Had the surf and turf everything tasted good but she told me it was going to be a ribeye instead of a ny strip and the steak that I got with my meal was definately not a ribeye
It was a perfect business lunch. My customer had not been there before, and was very impressed.
We had a wonderful dinner the other night! Service was excellent but, as others have wrote, it was freezing in there! I, thanks to open table, requested a table away from the door! The bleu cheese mashed potatoes were excellent 😀
Best food in Minnesota by far. The staff was very professional
You’ll never go wrong with Pittsburg Blue though you gotta be ready for the $check$
Our waiter, Sean, was excellent!
This was by far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Well worth the price. Our meat was very tasteful and couldnt have asked for it any other way!
Food quality has dropped over the years while prices have gone up. Party of 5, only one person really enjoyed their meal. It’s always noisy and cold there. Reservation stated it was a birthday but they ignored that.
For years we went to PB for special celebrations but I hope never to return. Waitress was nice, she took the price of my salad off the bill because there was a long black hair in it. (There were also pieces of crab shell but apparently those are to be expected.)
Excellent food , fantastic service. No where better for a steak in the suburbs!!!
Pretty good food and very nice service. Steak prices are on the high side, this is not Manny's Steakhouse!
Sheila was a fabulous server! We had a wonderful lunch! Will return again soon!
Great food, server was just ok
Was a fantastic meal with such a sweet and fun waitress in the bar area! The turkey burger was one of the best I’ve ever had, SO GOOD!! Definitely will be back for that again
Nikki, our server, was great and the food was exceptional, seasoned just right, temps on all 4 steaks were spot on, and the service throughout was attentive, friendly, but not intrusive. This was exactly as expected, we are from Durango Colorado but have family that live by, and this is our go to for great mealsfor a couple years now while here. We'll be back. Aaron Peterson
Food was fine but it was freezing in there! We moved tables to be next to the kitchen but it was still cold, and I'm always warm. There was nobody in the dining room that didn't have their coat on.
We really wanted to stay and chat but couldn't take it. Left as soon as we finished.
I had company from out of town visiting and I thought we would try something new, we shouldn't have!! We were very DISAPPOINTED with this place. Four of the cocktails had fruit flies in them, one of the cocktails was sent back because it wasn't the right thing. The bacon app was very small portion for a premium price, the onion rings had no flavor. I ordered the King Crab, $64.95 for a cold crab leg, small portion. The other five got there meal while mine sat on the cart needing to be cracked, by the time I got mine it was cold and the butter wasn't even warm. I had a crappy meal with a $850 bill with tip for six people and I drank ice tea, should have had a few cocktails to absorb the experience. The waitress was really good, the restaurant was very unwelcoming, cold and overpriced!! I don't mind paying for a good experience but this was not one of them! On top of everything, they add a 3% employee wellness fee- I refuse to pay a business expense, this is the cost of doing business and shouldn't be passed on to the customer!!! Raise your prices, do something instead of putting it directly on the bill.
As always, Pittsburgh blue does not disappoint! Food is always amazing, great drink selection and fantastic service!
First time there, it was amazing! Food was amazing! Our server was amazing! Definitely a wonderful experience and we would go back in a heart beat! I even told my son we could have his grooms dinner here! So good!
Always a great place to celebrate special occasions.
We we celebrating our children both landing great jobs
Impressive waiter and top notch service. The Crab Legs were amazing!
We asked for no butter on the food and it all came with butter, we told them about it and all they said was sorry
Steak was good, prime rib was good, but crab stuffed shrimp were Overly garlicy, and the lobster was so overcooked that it was very rubbery. Hashbrowns were perfect. Maple Bacon appetizer was a letdown in that it was overcooked and so very fatty, not meaty. Used to really like Pittsburgh Blue, but won't be going back anytime soon.
We were pleased to be greeted by "Happy Anniversary" when we arrived and were brought to a very nice booth location
Peter our waiter was outstanding
Our meals were great. I thoughly enjoyed my oysters and petite filet
Jeanne loved her King Crab. We both were delighted with the hash browns and mushrooms which we ate, but had generous amount to bring home
Peter did a great job on going over our menu options. We felt we got very good value
We will remember our Anniversary dinner and be back to Pittsburgh Blue Maple Grove in the future.
The food at Pittsburg Blue was very good and the drink were as well, but it really felt like an upscale Applebee's. The steaks we had were very good and so was the drinks and soup, don't get me wrong, but the noise level was medium loud, and if you were at a table, you were pretty tightly packed in. The service was good , but I didn't understand why they rolled everything out on carts and then reached over the cart to place your plate. The one thing that was impressive to me was the ice cube in my drink. It was etched with "BLUE" and was visible when you looked down through the cube.
Food was very good, presentation excellent. Our waitress was just wonderful so personable and pleasant and most helpful. The restaurant is lovely and very nice ambiance. My friend and I came for lunch and spent quite a long time visiting and no prompting to leave. The lunch special are very nicely priced but my only objection is the prices for dinner are quite high we both felt.
As usual, Pittsburgh Blue delivered on food, ambience and service. Will continue to book reservations when in town
I was not pleased with my experience at Pittsburgh Blue. Our server Sara B was awful. We ordered to large steaks and hash brown to share and after we ordered, Sara asked, “No drink other than water? No soup or salad? Or veggies to go with your meat?” No. First of all, if we’re already ordering a large steak and side we’re not even going to finish it so I don’t want to spend $15 on veggies knowing veggies are over priced and that I’m not going to finish it. If she cares so much for wanting a bigger tab and tip then go work at Murray’s. The NY strip we got was medium rare just like we wanted but it was so tough to cut into and chew. Do not get that, it felt like a steak from Apple Bees. We got done eating at about 7pm, kid you not, it took Sara 25 minutes just to come back to our table to ask if we wanted dessert and then our tab. In that 25 mins she visited tables behind us multiple times to chat up a storm. Oh and I’m not pleased with the wellness charge. Usually when we make Reservations for fine dining at other restaurants, out servers would already know the reason for the visit and would say happy anniversary and offer complimentary dessert at the end.
Food was awesome the staff was fun. A bit pricey for the Prime Rib.
Overall very good. My steak at $30.00 plus was tougher than one might have expected .
Food and Service were great. It was a little noisy to visit with guests at our table. However we did enjoy the evening a lot.
Our server was excellent! It was our first time dining at Pittsburgh Blue. He was patient, helpful, and very polite. Our dining experience at Pittsburgh Blue was wonderful!
Food was outstanding, service was perfect. Aaron was one of the best servers I have ever had serve us at any restaurant I have ever visited. I would suggest avoiding Friday night, though, because of the incredible crowds.
The team there was great.
We ate at your Edina location several years ago and the food was better quality, although extremely expensive. We celebrated our anniversary at your Maple Grove location a couple of days ago and we were not impressed. It was freezing cold in the restaurant and several of your booths (we moved once) appeared to have broken springs. We shared a steak and lobster dinner. The lobster was very small, not the best quality and we ordered the steak medium rare. It came extremely rare and we had to send it back. It was not the best quality steak for the money. We will not be back.
High price, not high quality. The service was good but the food was mediocre.
I have equated PB to other ala carte steak houses like Mannys or Capital Grill, however this birthday celebration was dismal. From the service to the meal it was not even close to the what you would expect. 5 adults without buying any bottles of wine and 1 adult beverage per adult the tab was $500. The Surf and turf was very poor quality and no taste, chicken club was cold and terrible, walleye mediocre at best and prime rib was tough and tasteless and the fillet was cold and tough, broccoli was raw and cold! Two things were good. The hashbrowns and the creamed spinach. That was it! We are done with PB.
We frequent this restaurant about 3or4 times a year to celebrate special occasions. Always a great meal with excellent service. Not too loud at 7pm on Tuesday night. It is our go-to steakhouse. Although it's a bit pricey, or us, it's definately worth a splurge now and then ;)
Delicious food and service. Our server was very attentive. The noise level was reasonable when most restaurants are too noisy.
