But maybe not!
To say the noise is energetic is incorrect. The level of the music is disruptive. People are talking over the music and over each other. It takes a great restaurant down a full star.
Lobster chowder was outstanding, half sandwich was a little lite but overall good. Service was top notch and would recommend for a business lunch or casual dining.
This was our first visit to this location and we will definitely return. Our service was exceptional and the food was very good. We enjoyed steak and lobster and the hash browns and creamed spinach were some of the tastiest we’ve had. We would have given five stars except my steak was a bit over cooked.
Our waitress seemed new and not very attentive to our table
I was so surprised that the service was so slow. Our waitress appologized a lot but got worse..so bad that she forgot to give me my AMEX back..I asked the manager for it. The bar had 5 older men who were very loud amd coarse yelling at each other.
The expensive food was only fair.I would not return.
Good food, Portions too big for a small group
Great meal! Every time I dine here the service is TOP NOTCH! Truly amazing. So knowledgeable, so kind, so great!!
Worst prime rib I’ve ever had. One big chewy piece of fat.
Everyone else enjoyed their meal
Would recommend a restaurant but not the prime rib.
Waitress was awesome
Everything was perfect. All guests received their food at the same time on a roll in cart. The service was excellent with a knowledgeable, attentive server. We were seated on time and the table was perfectly prepared. Quality and selection of entree's met each guest's expectations.
Server was less than adequate. Didn’t explain any specials to us, just laid the card down and said these are the specials. Hardly checked back and seemed put off to have another table. Salad was drenched in dressing and not even edible. Steak was extremely undercooked. Sent back and they literally put my cut-up steak back on the grill and then brought it back to me with a glob of horseradish on top, at which point it was now well done. Mushrooms were good. Had a delicious glass of wine-highly recommend the Thurston Wolfe Cab. Overall, Very disappointing for the price point and what you should expect at this establishment. I guess it is a chain, but still.
Great steak house, tuna tartar was excellent, steaks were done to perfection, great service, outstanding server!
Great food, great staff. Lots of fun. Expensive, but we expected that, and we’ll worth it occasionally.
Wife’s 50th birthday celebration with friends. Cindy did an amazing job
As always, another great dining experience.
Excellent service all around with food cooked as ordered. The activity level was high at the restaurant yet at a table of six we were able to have conversation with everyone. Very enjoyable experience.
Our waiter was awesome but I was disappointed in my top sirloin lunch. It was overcooked and tough. Minus our waiter, everyone else showed a side of being unprofessional.
We were crammed in a corner of a room with 2 large parties. It was noisy and I was literally sweating because of all the body heat. I had to get up and go outside to cool off, the rest of our table complained of the same thing. The food was decent but as a frequent visitor of other steakhouses I was slightly disappointed. The food was tasty but not worth being shoved in a corner with mediocre service since they were running around to accommodate the large tables. Also, I was offended by the 3% benefits surcharge, not because I am against helping people but because this place Is clearly thriving so why make your customers pay what you should be paying as an employer? As a small business owner I am responsible for my employees. If you want a great steakhouse experience skip PB and go to Jax or Wildfire. I have been to both Of these places in the past two weeks celebrating birthdays and my anniversary, they blow away PB in all areas! Wish I could give this place a better review!
I have been to Pittsburgh Blue many times before and it's always been good. This time they were extremely busy and overcrowded. Our food took longer than normal to come out and it was all barely warm. We must have just come on an off night this time.
Lunch with family. Food was very good with generous portions. Server was attentive and very. Knowledgeable.
Food is consistently very good. This is a great spot to grab a bite after shopping or a more “involved” dining experience. I have always had outstanding service.
The service was spectacular, our waitress seemed to know just when to show up, the food showed up in a timely manner, and was cooked to perfection. It is a little loud, but I will definitely go again
I really wanted to give 5 stars for everything. We made reservations and were sat immediately, however from what we gathered there was an error and we were sat at a table that wasn't assigned to any server's section. So there we sat for about 10 to 15 minutes with just water and a bread basket. Finally a server asked if anyone had serviced us and we responded 'no'. She was immediately understanding and apologetic, gave us complimentary beverages and took our orders immediately. 10 minutes later we had some of the best steak we've had in a while.
I would definitely recommend to others. Mistakes happen and I feel they handled the situation in the best way possible. Will definitely try there again.
Great steak and shrimo
They have the best steak salad I've had. And their cheesecake is fantastic.
Amazing server and service
Don’t typically come for lunch at PB. Did not care for the salad I had at all. Bland taste and chicken was dry and flavorless.
Loud and steak was mostly grizzle. Also random service charge was blzzare.
The experience lacked value. Staff was far more attentive to a large table. Seemed to be indifferent to our experience. Food was not exceptional and the overall meal was not memorable.
It was Saturday night. We had a 6:15 reservation and were shown to a table right away even though the place was packed! The service was outstanding and so was the food! The noise level was ok, my husband and I had no problem conversing. Nice upscale restaurant with a great wine list. A little pricey but we wanted to splurge and had a great experience!
Service great. Old fashioned great. Pecan crusted walleye - terrible. Soaked in butter and so heavy couldn’t eat it.
We had a great time celebrating birthdays! Steaks were delicious, service was Outstanding! Highly recommend.
It was excellent!! We will be back and recommend to friends!
Another wonderful dinner! We will continue to return to the Edina Pittsburg Blue for all of our family celebrations.
(As an aside, we will miss “Nick” terribly as he moves on to his new location, and wish him all the best)
We had a fabulous birthday brunch for our twin boys. We were given the private room - which was perfect! . Each of our entree's were delicious! Our waitress was very attentive, friendly and provided outstanding service. Then we were surprised with a birthday desert for each of our boys. We had a wonderful time. THANK YOU!
Typically good food, the service was at our last visit. I am not a fan of the new 3% employee service tax!!! I have also requested on the last 3 visits coordinated through open table not to be seated neat the loud kitchen due to my poor hearing, but my requests have been ignored..
Steak was mediocre. Lots of fat and grissel. Although cooked to perfection. Felt very rushed, bus boy was rushing us to get plates. Took my bread plate with bread still on it. For this price points many better options.
Everyone's meals were fantastic, my steak was a little over done, and dry. We've been a few times before, and I'd never been disappointed. Service was OUTSTANDING. We likened our waitress to the higher end Disney World restaurant service we get when we go down to Florida. She's a gem!
Great food, nice environment
One of our regular special dinner places. Love Pittsburgh Blue. Outstanding food & drink. Nice wine list. Our waiter Rob was very friendly and efficient.
Awesome service and food! Highly recommend :)
