Since 2008, Pizza Moto has made its name in the 5 boroughs for serving bubbly char-kissed wood-fired pizza from our hand-made mobile ovens. We are a collection of scrappy cooks, designers, artists, and tinkerers, inspired by all parts of the baking and making process. When it came time to put down roots, we restored a turn of the century oven we found hidden in an abandoned storefront in South Brooklyn – we built a restaurant around this piece of New York history serving food that features our wood-fired oven in myriad ways. We cook breads, pastry, pizza, fish, roasts, and veg in the oven using seasonal and local ingredients.

Pizza Moto is a "must go" restaurant. Not only are the pizza's the best my husband and I have had, but everything from the cocktails to the desserts (dark chocolate olive oil cake to die for!) to the service were truly superb. I only wish this restaurant had a branch in Los Angeles!!

We LOVE Pizza Moto! Baylor is the most gracious host, waiter, etc. The food is awesome and the menu constantly rotating with great seasonal specials like soft shell crabs, ramps, etc. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood and also has great cocktails. Food sometimes takes a bit long to come out but at least you won't be rushed!

The verde and mushroom pizzas were outstanding. The trout salad was lovely and a great portion. The eggs in hell was a little soggy and bland, especially compared to the two flavorful pies. Our waitress was kind and witty. Overall, a lovely experience.
