolate Chip Gelato topped the afternoon before a big roadrunner stopped by for a personal visit making sure our day was complete! What made our visit the best ever … was Jaycee ~ our lovely server. Thank you
