Pizano's Pizza and Pasta - Indiana Ave.
Great food and great service! Will definitely go back
This family of five was seated and served immediately. We loved the atmosphere, the music, the food and the service. We'll be back!!
The deep-dish Pizza was as good as some of the more famous places in Chicago. Overall, our experience at Pizano's was better than these other famous venues, because we were able to make a reservation for 6 people on a Saturday night with only a couple hours notice (the others places were too busy) and the restaurant was somewhat busy, yet not so crowded that it was too loud. My table of six was able to talk at a normal level and hear each other. Great pizza, great local beer, and a great time.
Excellent Service this Restaurant is the number one in Chicago
Rudest hostesses I’ve experienced in years. Nicest waitress I’ve experienced in years. Great pizza. Nice ambiance. Reasonably priced. So talk about a mixed bag...
Authentic Chicago pizzeria. We loved the pizza there!
Keith was especially attentive as our server. Everything was delicious!
Great food and atmosphere. Deep dish pizza was awesome. Friendly staff and good beer.
Nice selection of beers on tap.
Calamari and fried ravioli were delicious
Pizzas were outstanding.
Waitress was friendly and informative.
Just very disappointing!! The pizza looked good but had little flavor. The waitress was just ok. And parking was terrible to find
Beautiful night outside patio great service and excellent food try the sausage and peppers appetizer awesome
Great place for casual dining and with friends or family. Attentive manager and staff
They are very mindful of catering to the needs of customers who have entertainment plans in the city. Great stop before the Stones concert!
I brought a couple of clients from out of town from a conference at McCormick Place West. It was easy to get to and with a reservation very easy to be seated. Our server was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was more than willing to talk about the deep dish pizza and what made Pizanos special (the butter crust). It made for an easy, great lunch.
I had seen the restaurant a few times when attending a Sky game. So when I needed a place to eat before Cirque du Soleil I thought of them.
Great casual sports bar ambiance with Italian Food and Pizza as the main focus on the menu. We had toasted ravioli and sausage and peppers as appetizers......both were top notch. The large meat lovers deep dish pizza was 8 big slices and fed 4 hungry dudes following a day at a trade show at McCormick Place. The deep dish was not quite as thick as some of the other better know joints in Chicago but the meat and sauce had a great flavor and we were not disappointed. This joint is in walking distance of all the hotels near McCormick place and well worth a visit.....plus, you avoid all the traffic of having to head north the other big name joints.
We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but we’re somewhat disappointed on this visit. The $12.50 salad for the table was not served until after an entree salad had been served, required two reminders, and was not worth the price. We received spaghetti and small meatballs rather than the side order of meatballs we ordered after being informed there would be two 8 ounce meatballs. The pizza was bland. An off night, I guess.
The Deep dish pizza was AWESOME!! Service was great
Great for a meal with family.
Great food and great service. Convenient to McCormick Place & hotels around it. Keith was my waiter and he was exceptional! Highly recommended!
A group of us went to lunch there during a huge conference at McCormick Place. We had a wonderful server who understood how important our time was. He got our order in quickly and he went above and beyond to make lunch enjoyable! Pizza and cheesy garlic bread were fabulous, but it was our hostess that was rude. I know you're busy but when I approached the hostess stand to check to see if my group had checked in she looked at me and said "What?" I asked if we were checked in her response was "Yeah" and then I asked if she happened to know how much longer it would be and her response was "I don't know." Now I was not being pushy, I was simply asking. I was just so hppay her negative energy didn't damper our experience. I would definitely go back because the food and server were Amazing!
The place has great ambiance.
We were expecting great food- however, it was nothing to write home about.
The flavors were "safe" and the chicken lemon was over cooked.
Our waiter was speedy with service to begin, and then the service tapered off.
I would go back but only to have cocktails before an event.
Good food but don’t go without a reservation. I had one but saw the line waiting
Food was great, service was great even with it being crazy busy! They even had a “carb free” pizza option which was unexpected and so Delicious!
Excellent. We were warned about the pizza cook time and ordered appetizers and a family salad that came quickly. All excellent. :)
Pizano’s was recommended to us by a good friend and Chicagoan. Pizza was a little disappointing. Greasy and the sauce slid around on top of the crust. Not bad, just not up to other Chicago Pizza expectations.
On a positive note: they were able to seat us 45 minutes early for our reservation.
I didn’t realize this was Lou Malnati’s...consistent.
Manager was not accepting Open Table reservations, just their own list. She told me she would not honor reservations over “people who waited in the restaurant” like it’s my fault they don’t use the app!
We made reservations on open table. When we arrived they told us they are too busy to honor our reservation and that there would be at least an hour wait. I thought that was the purpose of making reservations on busy nights. Very disappointed in this restaurant. You should try Giordano! Their service that same night was amazing as well as their food!
Great place for a multi-generational family dinner.
Our service was excellent. His name was Victor and he was so nice. We had a great time! Thank you!
Love Pizano’s, however, they are not trained sufficiently when the restaurant is full. The Women’s basketball tournament was in full swing at Wintrust Arena and the restaurant was at capacity. We had to get our own plates from the wait station even though we had asked three different employees to bring us some. All enthusiastically nodded yes, but never brought them. By the time we got the plates ourselves, we were rushed into finishing our salads because the pizza had arrived. This is the exception rather than the rule at Pizano’s, but the problem should be addressed.
It was my first time there. We ordered the pizza in advance because we were going to the basketball game and they had it ready to go just after we sat down. We had the thin crust sausage and cheese pizza and the house salad. Everything was great. The hostess, bartender and wait staff were very professional and courteous. We will be back.
Pizza here is fabulous, both thin and deep dish. Other dishes I’ve tried are okay. Problem with this restaurant is with its proximity to Wintrust Arena; the kitchen is unable to handle big surges in volume pre-event. The wait for a thin crust is more than 45 minutes. So, go early if you are trying to eat before a concert or event. This is also a very noisy restaurant. Wait staff is very good, hostess staff does a good job getting walking seated, but great idea to make a reservation.
Ordered two small pizzas and salads. Salads were okay but the pizza was awful crust was hard and dry. No flavor.
Service and food was very good. Pricey for pizza but in a great location so worth it. Would definitely go back for events at Wintrust
Mark was a great waiter. It was busy, but we were well attended to. Already recommending to Wintrust attendees, to check them out!
it was an especially busy evening with lots of people in costume from a convention at McCormick, so although service was a little slower than usual, the food was excellent and they provided my daughter with a birthday treat to help us celebrate!
