   Our server was very friendly but didn't check back other than after the initial check to see if our food was OK. We waited quite a while for our check and finally had to flag him down. The food was excellent and a very good value at happy hour. The only other thing that was bothersome was gnats flying around our food. We were inside but near the door to the patio.

   Food was just okay. Onion rings are awful, mushy and just weird. Drinks great but bar service very slow. Our server was as attentive as he could be but clearly hampered by bar and kitchen production. Not sure I’ll be back. Pizza very good though!!

   Great neighborhood restaurant with huge patio area. M-F happy hour has some great drink and food specials. Staff is great.

   I want to start off by saying, Pitch is not usually a bad experience so this was kind of out of the ordinary. The restaurant was clearly dealing with a large party on the patio that slowed things down but I would think you’re supposed to be better prepared for that and not give others a bad experience. Our service seemed to think it was no big deal. We brought a guest from out of town to our favorite spot and it took 30-45 minutes to get 3 drinks, it was almost an hour of being there before our order was taken for food, and the food took almost an hour itself. It would’ve been better if the restaurant took some responsibility but there weren’t many apologies. I’ve been in the restaurant industry myself and when you make others endure a bad experience, you try to make up for it if you want people to return.

    We had a great time at Pitch the outdoor seating was perfect and the food was prime quality with a twist of creativity. Loved everything about dinning at Pitch.
