Easy to book, nice ambience and food
We really enjoyed the food! All dishes were very naturally cooked - pastas and pizzas. They were light (no heavy sauces), which we really liked, and with lovely flavours.
Nice meal this evening with friends. Both food and service were good.
Food was underwhelming and somewhat disappointing. Ordered calamari as a starter. It was fine but nothing special. Mains were a major disappointment. My daughter ordered a burger and it came as a meat patty baked in pizza dough. Menu stated burger came on their home made garlic bread. Well, apparently their home made garlic bread is their pizza dough covered in garlic spread. Extremely odd. I ordered a goat cheese salad which was essentially a salad made of toppings they use for the pizza and was hardly worth eating. My husband ordered pizza. It was okay, but not worth actually going here for it. Service was good and ambiance okay. Pretty empty for a Saturday night. After eating there I knew why. This place seems to cut corners in the kitchen to save money instead of making food that looks and tastes good.
Visited Pizza Yard last Friday for a catch up with my friend. I was expecting it to be very busy but easily got a table. We both had pizza's (because of course) and said they were one of the best we've had recently in Dublin.
