We had a great time, the food was outstanding.
As always the meal and service is great. Julia is a wonderful server and made our dining experience wonderful.
You can’t go wrong with the fungi pizza. I added burrata which is a must try. I love the meatball appetizer and the tricolore salad is fantastic treat.
Absolutely delicious and worth the wait for our table!!!
One of my favorite restaurants in the Newport Beach area for sure! The menu is always delicious with lovely ambiance and great service.
Wonderful. Love this restaurant!
Large table on the patio, a beautiful evening with great food, wine, and service!
The food was great and the dessert was a transformative experience.
We love this place and always make it a point to come here when we visit the area. It never fails.
We always enjoy Pizzeria Mozza. The food is great and the staff is attentive, but not intrusive. A perfect casual restaurant in our neighborhood!
Consistently delicious. Server and I accidentally ordered a non-veg pizza but they remade it very quickly. Also makes great leftovers.
The food is excellent, their caprese Mozza is unreal good. I highly recommend that as it was by far my favorite dish of the night, simple yet elegant. The meatballs were good and so were the pizzas. Overall a great experience. I was also very impressed by their whiskey selection for an Italian restaurant.
Food was below par. Pizza was horrible. Overpriced. Will never go back!
Staff was friendly and wonderful as always. Food was equally fantastic!!
Loved the food but music too loud. Customers enjoy conversation while having dinner
My family and my father enjoyed the best crust (which means a lot to me) and fantastic flavors of cheese and excellent companions in the form of meats, herbs, and excellent wine. We had heard of this restaurant in a review and it lived up to the hype. Our waiter, Aldo, was fantastic; knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. Thank you to the Mozza family. We so enjoyed our visit.
Loved the fact that every service person reached out to our table, excellent service; food was great; and the portions are perfect, not overwhelming.
Limited parking and no valet on duty.
Kitchen closed at 2pm for lunch. We felt rushed to order our food, as our reservation was at 1:30pm.
Staff was very pleasant and did a good job.
Fun restaurant and always busy! They have great pizzas and salads. Everything is good here. We like to sit at the bar because it is noisy! This visit we had the tri colore salad and the goat cheese with bacon and leeks pizza.
A wonderfully active spot to enjoy terrific Italian fare with friends.
Great food from top to bottom on the menu.
You cannot go wrong here.
Seriously the best pizza and dessert ever! I’m
Son and granddaughter here from Hawaii
Loved the pizza and I’m not a pizza lover. One of the best ever outside of Italy. The pasta portion seemed small. The desserts were good as was the fried cauliflower. Great meal.
I like walking distance from the LA Pizzeria and the Newport one is just as fabulous. Heidi, the sommelier, was phenomenal in her helpfulness and service. The food was outstanding and just as great the LA location.
Food was excellent. Love the pastas. Great texture and sauces have delicious flavors. Octopus appetizer was amazing. Service was very slow. Waited 1 hour to get food. They forgot one appetizer and ended up bringing it after the entrees and comped it on the house.
Having been to and enjoying Mozza LA
I was sadly disappointed with the pizza at the Newport location. The pizza crust was flat (boaring) and chewy. My companion had Salame mozzarella tomato & chilies. (We ordered light cheese) It was shared by the table and while the tomato sauce had a hint of authentic tomato flavour the richness of the entire pizza fell short. I myself had Aglio e olio Prodcuotto di Parma, mozzarella & fontina. Which in reality had NO cheese on it and tasted like over powering garlic bread with prosciutto. Having been to the LA location not to mention travelling to Italy regularly this Pizzeria fell short. While service was good food was highly disappointing. The Newport location has no resemblance to its LA counterpart. I guess like films it's tough to make a sequel. I will not be back and would not recommend this restaurant. I have also been to the 2 other Silverton restaurants in LA and feel grateful and highly enjoyed all three. Perhaps Newport is just a little too far from "hone".
Best pizza and pasta in Orange County
It was very wonderful. Food was tasty and served fairly quickly given that we got there at 5 (way before the rush). Lived up to my expectations and loved every minute of it.
I had not been to Mozza for quite a while so when friends wanted to go out I suggested we go there. I was disappointed the minute I walked in, it didn't feel or look like the Mozza of old. It felt dark, low energy. I thought the tables were crowded together closer than usual. Nancy's chopped salad was as great as always but we were very disappointed by the pizza. It was cold, with a hard lump of cheese in the middle and the crust was soggy with very little sauce. The fennel sausage was so big it kept rolling off the pizza. So disappointing and I was embarrassed that I recommended going there for dinner. What happened to this great restaurant?
Overrated pizzeria! Very noisy restaurant. Untrained waiters. A positive note: good "crudo" ham with warm bread.
Heard about this place from a friend and it more than exceeded my expectations! The food was absolutely amazing and the wine selection is extensive. Very attentive staff and a very quaint and intimate dining setting that I would highly recommend!!
Portions are small, more like a tapas type of place. Food was tasty with a nice wine selection. Almost No parking only valet. Felt the food was over priced for the amount of food provided.
Best pizza ever
A bit pricy, but overall it is a great spot for a nice meal with great ambiance.
Fabulous food and service!
the very best pizza in the world The best menu of lovely food
The pizza at Pizzeria Mozza is out of this world. Perfect thick crust with the most flavorful red sauce. The fennel sausage is outstanding! Keep room for desert...the butterscotch is delicious!
Pretty restaurant. Enjoyed our fried cauliflower and generous portion of chopped salad. Yet, not sure why I would be surprised to pay $19 for a 4 oz serving of percorino pasta as the locale is on Pacific Coast Hwy in Newport Beach. Just thought it was very expensive for what i felt was good but not excellent culinary product
