Two complaints, 1. We were seated next to the silverware and napkin cabinet, chatter and noise around that. There were other open table, booths. Should have said something right away and moved. Once we were down, decided to stay put. 2. Pistachio crusted walleye was way to crust heavy. No walleye flavor came through. Disappointed in that.
Great location. Loud but we managed to be at a table away from the bar. Our waiter was fabulous. My filet was excellent. Husbands porterhouse was good but certainly not the best he has ever had.
Very nice touch, brought a cake dessert for my husbands birthday celebration.
Was an excellent choice for my husbands birthday celebration.
Didn’t mike be seated in the back room
Food was decent but not incredible.
awesome And we would definitely return
Food is expensive. You get nothing extra not even a piece of bread. If your budget is unlimited it is nopt a bad place to eat.
The filets were odd shapes (not the nice think circular shape that you would expect) and the char on the outside of the steak was not appetizing. The bar was also backed up so when I ordered a glass of wine to go with my steak it didn't come out until I was finished eating. The sides were tasty and the crab legs were good.
Our waitress was amazing! She really made it a fun experience for us.
Our only negative (if you want to call it that) is that the food was really good, but for the price ($70 steak and $70 crab) it didn't WOW us. It was really good, but not amazing.
Saturday lunch with old friends - perfect. All of the entrees were beautiful and yummy, the Old Fashioned was strong, and the lemonade was refreshing. One of us ordered a hot fudge sundae with extra fudge, didn't need all of the ice cream but definitely ate all of the chocolate. Her eyes were twinkling.
Having only dined at Pittsburgh Blue for dinner, I wasn't sure about whether I would find lunch options that were lighter and healthier. We were pleasantly surprised by the large number of salads, soups and sandwiches including some combinations. I will order burrata any time I can find it on the menu and the salad with beets was very nice - though I would have preferred more burrata and less arugula. My dining partner had a great tasting french onion soup, salad and a very nice chicken salad sandwich. Our service was just outstanding. Pittsburgh Blue is also a solid choice for lunch.
Great service and fodd
The pistashio crusted Walleye was perfect for an alternative to a salad for lunch and Pitsburgh Blue did it perfect! House salad was crisp & cold. However, my lunch guest ordered the Seafood salad and was disappointed that the Shrimp were sliced vertically...very thin and only two but keep in mind two sliced in half! Other Seafood was sparse. For $21 the salad should have been more generous. with the Seafood items. There was plenty of the tomato, bacon but that is not why she ordered the salad. The service was excellent! I will still come back ...just not order the Seafood Salad!
The food in the environment were great as always. And the service was outstanding.
Our waitress was AMAZING!! However the food was average for the price we were paying. We would probably rather have gone to Manny’s.
Unfortunately, the steak at Pittsburgh Blue the last several times have been tough and chewy. As a higher end steak restaurant owned by Manny's, I would expect a lot better.
Food was okay ... both my husband and myself each had the petite filet which we were told was 6 oz. We always get the 6 oz filet as we are light eaters but this is by far the smallest 6 oz steak we have ever had and my husbands had gristle which we e never encountered before in a filet! The hash browns which are suppose to be a “specialty” were very greasy ... I’ve had lunch and happy hour at this restaurant and have never been a fan ... so, taking this restaurant off our list. I tried it again, as I was sure their dimmer would be much better than it was.
My first time there was not happy with food or service. Table next to us sent there food back also.
I can see no reason to return. Had hope for a better experience
The atmosphere wasn’t inviting and the host was very rude she seemed a little bit upset . The waiter was very nice and had good customer service skill. But the party next to us was very loud!!
Pittsburgh Blue is one of our absolute favorites. We dine in a few times a year. Recommend the prime rib.
The food was good but not worth the money in my opinion.
Celebrated with friends for lunch. We all had a variety of food options including the crab cake special.
Great Valentine's dinner!?
Very good food. My wife and I went for Valentine's day. Considering how packed the place was, we were pleasantly surprised at how fast our food arrived after ordering. They prepare the best ribeye steak I have ever had! Would definitely go back again. A bit on the spendy side but the quality is definitely there.
It was great! We loved Cindy.
Everything was wonderful!
Made a reservation for Valentines Day quite a bit ahead. We were disappointed to be seated in the back meeting room where the lights were very bright and you could not hear any music. It was so quiet and it resembled a hotel meeting room. We were seated next to a family with a couple of kids in high chairs throwing food on the ground. We asked to be moved but there wasn’t any seating in the main restaurant. Food was great and service was fine (although they kept bringing food to the wrong tables since it was overflow seating). Food was priced appropriately but wine by the glass was outrageous. Because they couldn’t guarantee a nice seat in the restaurant, we won’t be back for any special occasions.
The cowboy ribeye best ribeye I’ve eaten in a long time. Waitress forgot to put in our appetizer order but the food was delicious.
Food was great, the right type of romantic setting I was looking for. I’ll definitely be back
We’re fairly regular here but feel the quality of the food is slipping a bit. Not as hot as it could be and the steaks are just good, not great as the price and reputation would demand. Potatoes are just so-so but veggie sides and horseradish crusted salmon all delicious.
Good experience. Porterhouse for 2 and loaded mashed were awesome as was the calamari. We did a cheesecake to go and there was no crust. Very strange.
The environment was great and our server was excellent however my boyfriends food first came out like a piece of coal. When they brought it a second time it was chard on the outside raw on the inside! They compt than the next day my card was double charged!! Again service was great and maybe it was a bad night for them but as first time guest we won’t be going back.
Great server and customer service. Blue cheese crusted sirloin was out of this world. Cheese cake was great too!
This dinning experience was less than desired. The bread arrived with our entrees. There was a large very drunk party next to our table and the manager was no where to be found. Overall, the food is average and overpriced. The wine also was more expensive than most.
We were please with the whole experience from being greeted to paying our bill. Food, drinks, service excellent. We were there as a couple for a fun night out to dinner.
I eat here frequentlyandorderedtenderloitips and small salad. The salad had brown romaine and the beef was watery like it has been steamed and not seared. This is very unusual for you guys. Normally everything is perfect. This day it was way off.
The food was fantastic. Having crab legs cracked table side was amazing. Will definitely eat here again.
Great food and environment
