Very enjoyable dinner - very good food (the scallop appetizer - unique and very good).
Lamb chops were great ( not on a lot of menus and they were done as ordered) and the hash browns were perfect as usual.
Consistently good on all deliverables.
Rachel did a great job of taking care of us.
Another excellent lunch in the warm ambience of Pittsburgh Blue in Galleria, Edina!
Rachel's warm, knowledgeable service was extraordinary!
Their impressive menu is well executed and appreciated!
Overall, very good food. Ribeye great, NY Strip not that much. Mashed potatoes great, sweet potato fries so-so. Cocktails great, non-alcoholic drinks great, wine good. Nice ambience and service. Will recommend!
Snow storm so place was not packed. Overall good food and good service
We've been here a few times and always leave full and impressed. All dinners at the table were excellent. I love the variety on the menu. Good service.
The food is great! I’ve tried many items on the menu and have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly and service is top notch. I highly recommend.
Fabulous service and amazing food every time! I have a gluten allergy and they were so wonderful working with me on options.
Delightful. The food never disappoints even when the company does!
Everything was awesome. Our server was amazing and the food was superb. First time at this restaurant and we loved it
As always, phenomenal ribeye!
This restaurant has gone down hill. Had to send the Caesar salad back as the dressing was flat and stale. The placemats are literally best to sh*t and we paid $440 for mediocre food and a bottle of wine. Service was average at best. This place used to be great but is no longer the case.
Always a fantastic time! Love the restaurant. We were sat next to the kitchen which is noisy. I made the reservation a month in advance. I wish they’d take that into consideration when placing people.
But other than that it’s always fantastic service and food!!! My favorite restaurant:)
Are server Cristy was friendly and provided great attentive service. I had the surf & surf & my friend had a lunch portion steak. Both were fabulous!! We had bourbon bread pudding for dessert. Would recommend that to all!
We had a group of 10 for lunch and everything was perfect
Excellent service, prompt, courteous. Food was delicious -- good portion sizes, menu was varied. Food was delivered promptly. A great experience,.
Menu was awesome (I wish the Maple Grove location had the same lunch offerings as I office there and would go there more often). Service was great!
Food, service, ambiance were all great. Glad we came - had never been here before. One disappointment: when I made the reservation via Open Table, I said it was for a special occasion - my wife's birthday - and I asked if she could get a special treat for dessert. Had lunch, and there was no birthday treat. I didn't say anything, as I didn't want to embarrass my wife or the waitress (who was great). Just disappointed - I thought this was the sort of thing Open Table facilitated, but someone dropped the ball.
Our party of 8 was given excellent service at lunch. We received drinks and fresh bread promptly. Our orders were mostly sandwiches and salads, and all items were fresh and tasty. I'd return for dinner with my husband
Sean was our server and was fantastic! Detailed orientated, attentive and personable! He made our dining experience special! Food was very good too!
My medium well steak was served to me medium rare - the happy hour oysters were charged to me full price. We prefer and will drive to the Maple Grove location
The food was delicious, the waiter was very attentive as was his assistant. Dessert was amazing!
Pittsburgh Blue is always good. You can't beat the quality of steak that they serve! It's our "go to" choice for special occasions.
The desserts could use a little work, however. They don't appear to be made in house.
Easter Brunch was outstanding!
We arrived early and were seated right away.....nice....our waitress Holly was terrific......food was just ok...some items were not warm ...some burnt....good selection however.....booths needed dusting really bad on the tops.....I showed Holly.....they have fruit fly problem...buzzing around our table the whole time....
Easter brunch was delicious. Our table was ready on time when we arrived. Waitress was very friendly and checked in with us periodically to see if we needed anything. As this was brunch, other staff removed plates timely allowing us room to return to the buffet and get more. Would definitely return again
Enjoyed a great Easter brunch.
Pittsburgh Blue is known for their great food. Brunch was a bust. Mediocre at best. The food was tasteless and the Salmon was rare as rare and even the bread pudding tasted like absolutely nothing. Incredible, I have never eaten anything In My life at a restaurant that literally had no taste.
The sausage was dry, the eggs runny, I wasn’t sure what I was eating in the potatoes but it claimed Corned Beef Hash.
As for the prime rib, nothing like you receive in the evenings.
Oh and I had to wait 15 minutes for a server. At 10:15 am there were maybe 6 people sitting near me
It is not worth the money. Disappointing Easter. For one person $55 with 2 drinks. Horrible!!!!!!!
Pittsburgh Blue always delivers a solid filet mignon. I got the bleu cheese crusted filet and my partner got a horseradish crusted filet. We both agreed that the horseradish won the day. Along with loaded mashed potatoes, asparagus with hollandaise, and a nice glass of wine, and great service, this was a winner in my book.
Average food with high prices. They use rolling carts to clear tables, which seemed a little out of place for a rather exepensive restaurant.
Eat here often. Tonight, however, wasn’t the usual pleasant experience. We had reservations, we were on time, the restaurant had lots of open seating, but we were given a table in the extreme back corner next to the exit and banquet room. The food wasn’t as good as usual either. Two orders of hash browns (the usual favorite for our party)were burnt to black on the bottom. One of the baked potatoes had a large brown, spoiled area inside when it was cut open. The service was rushed and chaotic (wrong items delivered, food for other tables was delivered to us, etc.). Then, all of a sudden, 2 bus people and our server swooped down on our table clearing everything including the meal one of us was still eating. Had to grab her plate back! Unfortunately I have found other Parasole restaurants in our area to be going downhill, I hope Pittsburg Blue will not follow the same path.
Excellent as always! Tried the turkey burger for the first time and it was had great flavor with a little kick.
All around great
Great as usual!
We have a great experience & service was awesome
Went to try the flower show features. I had the crab quiche. It was good, but could have used a side salad with it. Service was a bit slow and the waiter never checked back to see if we needed any further beverage service. Was good, not great for the money.
Very basic food for extraordinary prices. I’d rather go to Murray or Mannys.
It was fine. I just feel it’s so overpriced for what you get and there’s always a sense of disappointment when you don’t order a big entree but instead a salad or appetizer/salad combo. Maybe we’ve just had the same server each time and I get that sense. We asked for dressing on the side for our salad and it arrived with it on. They took it back and brought us the same salad with a side of dressing and said it is on the side. I didn’t want to argue but it was annoying. I know what a dressing-less salad tastes like. For $16 the calamari was very small. Anyway, we go for convenience to the Westin but always feel like it’s highway robbery eating at this place. So many good restaurants out there that are better and not exorbitant.
Food was excellent as always! Being close to both the mall walkway and the kitchen there is some noise, but nothing excessive to where it will take away from your experience. I would highly recommend this for an anniversary date or just a nice dinner out with your significant other. Service was excellent as well!
This is one of our favorite places to enjoy ourselves in the twin cities. The food is spectacular, service is second to none and management is engaging. The ambience allows for a dinner for two at the bar or a celebration with friends and family throughout the dining room. The team has an excellent grasp of how to create an experience their clients are in search of.
Went here on a busy Friday night. It was lively and fun. Server was very good and let my wife sample two cabernets.
Had a cheese sampler appetizer that was very good with dried fruit, olives, grapes and four nice cheeses - nothing too exotic but tasty.
Caesar salad was good but I felt the dressing wasn't quite as sharp and tangy as others I've had.
I ordered a bone-in New York strip that was outstanding. Medium rare with bleu cheese topping was perfect.
My wife had the petit filet mignon (6oz) and thought it was good but somewhat less spectacular than many she's had. Not quite as tender and flavorful. I'm thinking their normal filet might be a better cut and is heavily featured on the menu for $10 more.
Sides were green beans and "Pittsburgh Blue style" hash browns with bleu cheese, bacon, Tabasco. I thought they were outstanding.
Overall, we really enjoyed the meal, ambiance and service. We'd definitely go back.
