All was great. Drinks, food, apps and service. A nice find and recommend.
I enjoyed my Mother's Day meal. The food was delicious and it is a great atmosphere. Will definitely head there for another special occasion.
Food was ok and the cowboy steak had a lot of fat and silver skin
We took a "road less traveled"...We shared a couple of exquisite appetizers and a very tasty salad and wine. Just a pleasant, wonderful and filling dinner!
Wish I lived closer to sample this far more often.
Only got to eat 1/2 salad and iced teas cuz they never bothered to get the rest of our order. 1 hour in it was time to go. No one around and no attention to detail. Poor service for what’s supposed to be a high caliber restaurant experience.
Our waiter was excellent, crab legs extraordinary, husband's Porter House steak was tough and not very memorable. For the prices you pay, you expect extraordinary service, FOOD and atmosphere. I found the wine list somewhat limited, there was no bread basket, dessert menu limited....even the main menu seemed somewhat limited and blah. If you are paying prices that you would pay at Ruth Chris or the St. Paul Hotel, I expected a lot more bang for the buck. We were there to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. We will not be rushing back anytime soon. I would not recommend for a special occasion.
The food was very good. Side portions are enormous. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommended.
Food was delicious and big portions. The family style sides can feed like 5 people
Nice atmosphere with great service. Food was excellent.
Filet mignon was amazing, service was excellent. Definitely recommend.
Service was good. The steak was good but for the price the size of the steak and the taste of the extras was not there for the price.
The food was tasty and the service was good, however the loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus could have been much warmer. I ordered my filet medium but it was well to medium well done. For the prices they charge, I expect perfection when it arrives at my table.
Great food and service. Good wine selection too
Excellent service and food was great, would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal, steaks are superb, cooked perfectly, blue hash browns one of my favorite.
Dinner was not as good as I thought it would be for the prices. Steak was the chewiest piece of meat I’ve ever had. BUT I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK FOR THEIR DESSERTS!!! All were amazing! The server was very nice and attentive. I did remember thinking it’s very quiet in here while eating. I don’t think they have any music playing that I can remember. Little weird to me but if quiet amazing dessert is your thing THIS IS THE SPOT!
Everything was fantastic. They ran out of the dish my wife ordered but she moved to the sea bass. The manager there Beth is always awesome. We sat in bar area/booth and it was noisy.. our fault not theirs.
Scallop ap was amazing-some of the best we have ever had. Same goes for the asparagus side. Main courses were just as delicious. Expensive, but worth it. Waiter was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Food and service was excellent. Someone else's food came to the table and was on our bill, but it was promptly corrected.
Cost seemed a little high.
Attentive waitstaff; Sunday supper is a great value, however 2 of our 6 guests received medium filets when they had requested medium rare, filets were tough, and we had to request steak knives; and sundaes looked to have been sitting on the counter as they were half melted. Previous Sunday Supper visits have been outstanding.
Made a reservation for my husband's birthday. We were seated at a middle table rather than a booth. When I asked about this I was told the restaurant was full for the evening. Throughout the course of our visit there was five empty booths around us the whole time. All of the food was underseasoned. My daughters pasta was undersauced. The whole experience was underwhelming and honestly, disappointing. Will not be going back.
Dinner was great as usual. Birthday desert was delicious!
Great bar and place to meet friends; the food is a bit high priced for what it was. It was good but not equivalent to the cost.
Great happy hour specials! Must try the Parmesan fries!!!
It’s not cheap, but the food and experience are amazing so worth it when you want to treat yourself!
Our steaks were done perfectly and so very tasty. The loaded mashed potatoes were excellent. Made for some great leftovers. We would definetly eat there again.
Food is really good. The mashed potatoes are a MUST. A little pricey but overall a good place to have a business meeting or a night out.
We were seated promptly and all of the wait staff did an excellent job. They were attentive to our needs while still being respectful of our privacy.
Great service but cost is prohibitively high for the quality of the food can definitely go to restaurants with better quality food and more reasonably priced
Our server was mindful of my father’s Alzheimers and allowed my parents to have a happy celebration for their anniversary,(they even cut his meat in the kitchen so my mother did not have to be his caregiver!). I’ll be forever grateful for the kindness we were shown.
Excellent food in a quiet, intimate atmosphere. Excellent t service. Very little waiting.
Usually it’s pretty good but not this time. The steak on the salad was supposed to be a filet cut but it was very tough. I’ve never eaten a filet that tough before. My wife’s seafood salad was not good as well. Very little crabmeat and seafood wasn’t seasoned. Key Lime pie was excellent. The server was very good. Very Disappointed this time.
I got the horseradish crusted filet, with sides of mushrooms and loaded baked potatoes. Absolutely fantastic
This was an amazing date night! The dark lighting set a soft mood! Our waitress was so kind, and explained the menu! I would definitely recommend!
Good steakhouse vibe.
It was highly recommended by locals a d I’ll be honest it was some of the worst food I’ve had at a steakhouse. The service was less than attentive to our table which is hard to believe with limited capacity. I won’t return nor will I recommend this restaurant.
Our second time to the Pittsburgh Blue in Rochester for dinner. Each time it has been outstanding in all respects. Great food, well prepared to our specifications. Excellent, professional and friendly service. Sides are definitely for table sharing. Asparagus perfect, hash browns were actually beautiful! Steaks perfectly prepared and very flavorful.
Also, just came back for a 4:00 late lunch today. Again, outstanding service and food. Portions of the happy hour selections were generous. We will be back and highly recommend.
Everything was excellent! Our server was very nice and attentive! We’re definitely coming back!
Thank you! Ella & Terry
The food was beyond amazing! I would recommend Pittsburgh Blue to everyone!
Cheesecake is amazing, not too heavy, got to have the strawberries and strawberry topping, steaks cooked perfect, server was spot on
