About Pistache French Bistro
PISTACHE is a Parisian-style French bistro with a Mediterranean twist. It serves simple, delicious meals made with fresh, local and imported products. It seats 180 people and is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with large umbrellas and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

Pistache French Bistro Ratings and Reviews
We went with another couple to celebrate my birthday. My husband started with the escargot.
He said it was as good as he has ever had. My friend and I shared the delicious burrata. I had the swordfish, Which was delicious, the others had coq a vin, and chicken. My husband had the Brussels sprouts as his entree and he raved about it! Will definitely return!
As always, the food was very good. The service was AWFUL!!!!
After our order was taken, our waiter vanished. We had asked for bread. None came to our table. We asked for refills on water. None came. I finally got up, took a carafe from a serving table and I refilled our glasses. People who arrived after us were being served.
We finally asked to see a manager and he assigned a different server who completed the service. I did something I have never done before. I left no tip.
We will return because the food is good and it is very convenient to the nearby theater. If the same waiter approaches to take our orders, we will request a different server.
Disappointing. Excellent service offset by 2 poor entrees. Both coq au vin and beef Bourgogne were sent back. Our waitress was most pleasant and accommodating and agreed with our decisions. Bread and butatta salads were very good. Our first visit a couple of years ago was very good.
We are Pistache devotees however there was some
Unusual delay in the kitchen which caused our
Pre-theater main courses to be delayed. Our waitress was excellent and the seating was especially light. Ordering main courses of steak tartare, salad, and sea bass should not have represented a challenge. Very unusual experience for our Clematis gen.
One of the best places I’ve been!! Every single dish was perfect and the service was impecable. The dishes were balanced and delicious, all of them!! Went for my girlfriends birthday and she loved it. Ate the duck and one of the steaks and couldn’t ask for anything more. All dishes where perfectly portioned and enjoyable. Would recommend to everyone!
I took my parents for Dinner at Pistache and the overall experience was good. The server did a great job . The food was good also, but not as exceptional as I had had when I dined there before. The steak tartare was great, as always (I had the large portion). The snapper was OK; the combination with the beans was not the most fortunate but the fish was cooked well. My father had the mahi-mahi special; good fish, again, but the cous cous (that is what i think it was) did not help matters. Dessert was great.
I had a table of 10, which 3 were late, but was handled very nicely. I have been there several times for lunch and thought it would be a great place to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, there was a marathon that weekend and it was very crowded and the noise level was very high, so the table was cut in half as far as being able to communicate with the other end.
The food was good, some dishes were outstanding and others were ok, but overall it was good. The service was spot on, the two young ladies that served us were there with every request so I could sit back and relax without worrying if one of my guests needed something.
I would go back in a heartbeat!!!
We were a party of 5- seated promptly on the outdoor patio. Used the sommelier for our wine selections who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Various food choices pleased everyone from pork short rib to venison ,swordfish and filet. Highly recommend this restaurant as a favorite go to with guests.
We enjoyed a lovely meal prior to attending a musical at the Kravis Center. Our server, Marco, was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. My wife commenced with the shrimp cocktail that included four large shrimp (I helped her with the fourth) and then had the autumn squash salad as her mail course. Her meal was nicely complimented by a Riesling wine from Germany. I ordered the steak frite, which was simply fabulous. Then for dessert we shared a rich crime brûlée and decaf coffee that was scrumptious. We both look forward to our next visit to Pistache when we can sample some other items on the menu. Our meal by the way was a much more pleasant experience than the current outrageous musical at the Kravis.
Ordered the argentine special meat platter, 90 percent was chicken. The cheese plate was ok, though like everything else very expensive. The cheese plate arrived on time but on a relatively slow night there was a 30 month delay from when we finished the cheese plate and when the meat platter arrived, also they other entrees arrived about 15 mins before the meat platter. Waiter was a tall bald man who was knowledgeable enough but seemed angry towards me when I pointed out he dropped the ball on how long the food was taking and he suggested that it hadn’t been long. Bar tender named Vincent was Awesome though. This place isn’t fine dining, they just charge that level of prices
The last visit we had in October was... and I can not lie... so much better than the visit we had on 11.18.2017. This will not stop us from returning but it will be awhile before we do so. Service was not up to par and as a whole left us a lil bummed about this dining experiance.
My friend an i, drove from Jupiter, fl, to celebrate a birthday and also to watch the tango show I've made reservations, 3 weeks prior!
The bartender, Vincent the French gentleman was very nice and professional!
Also Alexa the hostess, very very nice!!
The same for the service from the bread server to our fine server!!!
The tango show was awful it lack professionalism, dance, music, etc just bad, not to mention that we waited almost 3 hours, because they were running late, since they drove from Miami, and they didn't leave with enough time to aloud for traffic!!! we watch two performances, and they were so bad we left.
The manager Philip a true gentleman very accommodating, generous with a great sense of humor. I will return for the food, not a show!!!
We love Pistache for any reason, but we went this last time to celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau. The menu has a variety of choices. My husband had the filetau poivre and I had the Bell & Evans chicken breast which was fabulous - bone in and pan roasted with a variety of small veggies and small potatoes dauphine. Alex, our server, was excellent and we enjoyed our dinner very much.
