What Insiders Are Saying
No, Pizzeria Mozza is not the best pizza in LA. But that doesn’t mean it’s not still a good restaurant.
overall great food but the deserts were old and very poorly developed but then again...we came for the great garlic bread and pizza which is fantastic.
We loved it, and our kids loved it. We could have kept ordering pizzas all day.
Always fantastic lunch. Pizza was tremendous as was Nancy’s salad. We continue to go back whenever we can. Try it. You can’t beat it. Fresh and tasty!
Incredible food. Excellent service.
Delicious as always. Worth the trek from the westside. :-)
Noise level made talking difficult
Everything was good except for the service. Our server was aggressively rushing us through every part of the process. And we had multiple servers come ask us the same question in quick bursts. There was no care or attention paid to the fact that we were having a conversation at any point in time. I expect better from a restaurant of this caliber
Enhorabuena Nancy Silverton
As always, the food was amazing... Marrow bones to die for... squash blossoms... I still want more... pizza.... I never eat the crust anywhere else except at mozza... drag them in Olive oil and it’s such a treat!!! Thank you for delivering such exquisite food to us❤️❤️❤️❤️
A lovely dining experience from start to finish, we never felt rushed even when one of our party was running late, and everything we ordered was delicious.
PLUS our server Anna was fantastic. She was incredibly nice, helpful, patient & friendly...great service!
Caught up with my cousin. We shared salad, pizza, and the cream puff dessert. Everything was Delish!
Great food! The service was AMAZING! The valet was a tight space and took awhile but nothing crazy! Overall good experience!
Always a great time at pizzeria Mozza! Everything was superb, from service to food.
One of the best pizzas we've had since we moved from New England a lot of years ago.
We loved celebrating our daughters birthday at your restaurant. The food was delicious and service was attentive but not intrusive.
Best pizza!! Noise level is always very high since the restaurant opening. We go there for food 😀😋
Absolutely my favorite pizza restaurant. I love he Bianca pizza with crispy sage- just delicious. The tricolore salad is fresh and delicious. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful. And the butterscotch budino is a must.
Great experience, would definitely return for more!
Enjoyed my meal thoroughly! Will be back when I get the chance!
The food was absolutely fantastic. It lived up to all the reviews. The one downfall was our server. I try to extend the benefit of the doubt to people in the service industry. Who knows what happened previous to them starting their shift. However, she was anything but helpful and seemed almost bothered when serving us, like we had arrived five minutes before closing. Very disappointing even as we tried to engage her in conversation asking about her day. Servers can make or break a dining experience.
The service was a little bit fast. But everything was perfect.
Amazing food and service
Great experience, loved the menu, the staff and the ambiance
One of our favorite restaurants in this city! Wish they would open one in the valley!!!!!
Service was amazing. Had lasagna and pizza. Both were delicious!
I can sit here for hours and enjoy every second of it.
Love Pizzeria Mozza. I make it a point when I'm in LA, to stop by for a salad and pizza. Everything is fantastic on the menu, but the wood fired oven pizza is the best. I've referred many a friend and everyone agrees that it's the best pizza they've ever had! Loaded with toppings, but the thinest crust they manage to crisp perfectly.
Thought it was going to be better than it was. Service was slow, they clearly didn't want kids there - not offering a booster seat or a high chair to my toddler and when I asked for orange juice they said they didn't have any (ummm...screwdrivers from the bar)
They forgot one of the dishes we ordered and although the food thankfully came out quickly and water was refilled quickly as well the overall atmosphere was loud and chaotic - this on a Sunday lunch which I thought would've been a bit more chill. We were stuck in the "wine cellar" area which I also feel lent to the volume.
Whether this is the best pizza in Los Angeles depends on what kind of pizza you like, but I happen to think it ranks #1. The main dining room is very loud - too loud for conversation. But the wine room to the right of the entrance is perfect.
Food is delicious!! Ambience is nice but the room carries sound. So with the music playing on top of all the chatter it tends to be too loud to hold easy conversation. Still worth it!
Hard to find parking in the neighborhood. Very good prosciutto and pizza
$95 for dough and lettuce. $40 corkage
A nice authentic pizzeria, the minute you enter you would realize the charming atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly and they immediately attend to you. We order Pizza its oven baked and it’s amazing. Also go for the chopped salad it’s really good and pair them with the Sauvignon blanc bottle of wine, they go great together. I would go again, that’s how good the place is :)
An amazing night celebrating 2 birthdays... then, we found out it was grilled cheese night!!! One of the most fun and delicious celebrations!
My salad took 35 minutes to arrive with no apology. Not happy
Pizza was great, but the sides were underwhelming. Service was friendly, but we had trash sitting on our table from a gift that had been unwrapped, and it sat there though 4 courses before they cleared it away. Pretty shocked something like that would be so overlooked. The whole experience was not up to the other reviews I'd read and the experience I had anticipated.
Unfortunately not as WOW as the Chefs Table episode made us think it was...
Perfect night. Great table, beautiful service, best mushroom pizza on the planet!
Food was amazing! Definitely coming back!
