About Pistache French Bistro
PISTACHE is a Parisian-style French bistro with a Mediterranean twist. It serves simple, delicious meals made with fresh, local and imported products. It seats 180 people and is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with large umbrellas and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

Pistache French Bistro Ratings and Reviews
Valentine's day... So I had a 7:30 reservation and believe it or not I fell asleep at 6. My date texted me at 6:45 and I woke up and called Pistache to tell them I fell asleep and was going to be late... They said it wasn't a problem. Got there about 8... It wasn't a problem... They were busy.. Still honored my reservation. Great food.. Great night. Very happy.
About the best restaurant meal I have had since we moved to Florida 2 years ago from NYC. We went for lunch. I had the steak tartare and my friend had the mussels both of which which were excellent. The ambience was good , the tables were not crowded together and the noise level was acceptable. The menu was varied and more interesing than the ususal fare.
The vodka gimlet was generous.
The overall experience was good, not great. I ordered a lavender martini and when I mentioned to our waiter that it was not what I expected he did not pick up on the implication and offer me another drink, which any seasoned waitperson would do. We asked him if he would light the candle on our table and he said of course. We never saw him again. The food was good, a little under seasoned. We never ordered dessert because we waited too long and it was not offered to us. I did not leave a good gratuity and we have no plans to return. My opinion is they should know better and pay better attention. There’s a lot of competition out there.
We have been to Pistache often fir lunch and dinner, had not gone to brunch until today. Not surprisingly, each of us was thrilled with our choices: salmon tartar, omelette, one selects the 3 elements one desires and the special omelette of the day—crab meat omelette !!! And being that we chose the 11 AM seating, we enjoyed the freshest baked bread which is always offered and never refused!
There was a small combo playing, which caused us to seek a table on the back area as we did not wish to compete with music fir our conversation. We enjoyed the music that drifted toward us, but it seems to never fail at any restaurant offering jazz or other live music that ease of conversation suffers. That said, we would return for bunch “on a New York minute”!!
As ever, the food and service were superb, however, tonight we felt the restaurant seemed noisy . Perhaps it was because we were seated against a wall and by the glass window by the outdoor patio, where we might have been receiving /retaining ambient sound from the restaurant in front of us. When we return in Friday night, we will ask to be seated elsewhere. Let me say that noise has never before been an issue!
We love dining here!
We went forSunday brunch but it was spoiled by a very loud trio playing very loud music. Because of this, it was difficult to hear or be heard. A pianist would have worked better in this venue.
The food was delicious, but the wait staff left much to be desired. The waiter mixed up the orders and someone who was very specific about not wanting a pork dish was served said dish, much to her consternation.
When the mistake was pointed out the waiter assured our friend that it was the dish he had ordered, when in reality he had no idea.
The manager handled the situation with much aplomb and graciousness, a bad situation was saved from becoming a terrible one.
I would return to this restaurant because of its location and delicious food. Hopefully the wait staff will be trained a little better.
Cool restaurant in a great location. It had an authentic feel like a typical French cafe. The food is not necessarily fancy or gourmet but nonetheless, everything was delicious. I tasted my boyfriend's French onion soup and it was probably the best one I've ever had.
Our first visit this year, in fact since New Years Eve 2016/17, the food was just excellent I started with the crab meat salad and followed with the black grouper special of the evening which was just delicious. My wife just had the one course of Moules with frites which was a generous portion and the sauce was very tasty. Marco our Server was just spot on we enjoyed our evening very much
Arriving a little early we were promptly seated. While somewhat busy service was prompt and efficient. Our waitress actually listened to our questions and gave us very professional answers and suggestions. Rather than having a full meal we had a selection of what the restaurant calls small plates. They are perfect for sampling and gave the four of us an opportunity to try several plates. Authentically French in preparation I (we) would suggest this restaurant for an evening out. Not a quick bite or a hurried meal.
Excellent restaurant. We were visiting Palm Beach and prefer a French Bistro to eat dinner at. This restaurant completely met our expectations for food and service. Just like in Paris or good Bistros in Washington DC and NYC. My dinner partner considered her steak one of the best she has been served. I had "Steak Frites" and it was excellent. So were the Escargot! Dessert menu had the traditional items. Overall, we would certainly go back.
The restaurant decor was great, the ambiance was lovely. Jazz music was on point and the musicians seems to be enjoying themselves. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon brunch and the waiter was attentive to our needs.
Then... the food came. The brunch I had was mediocre at best. Omelette was plain and hash-browns tasted like they were once frozen. I will have to consider all the positives before I go back. Not sure I want another mediocre meal despite good service and entertainment..
