Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with overhead awning and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

We were offended when our waitress switched off of our table with no explanation. The new waitress never asked how our food was or if we wanted anything else...which we did.
My husband enjoyed his hamburger and chicken salad (that he took home). As a vegetarian, the options were not very good. The arugula salad was weak...two cherry tomatoes cut in half and cheese on top of the greens...that was it for $13. How about a few more tomatoes and maybe some fruit/other veggies or bring down the cost and make it a light salad. More veggie options would be nice.
Fantastic. Our group of 6 had a wonderful dinner. Each one of raved about the quality of the food. I can speak to the steak au poivre, which was a great cut of meat with an incredible sauce. Not that one was needed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Excellent staff, ideal location, great food, and well worth a return visit.
We've eaten here many times for brunch before the theater. The food is usually good, the service fair.
I usually have an omelet, but decided to try something different this time. I ordered eggs benedict, a staple brunch item. One half muffin was burned, but with a perfectly cooked egg. The other muffin half was toasted properly, but the egg was totally overcooked, not one drop of delicious yolk ooze. So disappointing! I also ordered pommes frites, which were deliciously crispy, but must have been the last of the batch, most being one inch or less long.
Always have the octopus as an appetizer and never disappointed....... The Branzino was perfect......moist and well seasoned...... Did the special for desert.....Bananas Foster with Bread Pudding...... Not overly sweet and it was delicious...... Service was exceptional..... Always look forward to returning!
Not on a holiday! They had a brunch running until 3pm we showed up at 12:30 and they were already out of steak frites. We had to ask for bread, ask for butter later, ask for water, ask for refill of water. They asked us to place app, main course and desert order all together like a fast food place. When your paying about $300 for 3 people brunch the service should be impeccable and food as well. Thank god my mother in law and husbands dish was good because I ended up eating theirs as mine was not! Waitress never came to ask and she didn’t even notice I only had one bite of mine. Appetizers were very good and so was the filet and the 1 steak they were able to make for my mother in law. My short rib was a confused mash of flavors :/
Great way to celebrate Mother’s Day with a fabulous brunch! Everything was delicious!
Consistently great food, ambience is so good, wonderful wait staff. Our most favorite restaurant in this area!
Beautiful restaurant and beautiful experience! The lamb and beef stew was amazing! Loved the duck ravioli!!!
Good neighborhood spot and always guaranteed a good meal.
We really enjoyed our Sunday brunch. Service was excellent and food was very good.
Had no idea the Sunkist Festival was taking place across —turned a very nice restaurant into a bit of a zoo—if wanted dine with folks in tank tops and being loud I’d gone to the Irish bar down the street—food and service were great but leaving with a headache never a good experience
Not as crowded as usual, owing to nearby construction. A delightful place, conducive to talking.
We went to brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had a wonderful time. The food and service were excellent. We were not rushed at all. This was the second time I had been there and it never disappoints.
Great brunch. Have been here before but not for brunch. Delicious steak tar tar.
The food was delicious, especially the chicken & waffles! A little confusing getting there with all the toad construction....but worth it in the end.
Lovely place with food that's amazing. Definitely not your average WPB restaurant.
Food and service always excellent. This restaurant keeps getting better and. better.
Service was exceptional.Food was good slightly expensive.
Everyone had a wonderful time and had outstanding food
Very authentic bistro with excellent food well presented.
This is probably the 4th time at Pistache. One of the plus things about dining here is the view to the adjacent park and one of the minuses of dining here is the view to the adjacent park. There was an event at the park with loud (bad) music which made parking a pain and dining by the open window noisy. Cautionary tale when making reservations.
Now to the experience. Service is always attentive and this night was no exception. My friend and I enjoyed cocktails and both ordered steak frites. Prepared to our liking however the meat was grisly and not particularly tender.
The food was excellent! The waitress was friendly, attentive, and pleasant. We visited on a Tues eve the end of April and it was quite busy considering it's the end of the 'season', but locals know how wonderful Pistachio is so I believe it stays pretty busy all the time. The noise level was a little high, but I could still hear my guests over it.
I ordered the salad with feta cheese and ordered shrimp on top. I could not eat much of it because it was too salty.
Our friends and we look fir any excuse to go to Pistache! Our waiter Frank was a joy, providing excellent service with personality and a good sense of humor! As we had to convene early, it was a treat to have the restaurant to ourselves at 5:15. Each meal was perfection . As we head home to New Hampshire, one of the things we will miss greatly us Pistache. We shall likely spend our first evening in December right here at Pistache—the perfect start to The Season!
I was recently in Paris. Our visit to Pistache made me feel as if I were still there! It was a lovely, delicious and authentic experience. Look forward to going back to Pistache and trying other dishes next time - so many good things to choose from.
We enjoyed Easter Brunch at Pistache and it was wonderful. Pistache offers a fixed price three-course menu for Easter and the primary problem was picking just one item for each course. Everything looked appealing on the menu, and even more appealing as waiters carried the various dishes by our table. Our food was outstanding and our service was professional (knowledgeable, attentive and non-intrusive). It was a beautiful day, which highlighted the restaurant's ability to open its French doors. Overall, we had a great time and will be making reservations for next year.
went to Easter brunch and all was fine but the price was high ($75) for the overall quality/quantity. Perhaps if a cocktail/drink was included and/or if icecream also came along with the dessert choice (not as individual choice). Service was a bit slow in getting out the main course. I would not go back for Easter brunch at this price but would try them again for just a dinner as the entrees were good.
The food was great. Max, our server was very professional. Their wine selection by the glass is decent. The atmosphere is authentic to an old Parisian bistro. We will be back, definitely.
The best French restaurant in Palm Beach!!!!!
And, on Friday nights they have Jazz...
Never disappoints! One of my favorite places in downtown WPB.
Very good French bistro food. Pleasant surroundings. Good service.
I like Pistache. The food is consistently good, often creative and always satisfying. Service is also good.
First server was rude. Food was not as advertised. But the maitre 'd was very accommodating and got us a new server and the food that I'd ordered. Despite her excellent reprisal, I would not recommend this place.
The food is always good. Service was very slow. The kitchen can't seem to keep up on busy days, like before matinees at Palm Beach Drama Works.
Crowded due to proximity to curtain time at adjacent theater but staff handled it with a smile.
We looked forward to an enjoyable evening dining. . Very disappointed to have been seated in the bar facing three TV’s, and no other seats available.
Delicious food, although the fries (usually delicious) were extremely overcooked and tasted old. Service was slower than usual on the patio...I think our waiter forgot we were out there.
beef bourguignon Was wonderfully prepared. Parsnip soup a pleasant surprise. Waitress was very accommodating to our requests. A very pleasant dinner with friends.
