Lovely quiet spot for dinner (or a drink at the very French bar) with delicious food. Excellent selection of apps, entrees and desserts. Always enjoy coming here.

My escargot was not garlicky at all and had these stupid hard croutons on top. They were also very small. My dorado was good as were the vegetables. Wine was entirely too expensive for a glass. My husband like his onion soup very much and his duck. My friend's tagine was awful. No taste, no sauces, just dry meatballs and couscous, no sauce and a tiny portion. I had read a few weeks ago that this place was really good, however, the last few reviews even by repeat consumers were terrible. I guess something changed in the kitchen. I'm sorry I didn't try it before but it was not a place I would return to.

Disappointed with food and level of service. Entree selection was not available even though we were there at 5:30. Food a bit salty and waiter was inattentive. Had to ask for things multiple times when other tables were served like bread and butter. We only got bread.

I started off with the Crab Cake appetizer which, in my opinion, had a flavor that did not resemble Crab Cake at all. I spoke to the manager about that and he said it was fresh, from a can. I said, no wonder I didn't recognize the flavor. The small plate main course was Tangine Lamb served over Eggplant. The Lamb was tasty, the Eggplant I felt had little flavor.

The restaurant did not appear to have an ac that can circulate the air that they had to resort to having their two windows opened. The weather that night was about mid 60’s. We ordered dessert. It took a while for the dessert to arrive that when it finally arrive the coffee was cold. It took a lot of waving to get the waitress attention to get our bill.

The food was fantastic and reasonably priced especially for NYC. My only complaint was that the seating in the outdoors garden area is a little crowded. However the food is worth a visit! The lamb was well-seasoned and tender. So was the short-ribs. The duck confit was excellent. The escargot and the tuna tartare and the ginger carrot soup were absolutely divine. The pot de creme was so creamy and rich but not overly heavy. We definitely will come back again.

Third time I've been here, first time with a date. I was with a picky eater, so choosing the right dish was crucial. Both had a glass of Dme la villaudiere Savuvigon Blanc which ended up being a great choice as it was bold &light with a tasty surprise for the wine connoisseur. As we chatted, we ate a charcuterie platter. Clearly an import since it taste reminded me of a boutique southern french shop, lovely. The crab cakes before our main course was tasty with tang. Made with zucchini spaghetti and lemon sauce, were perfect finger foods like the appetizer at venues. Luckily we found ourselves to be hungry and kept the pace with another import, pan seared branzino with olive oil and lemon sauce. Good dish by the house as most people eat it up since it is a Mediterranean fish. My imported meal(mostly) was delicious as the mood for the rest of night led to smooth night out. Great choice as you'll find the menu follow suit to more famous eatery.
