We were at Pizza Republica for a birthday celebration - the atmosphere was uplifting and the food and service was great. Great location in DTC
We went to PR for a girls day lunch to celebrate a couple birthdays and it was great!! The service from our waiter and the manager were stellar! It can get a little noisy but not an issue for us at all!! Highly recommended!
My husband had the salmon and said it was delicious. My daughter and I had the gluten free wood fired pizzas, and they were delicious. Best GF pizza crust we have both had.
Not flexible with substitutions. Great server, described how nice the pesto sauce was. My husband tried to order pasta with pesto, no meat or fish. Their policy is that they could make the pasta dish but would still charge the same price if it had a protein ($19.95). My husband ended up eating pizza. The management was willing to listen to our ‘confusion’ about no substitutions and did comp. our dessert for us, which was nice. Kind of a bummer for our Valentines dinner though!
Server was slow and uninvolved. Food was very good
This restaurant is always consistent with their food and service. The menu is outstanding and the ambiance is great too.
We had a great dinner and service. Best way to end the year. Food was fantastic. Specials were amazing. Wine Food and service was outstanding.
Pizza was average at best. Seemes like the quality of the toppings has declined. The sausage was too salty and un-eatable. Someone ordered the pizza / calzone combo and the veggies in the calzone side were raw. Your best bet is to order a pepperoni pizza... it’s what my daughter had from the kids menu and by far the best of the 4 pizza’s ordered.
I like Pizza Republic. Food is really good. Desserts even better. The service was attentative. I would make it a go to Friday date night as an enjoyable evening
Don't go on Christmas EVE! Nobody in the place, rushed, not a nice meal at all. I would have never made a reservation there had I known it was skeleton crew and last seating. It was awful
Food was delicious. The server set us up with a great tasting of cured meats, cheeses, jams and bread which was a great start. The manager was walking through the restaurant and stopped by to visit with us and he suggested we try the diavila pizza with the gluten free crust and it spicy and tasty. We finished with a chocolate dessert that was gluten free for my girlfriend. Great food and staff!
Excellent as usual! We enjoyed trying a new wine and Andre was a great server!
Gnocchi was so small and pricey and taste terrible
Exceptionally good food and lots of options.
Service was excellent- server was attentive and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Meatball appetizer is good and easy to share. Salads were also good.
Always good and a fun place to eat! Perfect for pre-movie or comedy show
Staff worked with us on a quick turn around with a comedy show starting. Limited to ordering food that could be made quickly so the food was mediocre, but the service was great.
I would say mediocr food for a high price. Not very family friendly but good for a date. Sangria was ok, better on the second one and the menu was good but not typical toppings for pizza, which is fine just be aware. Service was slow, not the waiter exactly but the cook line, especially for the small size of the pizza. We order 2 pizzas and it took an hour to get our food. Tables were small and close together, difficult to get comfortable and hear the person next to you. Don’t think we will be back but glad we checked it out.
Best pizza around!
Pizza and salad were good. Waiter was not that friendly. Pizza is light but tasty. Cannoli was was very good. Not your usual cannoli. A pizzelle with cream inside. Try it! Will be back.
We arrived very early for our reservation, but the host was very accommodating and after we started at the bar and a table became available (still before our original reservation time), he offered us the option to go ahead and be seated or remain at the bar until another table was available a little later. The bartender and our server were also both great, and we were never made to feel rushed, even though the restaurant was extremely busy. The food and drinks were excellent, too. We'll be back!
Arrived around 6:30 Told the waitperson we were going to a show in an hour. "No problem". Food came out fast, we were done before 7, and figured there was time for dessert. Wrong! Took fifteen minutes to bring out two easy to plate desserts. By then it was time to go and so we waited another five minutes while they were wrapped. We like PR and will come again, but this wasn't a positive experience.
Made a reservation and requested window seating. We were seated immediately by a window. We ordered a couple of Irish Coffees. They arrived promptly and were excellent. Our server suggested the Soup of the Day (potato). The soup was delicious. My friend had the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes. He said it was also very good. We split a lunch size pizza.
Al in all, the food and service were excellent. This is a true neighborhood gem!
Wedge salad and crispy pancetta pizza. Yum! We always say we're going to order something different but we never do because these two are so delicious.
Food was ok and pretty expensive. My daughter's dinner ended up costing $21 after the $5 upcharge for gluten free pasta and an extra meatball.
Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and escorted to our table. Our server was very attentive. Since the original Cesar Salad (without chicken) was taken off the main menu I asked the Manager if my friend and could split a Cesar Salad without the chicken. He said absolutely.
The Margarita pizza was delicious.
Enjoyable lunch with an old friend.
Great place with great food. Only thing is it is ridiculous that they charge for bread with your mussels!
Overall was a good experience but I felt my presence was unwanted by the waiter. Maybe it was because I'm young & he didn't expect to get a good tip out of me so he decided to take the easy road & fall short on our service.
Food quality was very good. Value was not good. Only one size option for lunch pizzas, you are not allowed to order larger pizza to share. Food took a long time to be brought out making the business lunch take 90 minutes instead of an hour. Server was very nice, but it took a long time for him to process payment again making things awkward.
Overall they need to listen to the voice of the customer more and quit trying to be so swanky. You're a pizza place!
Restaurant was cold at first. Manager did correct the temperature after we asked
Our kind of place: 1 page food menu (all excellent); 2-page wine list! Both were very good and the service was exceptional.
All was good.
I had made a reservation. However, when my wife and sister in law walked in they were immediately escorted to the back of the restaurant. My wife had recent surgery and if asked she would have preferred a window table (I was Parking our car). Later the manager came and apologized.
As usual, the service and food were excellent.
**Suggest that the regular Cesar salad, without the chicken, be returned to the menu.
Best Pizza in Denver!
For a pizza restaurant, not a very good selection of pasta or pizza toppings. Not very crowded yet service was poor...think staffing was low. No air conditioning after a 95 degree day made it a very miserable experience. Manager seemed flippant when asked about the air. Curiously after we complained, it got cooler. I felt for the staff having to work in such conditions as well. Will not go back.
Love the gluten free Pizza crust, the best in town. The fresh ingredients and innovative combinations are terrific. Have a little hard time with the noise level!
I have eaten here before. Very loud this time. Pizza was cold and undercooked. My friend had a salad and enjoyed it. Glass of wine my friend ordered was a very short pour for the price.
Our party was four adults and two teens - we all really enjoyed the food! Our waiter was great (wish I could remember his name)! We were eating prior to heading downtown for a show and the meal was served in a timely manner. Several different side salads were ordered - all declared very good by their respective eaters - and meals varied from roasted chicken, two pizzas, a steak salad, a pasta dish with sausage, and pork belly on grilled watermelon. Everyone enjoyed their meals - the sides accompanying the chicken dish were spectacular - the chicken, slightly bland, but still tasty. The thin crust pizzas were really great! We will go back and I would recommend it to friends.
Slow service, slow to refill drinks and we had two servers. food was bland ... Pizza was dry.
Had just got our salads when they brought our main course,
Enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff was attentive but not overly so.
Great birthday meal with friends! Service was good. Booths were a little too close for comfort. Wouldn't recommend for a date night.
