PISTACHE is a Parisian-style French bistro with a Mediterranean twist. It serves simple, delicious meals made with fresh, local and imported products. It seats 180 people and is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with large umbrellas and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

So disappointing. We have dined at Pistache before and had a good experience. However, this time the restaurant was busy and we had to wait to order drinks and the food service itself was slow. Do not recommend the beef bourgenoine. It was undercooked and quite tough. Needed a knife to cut the meat and it was chewy and tough. Not sure of the cut of beef used, but it wasn’t the proper cut. We have experienced better French cuisine in the area and will go there in future.

This was our second time eating at Pistache. We had a very pleasant lunch experience and the staff and service were outstanding! The food was perfect. We definitely would return and we would recommend to others.

We go there often because it is very handy to the Palm Beach Dramaworks. The food is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. It took 35 minutes to be served our lunches, even though we had told our server when we were seated that we had theater tickets.
No bread was offered, even though one of our group ordered a salad. We could see the bread station from our table.
Water glasses were refilled once when we called the server over to see about our meals. Later, one of our group got up and refilled our glasses.
We will go back again because of it's proximity to the theater and one of our group can't walk long distances.
We've had service issues before and management doesn't seem to care. This time I believe the problem was mostly with the kitchen.

It was my wife’s bday. I mentioned that on the reservation. No acknowledgement by anyone.
I wasn’t looking for FREE anything, just a little acknowledgement .
Specials are dropped off at the table, no presenting.
Our server smiled and was pleasant. Wrinkled shirt. No other staff smiles throughout the visit.
Due to a live event outside, the noise level lessened the experience .
The place is beautiful and the menu is great. The sweetbreads were fantastic, bread was good, all the dishes were good. I expected great.
I ordered two glasses of the sparkling rose and was mistakenly charged $37 each and had to ask to correct it.
Water was always refilled timely.
Probably short staffed for the level of business and for this wonderful place.
I’m happy to pay for a great dining experience, just not for what seemed taken for granted.
It’s hard to have that grand opening feel and energy day to day. The overall feel was low energy, low enthusiasm, low passion.
Please take this as constructive. I want to come back and enjoy it again, just may be a long time until I do.

We had a wonderful dinner with family and friends at Pistache French Bistro and enjoyed every minute of it. Each of us had a different entree and all were delicious? The Steak Frites was tender and perfectly prepared, I had the Salmon entree and it was out of this world delicious too. My friend said the Veal Sweetbreads were the best he ever tasted and the Beef
Bourguignon was awesome. For dessert, we loved the Creme Brûlée and Mousse Au Chocolat.
All the wait staff were very friendly and accommodating.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant it to anyone who enjoys perfectly prepared French food and wonderful Vintage Wines.

By far, the best French Bistro in South Florida. The food was scrumptious. I had the beet salad to begin, and my friend enjoyed the appetizer portion of the mussels. We both had Steak Frites. Steak was perfect, tender and most delicious, and the fries, oh those fries, were world class. Very French...very good.
Alec was our server, and was very attentive. His concern about my gluten allergy was amazingly sincere. I’m very appreciative.

This was our first visit to Pistache. We took the Brightline train from Fort Lauderdale and spent the day in the neighborhood. Our dinner reservations were for 5:00pm because we had an early train home. Unfortunately, the dinner menu doesn’t start until 5:30pm (hard to understand how you can make reservation for 5:00pm when they don’t serve until 5:30). Nevertheless, we went to the bar and had drinks and ordered from the bar menu since it was happy hour. We had the mussels, truffle mac and cheese, and the risotto. All were well prepared and delicious. The bartender, Shawn, was very attendant and kept our glasses full. Great guy. Although we were disappointed not to have a full dinner, our experience was great and we are looking forward to going back for a full experience.

We had an awesome dinner. We sat outside at acquaint table for two. The server was a kind young French woman which added to the ambiance. The food was delicious. I had the mahi special prepared Indian style. It was outstanding. My husband hand had the onion soup (“probably the best” he’s had) and the lamb shank. He was very pleased with his choices. Everything was presented beautifully as well. We will definitely be back.

Creative menu with excellent preparation and wonderful taste. Portions are generous, you could easily split both a salad and an entree (split plate charge). The best idea is to order different entrees and then share. We ordered one special entree and one menu entree with a shared salad. Service was very good but not great. Cocktails were pricey, but adequate. Our pre theatre favorite restaurant.

Pistache is handy to the playhouse and the staff is very attentive and advise which selections would be good to get you out in time. The food is provencial French with creative combinations of accompaniments and pleasant presentation.
The lobster bisque was a bit salty and the roasted lamb was a bit over-herbed and over salted. However, the flavor of the lamb came through really well; I would be glad to have just the lamb without the the accompaniments it was so good.
All was very good but they should ease up on the shaker of salt for my tastes.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant during our annual vacation to Florida and now make sure we always dine here at least once during our week away. Old world ambience, excellent menu (escargot!) and romantic environment. If you want a quiet experience we would recommend NOT dining on Thursday evening when Clematis St. hosts a street festival, including an outdoor concert across the street from the restaurant.
