   This venue is an outstanding location for a date night or family dinner, with good quality Italian food and authentic culture. The senior staff often spoke Italian to each other and took pride in speaking the language throughout service. We were well looked after by all staff, and incredibly satisfied with our food and drink. We boxed up our left overs and left with fond memories. We will need to book another holiday to Sydney to return in the future.

   One of the best Italian dinners I've ever had! The owner is passionate about using real San Marzano tomatoes from that special region of Italy. And there were four flavors of homemade gelato! Very friendly and inviting.

   Excellent meals on both occasions we dined here. Service also very good, Roberto is a great front of house person, who looked after us very well.

   Authentic Italian restaurant. Busy and bustling on a Friday night but friendly and welcoming staff. Great Pizza. Lovely evening

   Poorly equipped to deal with Valentines Day. Extremely slow service. Salad took an hour, main course 45 minutes after that. Quality was average at best. Will not return.

   I came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but unfortunately, the experience turned into a disaster. We had a reservation for 7:30 PM and weren’t seated until 7:50 PM. That wasn’t a big issue since we understood it was a busy night. However, things quickly went downhill from there. From what we observed, there were only two staff members on the floor—a young woman and a gentleman who seemed to be the supervisor or manager. The gentleman took our order at around 8:00 PM. We ordered a pizza, spaghetti, and two drinks (a cocktail and a beer). We patiently waited for 45 minutes, observing the restaurant as we both work in the hospitality industry. At this point, we still hadn’t received our food—or even our drinks. Other customers seemed to be in the same situation; an elderly couple who arrived before us still had an empty table with no food or drinks. After an hour of waiting, I decided to go to the bar to ask about our order. The young woman at the bar looked confused when I mentioned our order. She then called over the gentleman who took it, and they had a conversation in Italian. He finally turned to me and said he would make our drinks right away and bring them to our table within five minutes. Frustrated but still trying to be patient, I was about to walk back to my table when I overheard him speaking to the kitchen—just then putting our food order through! At that point, I lost it. Seriously?! We had been waiting for an hour, and our food order hadn’t even been sent to the kitchen?! That meant we’d likely have to wait at least another 15 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. This experience was beyond disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a smooth, well-managed dining experience—especially on a special occasion.

   This restaurant was an accidental find but has the feel of a classic Italian restaurant as you would find them in Europe with a friendly and helpful staff. The view on CBD is also a nice extra on top.

   We had an enjoyable experience at Pizza e Vino last Saturday evening. The staff were very friendly as everyone greeted us as we entered the restaurant. The restaurant was nice and warm and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The Diavolo pizza was delicious also the pasta dishes. And the dessert with mascarpone and dark chocolate shavings was amazing. Will definitely be back.
