Pizzeria Mozza Ratings and Reviews
the food was excellent as usual since we arrived before our rsvp we ended up sitting at the bar which was fine bc we could see them preparing the food which was entertaining. . However, we did not get our points for dining. What do we do to credit for our dinner?
Despite the fabulous food, we were almost over Mozza because the tables are so densely packed causing the stranger at the neighboring table to practically sit on your lap. But tonight, by the grace of something larger than I️ can conceive, we were seated in the tiny wine room, and it was heavenly: (relatively) quiet, room to lift your arm without poking your neighbor in the eye, and we were not hurried in and out in 32 minutes (or thereabouts).
The food was great, our server was charming, and we could hear each other speak. What more could you ask?
$120 for three dines: one beer, one wine, one Diet Coke, one appetizer, one salad, two pizzas, 21% gratuity.
We loved our evening at Pizzeria Mozza! We learned about the existence of the restaurant via a documentary from Netflix and the food is as delicious as we thought it would be. Quality is found in every detail of each course. We will recommend Nancy’s bread with olive oil and garlic drizzle for a long time! As well as the Pizza itself of course!!
While the food here was certainly good, it was not at the level one would expect of a "star" chef. The truly disappointing part was that I mistakenly added my charge slip incorrectly, which showed $10 more than it should have for the total - the difference being the "tip". While I clearly indicated the amount I wished to tip, the server elected to take the mistake in their favor - rather than add the tab correctly. As a generous tipper, this put the tip well over 20%
Great restaurant with excellent service. The pizza was good, with a large selection of choices and toppings. For me, I would return for their starter alone. The mozzarella di bufala with pesto, basil, and tomatoes was my favorite thing on the menu - it was fresh and absolutely delicious (I could have eaten it for all three courses). I would highly recommend!
Food and restaurant was just ok to me. I was expecting a little bit more of the restaurant. The dessert was not good. The Carmel tasted as if it was burnt. The waitress was nice but very dry with no personality. I would not Recommend this place to no one. You can find better places tor purchased pizzas in LA.
