Pizzeria Bianco started in 1988 in the back of a Phoenix neighborhood grocery store. Since then, owner and chef Chris Bianco has revolutionized artisanal pizza. Winner of the 2003 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southwest, Bianco was also named one of Zagat's six chefs who changed pizza. He creates specialty pizzas that include the Sonny Boy with fresh mozzarella, salami and olives, the Wiseguy with wood-roasted onion, house-smoked mozzarella and fennel sausage, and the Biancoverde with mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta and arugula.Pizzeria Bianco is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday.

Pizzas are amazing but small. Get the pappardelle pasta and the antipasto, perfect amount of food. Bread was amazing.

Santos was attentive and helpful. The margherita pizza was close to Florence pizza. The hand made mozzarella is delicious. All served with Chianti for Italian memories.

The pizza reminded me of a good pizza in Italy. I got a Margherita with olives. Wonderful. My son got the one with ricotta and arugula, which also looked great (he loved it). The patio at this location has a wonderful vibe. We enjoyed it. The coffee/espresso was the only thing that missed its mark. Otherwise, it’s worth a visit!

Great location and delicious food from the salad to the bread to the pizza. Free public parking. Great experience which we would definitely recommend.

Had to try the Phoenix location after going to DTLA…was in a lil outdoor mall which was pretty empty. The restaurant itself was cute with neat Italian decor. Thankfully we got seated at 5pm instead of the original 5:30pm…got the little gem salad which was so fresh and the dressing was really tasty. Bread and olive oil was good. Got the two pizzas - Rosa and Bianco Verde which were both delicious! ;)

The hype is real. Perfectly charred, delicious crust, toppings that were spot on, appetizer that was yummy (but not filling) - even the drinks were great. We ate: - mozzarella with peppers - margherita - rosa - biancoverde add sausage
