We had a delicious dinner for our anniversary. Kelsey was an excellent server.
Food quality is very good , maple glazed bacon a must to try. However the menu requires more character.
Had a bit of trouble ordering the sea bass. It arrived very burnt on both sides. Not sure why the chef attempted to cook the sea bass as a steak but it was done twice. It was my good fortune that my husband had ordered the kings cut of prime rib... which was spectacular. I believe this was just a fluke, perhaps someone hadn’t been correctly shown how to pan sear the sea bass. Everything else was wonderful. The hash browns were as spectacular as ever and the prime rib simply superb. I really enjoy the bread course too.
Wonderful addition to the Rochester dining scene. Can’t wait to return.
A great evening for our 54th anniversary. We enjoyed it very much.
We celebrated our anniversary at Pittsburgh Blue and we are always satisfied!
Great food and great service.
Just didn’t live up to our expectations. My entree cobb salad was lackluster. Just mediocre overall
Slow to get food and steak was tough. Not as good as usual
We found not much on the menu for sides, just 3 potatoes choices, not 5 or 6 in the past.
Dinner salad and ceasersalad very bland and flat, lots of lettuce without much else. The meat was outstanding, rolls were outstanding in which should be served in a basket, not just 2, we had to ask for more.Birthday desert was good, excellent male waiter. It is sad that a steak as ours, doesn't over any lobster tail!!! Very, very disappointing!
Over all, the Abilene was very drape, also had to walk through the bar to the restaurant, not cool, poorly laid out. We have eaten in the one in Edina, laid out so much better for been old!,, overall, so so, may or may not come back
Sometimes you don't want a meal to take 2 hours. Have figured out that I have to let the server know that . When it's just my wife wife and myself, 2 hours is fine. With 3 kids accompanying us, 2 hours is way too long. Our Server was awesome. Service was great and he kept us up to date with how long everything would take to come out. Bacon and Coconut Shrimp were very good. My filet was cooked perfectly. Can't wait to go again.
very good food. expensive. water tastes funny they need a filter.
Enjoyable anniversary dinner, great place to celebrate. Will return.
Food was amazing and worth every penny! Can’t say enough good things!
Great food, very delicious, the loaded mash potatoes were more then enough for 2 (single serving)
Was there for our 30th Anniversary - meal and service was top notch! Highly recommend.
Food was amazing.! Server was attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the entire evening!
It was our first time there and our food and our server was amazing! We will definitely be back
The food is OUTSTANDING, the service excellent as well. Very pricey, but worth it since we go there very rarely.
The prime rib didn't not have any flavor. The French fries sounded better in description, just parm sprinkled on top. The presentation of the food was great, but priced high for taste.
Totally enjoyable says it all!
We had prime rib and walleye, with wedge salads and side dishes. Food was outstanding. The waiter was outstanding - friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the craft beer selection. I will go back.
We enjoy Pittsburgh Blue when in Rochester. The server was amazing and we felt safe.
Beef done to perfection. They have a plus system (like medium rare plus) that allows you to get it done just the way you want.
We will do it again. Enjoyed everything. Steaks were done perfectly and hash browns set the whole meal off.
It was so nice to be back at Pittsburgh Blue post quarantine. We went early in the evening so we practically had the place to ourselves. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Dinner was paced appropriately and it was very clear that the staff were trying to provide as normal an experience as possible. Everyone was wearing masks and and taking appropriate precautions, but it wasn't overbearing. Tables are all well spaced and I would have felt comfortable if all the tables were completely occupied. I am so looking forward to going back and to experiencing a more expanded menu. I miss their lobster roll!
The food was excellent and the service was even better. Will return for another special occasion.
My wife and I were looking for a nice dinner when we were in town and happily surprised with everything that the Pittsburgh restaurant gave us. The food was very good the staff was very polite and it’s just an all round great dinner
We were looking for a good steak in the Mayo Clinic area and found it. With this being my last meal for a month due to health reasons saying I was looking forward to it would have been an understatement. The main issue was the service. It seemed like my wife and I were an inconvenience from the start. We are in our late 20s and I feel like that leads to bad service from time to time but we have the benefit of the doubt. I get the need to ID but after ordering a drink and not getting ID my wife proceeded to order one after having a soda. The response was 1 word “ID” he stared at it for a good minute flipping it over a few times before giving it back without saying a word. We’re from Ohio so I get the IDs look different but still rude. I had some questions about the menu and all the responses were very short. As service ended I feel my frustrations were felt and it began to get better but still for the price we were paying this was unacceptable. We still left a 18% tip because we didn’t want to play into the stereotype that young couples don’t tip well. Needless to say in our return visits to Mayo Clinic we will not be returning.
We had a wonderful date night! Food was amazing and Shyler did a great job as our server!
Great food. Excellent service.
We celebrated a birthday with 7 of us, all the meals were perfect, wine was excellent, and service was great, can't wait to go again,,, the side dishes are truly large enough to share and even tho the prices seem high, the quality and quantity make it well worth it
Overall a good place to eat. Comparable pricing to other chain steakhouses. They simply over season their meat. Good, not great food.
The experience was first class from start to finish.
A favorite place to go for a good steak. Mushrooms are a must have. Excellent wine list.
Great food and great service!!! Excited to go back again!
Our regular servers were back and nice to see them. The menu was somewhat more limited but for the most part complete. we did have to wait an unusually long time for our food to come out of the kitchen. The order was wrong, we ordered a horseradish crusted steak medium well and got a bleu cheese crusted steak that was well done.
They just opened back up and short staffed. Still, Dorian was excellent and the food lovely. Kind of pricey, though.
Great bar atmosphere & bar menu. Had a cocktail & appetizer. Friendly bartender. Moved to dining area for dinner. Classy, quiet & comfortable. Excellent server. Probably the best filet mignon I have had.
The food was excellent, the staff was great as well.
The restaurant was a joy to see.
First time at Pittsburgh Blue - highly recommend, appetizers were on point - had Calamari and Maple Glazed bacon. We all ordered steaks - all were prepared perfectly and were some of the best steaks we've had in Rochester. Sides were asparagus and loaded mash potatoes.
Was boring. Nothing really to recommend a return visit.
