Restaurant was empty yet food took a long time to arrive. Pizza toppings did not resemble menu and were minimalistic, with some items were burnt.
Great potential but did not live up to expectation.
Our meal was EXCELLENT. We created our own pizzas which was great because I do not care for tomato sauce and mozzarella. I bought the same ingredients to make the pizza I had at home.
Only problem is that the A/C must have been out and it was uncomfortably warm in there.
My family likes this place and when my son comes in from Portland we do get a pizza the for carry out.
Food quality not as good as prior visits.
The A/C is BROKEN!
The whole system needs to be replaced. Call ahead before going. We weren't notified that it wasn't working ahead of time and weren't told about it until we asked if it could be made cooler in the restaurant. Of course this was after we had already ordered our food. Had to ask for waters for everyone at our table. When we said something to the server about the heat, her reply was "We're hot, too". Well, at least you are getting paid to be there instead of paying for a ruined meal out. We were all sweating and really uncomfortable. We couldn't wait to pay our bill and get outside where it was 15 degrees cooler. We got poor customer service and we weren't even offered a discount on our meal. We will think twice before going here again.
Enjoyed everything about our visit, pizza, wine, service. Plan on returning.
Food was great as always but it was unbearable hot in the restaurant that we had to leave. No air conditioning on.
Service was good. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Air conditioning wasn’t working or not on? Need to do something about the flies. Buffalo chicken meatballs were mushy and overly spiced and not in a ‘spicy’ kind of way. The pizza was minimalist, virtually no toppings and soggy. Not our best visit there.
This place is great. Honestly, coming from New York, this is the only Pizza that I will go out of my way for in Chicago. My only beef with this place is that the glass they served me was completely dirty (it has bits of lettuce and hair in it!). The atmosphere is nice, but a little contrived, and the pizza is a bit overpriced.
Food was delicious but it was sooo hot in the place...it felt cooler outside! But I highly recommend DeVilles!!
Went for the AYCE slices lunch. Great deal - $11 for as much sausage, pepperoni, or cheese pizza as you can eat, plus an unlimited salad. Limited data and times, so call first!
Our son ordered pasta w meatballs. It came out 20 min before our pizzas. He didn’t love the meatballs but said the pasta was good. Our gf pepperoni pizza came out cold and had to be sent back. It was average in taste. Our gf prosciutto and arugula was meh. There was a ton of arugula but maybe 5 pieces of prosciutto. We had the chopped salad and that was very good. My other son had a regular cheese and bacon pizza. He said he can’t figure out if the cheese or the sauce wasn’t to his liking. He didn’t eat it but chose to get chicken from Cluckers down the street afterwards as carryout.
The server was sweet and comped the pepperoni pizza even though we hadn’t asked. But overall, the food wasn’t great so we won’t likely be back.
The menu is overpriced and the appetizers aren't that great
I enjoyed this restaurant. It is family friendly and great options. The restaurant was pretty empty, and yet it took forever to get our food. I think it must have been an off night.
We sat in the basement dining area. Highly recommend they redo the decor there, get rid of the Xmas lights, paint the walls, make it cool. The food and drinks were great but I know next time to wait for a table upstairs.
Emily, our server, was great. Food was OUTSTANDING. We will definitely return!
LIbertyville DeVille! Always the best! Had the meatballs and buffalo chicken meatballs and some pies and ceasar salad!
Good pizza but expensive.
Friendly, professional service. The new square pizzas are THE BOMB! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. A true neighborhood gem.
Always delicious! Never disappoints! The food, service and drinks are amazing!
DeVille never disappoints! I took the oppertunity to meet up with my cousins for Nurses Week! Delicious!
So delicious! One of our favorite spots. Chicken pesto pizza is amazing!
I liked the deep pizza more than the thin crust, the salad was unimpressive and not easy to serve to multiple plates. I don't know if our toppings weren't a good choice to savor the crust, will try again with different toppings.
Great pizza, as always! We always have a great meal and a great time
My daughter and I had the meatball appetizer and a pizza. The food was excellent.
The pizza was unique and tasty and the service was great! Looking forward to returning soon.
Food was delicious and service was friendly and quick!
Great food. Never had a bad experience there.
Hot Honey Square and a Lil Sumpin Sumpin. Mmmmmmmmm.
This was my second visit to Pizzeria DeVille and it was even better this time. We had the square pizza with pepperoni and jalapenos and it was delicious! The other one we had was round and I think it was called the Black and White - also very tasty. Service was great! It's a little loud in the restaurant, but that didn't bother us at all.
Food is terrific. We were sat in the basement which lacks a little ambiance. I would request to sit upstairs next time.
Always have a good time there. Food and drinks are great
Excellent wood fire oven Pizza with unique combination of toppings. Large variety of beers and cocktails also available.
Great to have a place to get wood-fire pizzas nearby.
Terrible food or lack there of. Waste of money.
First time there. Had a "white" pizza (vegetarian)....it was excellent!
Best Pizza in LIbertyville / Vernon Hills. Highly recommend.
We love Pizzeria DeVille! The food is always fantastic, the drinks are creative and delicious, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the feeling is always cozy and comfortable.
Always a reliable good meal with great staff. Try the fall harvest salad it is delicious! Hope it stays on the menu.
Made a reservation for 9 people at 7 p.m. on a Friday. Table was ready, plenty of elbow room around us. Restaurant was full but never too loud to hear each other. We devoured 3 pizzas and 2 salads and ended up ordering 1 more of each.
