Pizano's Pizza and Pasta - Indiana Ave.
We arrived 15 min prior to our reservations only to be told it would be another half hour to 45 minutes before we would be seated. Since we were on a time crunch we had no choice but to leave. Very disappointing.
They couldn’t hold the reservation and had to eventually leave. Why are they on here when they can’t hold a reservation?
Within walking distance from McCormick place, was a fine convenient choice for pizza and drinks.
Close to the convention center and a great meal!
We received the wrong order, which the server confirmed she had entered it incorrectly. The restaurant did nothing to correct this, including charging us for the incorrect order which was more expensive than the food we received.
Server was great. Pizza was great. Hostess was rather rude and abrupt. Probably would have left die to her unwelcoming attitude but it was very cold out and we didn’t want to have to walk somewhere else.
Otherwise it was great.
Great service. Great pizza. Quick walk to McCormick place for auto show.
I ordered a pizza at 7:30 and didn’t get it until 8:40 . The waiter told me it was going to be half an hour. The table next to me got there 20 minutes after me and they got their pizza before me. I asked the waiter for some ranch and he told me it was going to be an extra charge , as if I was asking for ranch like it’s free . He could have easily brought it and added it to the bill without the smart comment. The bus-boys brought me my food the waiter didn’t, and he never came to ask us how we were doing. I usually don’t care if waiters do but I never got my ranch and I need him to approach us so I could ask for it. He never once did but he approached the tables next to us many times. They came to take our plates and thats when he decided to approach us to give us water. I stopped him and told him I wanted my bill and that he needed to remove the charge from the ranch because I never got it. He caught an attitude and rolled his eyes. The pizza was hard and had more peppers than it did pepperoni. Awful experience.
We love going to Pizano’s. My favorite pizza in Chicago! The McCormick location is great-it’s just a true Chicago experience. And when a local game is on tv, it’s a bonus! The Pizano’s salad is a must try. Can't go wrong.
This is one of my favorite pizza places!! Pizza is so good!! My party ordered the toasted Ravioli and bruschetta for an appetizer and it did not disappoint!!
We were at the McCormick Center for volleyball tournament staying in the area. We came here last year and this year was just as good. We had garlic bread and thin crust sausage and cheese pizza. Sausage was outstanding. Fast and friendly service and it was super busy.
Great meal!!
The staff was very accommodating. The food and service was excellent. Great pregame spot.
Pizza is amazing, so darn good! The salads were a little underwhelming, especially for $6.50 each. Simple lettuce, carrot, tomato and croutons. Nothing exciting to make it almost 7 buck worthy. Service is amazing, but they pack the people in and on both sides of our table we had people sitting at the end so us being in the middle made it almost impossible to get in and out of the booth side of the table. It is also SO loud, which is Ok, but don't expect to have any important conversations at dinner! Overall, hands down the best pizza we've had while in Chicago and we visit fairly often. Skip the salad, and know that the brewskis are pricey too. All in for our family of four to eat a large pie, 2 beers, 4 salads, 3 soft drinks, was $98 plus tip. A bit steeper than we'd have expected for a pizza and beer joint. We'll be back, but sodas and pie will be all we order second go!
Had a 6:15 reservation for 2 with an old friend to catch up before Depaul game and they had not seated us by 6:45, but they seated others from walk-in wait list and others who checked in on open table after us. Completley disorganized and hostess was indifferent to our plight. What's the point of a reservation if they don't honor it? Frustrated, we eventually just walked out and had a beer and brat at Wintrust, which we probably should have done in the first place. Note: I can only give a one star for service but open table makes you choose a star for every category.
Always great food and value. Whenever we attend an event at Wintrust Stadium, we always get a bite to eat at Pizano’s.
Guests from out of town. Wanted deep dish pizza and we were at McCormick place. Great pizza and excellent service
Great food and walking distance to hotels and other attractions
Great experience, service was amazing. Food Fabulous
Excellent food and service! Highly recommend
I was there yet I received an email that I missed. That’s not true
DePaul BBall game
Pizza dough tasted freezer burnt.
Family is visiting Chicago and we picked Pizano’s for lunch. To our surprise it was very good. The service is good. Recommend for their deep dish pizza, wings and a carb free pizza.
Great thin pizza and excellent Tortellini. Our service Maddie was best server I have had in years!!! Great ambience, and friendly staff. Excellent “ walk to” location near McCormick center. Thank you.
Great pasta and service. Appetizers and desserts are fairly run-of-the-mill.
I was in town for a wedding and it was my first time in Chicago so I wanted Chicago deep dish pizza! It was fabulous! Over my 5 days in Chicago, I tried many pizzas at places recommended as the best, but none were better than Pizanos. Even better than Lou Malnottis! Plus, you can make a reservation. I ate there twice and wish I hadn't wasted my time trying others.
Very good Chicago style pozza.
Amazing!! I wish I lived closer I would go all the time!!
We were seated right away, the waiter was funny friendly and nice , The pizza was delicious you could taste the sauce, the chicken all the peppers to perfection my husband and I were very pleased as was our eleven year old son !!
Thank You
Great food and staff. Long wait for food
Great food and great service! Will definitely go back
This family of five was seated and served immediately. We loved the atmosphere, the music, the food and the service. We'll be back!!
The deep-dish Pizza was as good as some of the more famous places in Chicago. Overall, our experience at Pizano's was better than these other famous venues, because we were able to make a reservation for 6 people on a Saturday night with only a couple hours notice (the others places were too busy) and the restaurant was somewhat busy, yet not so crowded that it was too loud. My table of six was able to talk at a normal level and hear each other. Great pizza, great local beer, and a great time.
Excellent Service this Restaurant is the number one in Chicago
Rudest hostesses I’ve experienced in years. Nicest waitress I’ve experienced in years. Great pizza. Nice ambiance. Reasonably priced. So talk about a mixed bag...
Authentic Chicago pizzeria. We loved the pizza there!
Keith was especially attentive as our server. Everything was delicious!
