Great service and delicious food.
Service was excellent. The servers are professionals and catered to our every need.
Absolutely delicious food, excellent wine pairing, and amazing service. Would definitely go back again!
Our server, Shelby, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and took the time to help us understand the offerings. A very interesting set of pizzas. The dried beef carpaccio was excellent as was the pizza with speck. The other pizza with arugula needed more flavor. The crust was excellent. The setting was a bit harsh and cold (not temperature).
Amazing service and food! Celebrated my birthday here and the staff was so kind and welcoming! The tiramisu is the very best. Can’t wait to come back!
Went last nite for pizza with 2 friends. Very limited menu. I go the margherita pizza, which was good, not great. Rest got the meatballs, which were very good, soup, which was very good, and the Diamante pizza, which was good, not great. Very limited choices of alcohol. We didn't have dessert. Doubt I will be back-prefer the pizza at Pizzacata or elsewhere.
What a great find! We followed our server's recommendations. The meatballs were amazing! The burrata tasty and ordered a variety of pizzas to share; margarita, diamanté and Milano- all very flavorful and unique with perfectly cooked crust. The wine was fabulous, ambiance great and quiet to catch up with dear friends. Incredible service and attention to detail. Highly recommend!
Great outdoor patio with heaters. Delicious pizza
Such awesome ambiance and amazing food and service.
Delicious cocktails and perfect Italian style pizza with interesting and authentic toppings. The large patio is great for outside dining in these trying times. We very much enjoyed our meal.
We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was our second time dining here. The food was good, wine well priced and delicious, and the ambience is warm and inviting. Service was too notch for the price level of dining.
Appetizer: Burrata. Came with roasted red peppers and a pesto, and a little bit of olive oil drizzle and shaved garlic, and toast. Not enough toast (came with 2 small slices) for the amount of cheese, we had to order extra. The roasted red pepper were basic, pre made out of a bag, which wasn’t very impressive. The “pesto” was thick and more like a pea purée in texture, and lacked flavor/salt, and was overall kind of strange. Not a bad dish but it needed something… salt and maybe more acid like a balsamic reduction. The fig version they had in the fall was better.
Pizza: Tartufo. Deliciously mushroomy and light truffle flavor. A little over cooked but not enough to be a problem. Crust had a a great flavor, and it was rolled pretty well if only slightly too thin at the center with slightly too much crust. Overall the pizza was very good.
Dessert: we didn’t order dessert this time, but last time we had the tiramisu and it was very good.
Overall, the food was a 7.5/10, a good experience and I will return.
The manager and staff were very rude. Too bad the food was great but will not be going back
Awesome as always!!
Our server was amazing & they helped make my husband’s birthday so special! Food was so fresh, cocktails were so creative & the entire night was beautiful. Thank you!!
Wonderful food, great evening ! Will return again to try the pizza.
Great date night spot- food was delicious
Very lovely place, small and cozy. The food is very good. We had various pizzas and appetizers - all amazing. Good wine list. Hazelnut ice cream is exceptional.
Food and service was awesome. It was our first time at Pizzeria Virtu and we’ll definitely be back. We had the meatballs, bursts and the diamante pizza. Everything was delicious!
Lovely place. Beautiful and delicious food. A favorite of our family!
Great food and service. Very accommodating for us and our pup!
Nice little pizzeria in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale.
Excelente comida y agradable ambiente
I usually go here to enjoy a bottle of wine with a pizza and salad, but decided to go with pasta this go around and totally lived up to my expectations. Pasta was cooked perfectly, flavorful and brought to the table hot; the bread was also very good! Well done Virtu…
Intimate side patio
Easy night out with professional staff and convivial service without being forced/overbearing.
This place is becoming our favorite restaurant for date night. The food is consistently terrific. It is always fresh and perfectly prepared. I am glad they don't have a simple bartender like some restaurants. That is an immediate turnoff and a guarantee we won't return. Pizzeria Virtu has an experienced mixologist. This guy is a craftsman. The service is always second to none. The restaurant's interior is perfectly unique and on-brand. The bathrooms are clean. Love the ambience.
We were disappointed this time. Had been before and loved the pizza. This time it was really off the mark. We ordered two different types. Both came with an extremely thin crust which made it impossible to even lift off the pan to put on plate. One had a crust that was wet and soggy. The toppings were tasty but the crust ruined the taste.
We’ll give it one more try. Maybe a Wednesday is not the best night. Last time was a Friday and everything was delicious.
Consistently great food and service. Brock was attentive and helped us curate a great meal. Always a great relaxed experience.
This place delivers.
We may digress on many things from a culinary perspective, but we had a wonderful meal with a lot of nuances. Shelby was just spectacular. And i don’t say that very easily. Congrats! Spot on.
The food was high quality and staff were well informed of the ingredients and drinks. Staff were very professional and attentive! Really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere.
Service really good
My son was visiting for the holidays and I knew he’d love the food here. We sat on the lovely patio and enjoyed the baby kale citrus salad, the tartufo pizza,, rigatoni with meat ragu and burrata, and chitarra spaghetti aglio olio. Every bite was delicious. The Budino for dessert was good but could use more of the crunchy topping for texture contrast. Service was very attentive and friendly.
Too cheesy. Toppings are meager. Pizza crust is too soft. Pomo is much better. Tiramisu is just crème. Avoid it. Having eaten tiramisu In Italy I can say that these guys have no idea what a tiramisu is. Bruschetta was good
We started up with a hiccup on service, but the restaurant more than made up for it without us even complaining to anyone! The food was great, and the patio makes dining in Scottsdale in November a delight.
Great service and food
Food was outstanding. Cocktails were great. Wine selection was perfect. Great outdoor space. And, our waiter was helpful, attentive and fun. Will definitely go back.
Chef has created more tasty Italian morsels but in a more casual and lower priced venue. Don’t get me wrong, you will overspend once you dive into the food and wine. The dishes are all very good and even when you are full you will want to try more. Lastly, the Service has been incredible both times…
Terrific great atmosphere
Food and team
Dinning alone , date or group.
The ambiance is great and it has its own touch. The pizza is good, but not a “must go to” spot. I am willing to drive for great food, service, and ambiance. However, this spot was only ok
I invited friends and family to celebrate my birthday.
It was amazing.
And wonderful team.
We so enjoyed everything.
Thanks for making my day special.
