   Both of our steaks were undercooked. They offered to take them back but we declined. The reservation form asks if there is any occasion so we had made the specific notation on the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary however, despite this, our anniversary was not mentioned by our server so that was a little disappointing.

   We have eaten in so many Steak Houses in Minnesota. This is the best Steak House (outside of 2 in Minneapolis) that we have eaten in. Meat well flavored, cooked as ordered. "Sides" are plentiful and tasty. Servers observe and offer additional service as we need, not as they come by. Drinks well "put-together". We will be eating there once every month. TY

   We love this restaurant! They have a great menu, with so much from which to select. Of course they’re known for steaks, but there is a lot more.The pasta dishes are outstanding. Quality food, great service.

   Overall the dinner was very enjoyable. Steak prepared perfectly, salad and soup delicious. The only item that couldn’t be eaten was the blue hash browns, they were drenched with so much hot sauce that it was all you could taste.

   As a new steakhouse in Rochester MN, I thought we really needed to try it out. I almost always order the filet when dining out. So I know how they should be prepared. However, the filet I was served last night was the absolute worst. It was supposed to be grilled medium rare, which the inside core was. But the outside 1/4" was burnt, and was as tough as nails to cut. How you can take the most tender cut of beef and turn it into a charcoal clinker is beyond me. I would not recommend eating at Pittsburgh Blue if you like good steak.

   We completely enjoyed everything about our dinner at Pittsburgh Blue. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! We will definitely be returning soon.

    The restaurant was abnormally loud for how many people were there when we visited. There was a lady about three tables away from us hysterically laughing who could not seem to compose herself. We all had to talk louder to hear each other at our own tables. The wait staff delivers food on rolling shelves which continually had one of our guests having to move and squeeze into the table closer and was annoying after about a 1/2 dozen times it happened, so finally we just moved our entire table over about 6 to 12 inches to accommodate her. She is a small person by the way and did not have her chair hanging out overly far. Our waiter did a phenomenal job explaining the menu and making suggestions for the four of us who have never been there before. The food was amazing but somewhat pricier than some of the comparable steak houses we have been to. I’m glad we checked it out though.
