About Pistache French Bistro
PISTACHE is a Parisian-style French bistro with a Mediterranean twist. It serves simple, delicious meals made with fresh, local and imported products. It seats 180 people and is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with large umbrellas and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

Pistache French Bistro Ratings and Reviews
First, it is a beautifully decorated restaurant in a very central location in West Palm. Our restaurant visit was on a Saturday afternoon and we were unaware of the immense traffic in the area. Something to avoid if you do not like to search for 30 minutes for parking. The hostess was polite and seated us at once. Server showed up first very quickly and served us water. After that things did not go so well. Our “Albanian” waitress who came back after 15 minutes became suddenly a lecturer how we should order our food. Instead of showing patience and suggesting some specials in depth, being aware that we had two minor kids with us, she made us feel being a nuisance , told us that we obviously need more time to decide! That was her and not us! She vanished again. We were not too happy and asked for the manager. He soon came over and we asked him to get us a different server which he did. When the other waitress came over and finally took our order, we started to get kind of amused about the “weird” service we were getting in this place. The main reason why we came to this place really became secondary by now.
Hello, we came to have a enjoyable lunch with our friends. Food was alright, nothing really extraordinarily but still quite good.
I got hit by another surprise when I noticed that the kids meals were charged full price. Oh boy, sorry , but there are better choices to have a pleasant, yummy meal without having unprofessional serves around you.
Great dinner. Great Service. Menu was extensive and creative. Were were four the table and we all had different things and each tasted each others dishes. Each one was a winner. Service was lovely, attentive but understated. All in all a fabulous restaurant . Highly recommend.
Food, service and ambiance were all excellent. We each ordered a different fish dish. Both the Mahi special that night and my sword fish were delicious. The presentation was lovely to look at and the flavors were great. Our waitress was excellent, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the food. Highly recommended.
We were seated right away but next to a large table of people. Hard to hear my wife sitting right next to me.
The food was great. Service was slow and distracted by two other tables with large groups. Too sad.
Our table was in a corner booth which should have been good. The wine was good but expensive.
Wonderful french food. Fish and other entrees looked good as well. The best Coq au Vin I've had outide of Paris! The short ribs were also terrific over this amazing rice. Oh forgot, the charcuterie platter appetizer was really tasty. Lastly the chocolate mousse was incredible as was the creme brulee. The owner came by to check - which I love! He is very French. Lovely evening with a terrific server.
I’m torn. Whoever heard of a French restaurant not being able to whip up some sautéed onions? Right, me either! This was a pre-theatre meal which also celebrated 2 birthdays within a few days of one another. Two of us had the small plate risotto which was really very good, accompanied by “pomme frites” that weren’t as crisp as one expects pommes frites to be and were actually a bit “soggy”; 1 of us went the Mahi-Mahi which was really delicious but was conspicuously “petite” and should have been designated a “small plate” finally, the hamburger eater had the hamburger, despite a request for Sautéed onions, the kitchen simply couldn’t be accommodating . A good bottle of Pinot to wash it all down & we were off to see the show. Not the best first impression & management should remember that around City Place there’s plenty of restaurants to choose from for what we paid. In too much of a hurry to get to the theatre to take photos; poor parking also didn’t help 😏
Love this restaurant. My friend took me there for lunch and knew I wanted to go back for dinner, so last night it was. Enjoyed drinks at the bar with a nice happy hour 2:1. If we lived in the neighborhood we would frequent just for well-made drinks and charcuterie plates. Joy, our server, was great, kept things moving. Food is classic bistro style; soups are excellent and interesting. When I was here for lunch I had the Salmon and was planning on enjoying again but the Bolognese with spatiezl-like pasta and poached egg called to both my friend and me. EXcellent! My husband went with the salmon and our other friend had classic Coq a vin which he said was really delicious. Forgot to mention the Bread and Frites. Super! Desserts we classic and we had 4 different - all good. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing meal and wished we didn't live 40 min away - but maybe that's a good thing as I can't eat like that too often!!!
Make a plan to go to this little taste of Paris casual style and great food. Outdoor patio seating is nice option when weather permits, inside is inviting and cozy.
