Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with overhead awning and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

Food is delicious. Decor is beautiful. Service very attentive
I think if our server had a personality or acted like he cared when they made a mistake with an appetizer and if he had checked on us to see how our meal was so I didn’t have a wave him down to tell him my fish was undercooked, it might have been a more pleasant experience. Never apologized about either and had a could care less attitude. We loved the ambiance & 2 of 4 entree’s were excellent. I wouldn’t go back with all the other great restaurants in West Palm.
This has been my favorite reataurant for a long time: excellent French food, great service every time. This time I had the coq au vin, which was excellent as always
Great food — especially the mussels — and service.
Great evening as always. Our favorite upscale restaurant in West Palm Beach.
Good food, great wine offerings and 1/2 price wine specials make this one of my favorites
There is a tent set up outside which worked wonderfully for us at this time. The menu choices, from small plates to entreees were excellent. My husband loved his onion soup and my son and I both had the duck for our main dish which we loved. We had not been there for quite awhile before this time, but will remember to go back again quite soon.
Everything was perfectly acceptable in this new normal. Thank you for doing your part as a Restaurant and making us feel comfortable
Nice atmosphere sitting outside and service was excellent. Food was as excellent. I had the filet which was perfectly done. My wife had the Brussels sprouts and said some the best she has had. We will return.
Once again a great experience at Pistache during the pandemic. We feel very comfortable with the capacity limiting measures and other safety protocols in place. The food is also outstanding. We took advantage of the daily happy hour and had 2 small plates and two drinks each then moved on to some entrees. The escargot was great and the risotto appetizer was really filling. Hubby had chicken with a nice arugula salad and I did the burger. The portions were very large and we each took more than half home!
Had an open table reservation but they forgot to write pit down
Excellent night out. Service is a little slow, but the food is great! Very good wine selection with a really good menu with lots of great options.
A nice evening with a few hiccups. Waitstaff was friendly and hustled to correct mistakes. The outside table was great, but the food was not as good as it usually is. Chalk it up to a busy night.
Food was spectacular as well as the service. Highly recommend to anyone!
We were a party of four & each of us ordered different entrees & different desserts. The verdict of each was the same: excellent food & excellent service by our waiter, JP.
Can’t wait to go back!! Our waitress was wonderful!!
This was our 5th time dining at Pastiche in 2 months. We chose this restaurant which has ample outdoor dining & nice lighting to reunite with 3 old friends for the first time in years. Everyone loved the food. Zucchini blossoms, ris de veau, escargot, rabbit ravioli, risotto, coq au vin, fillet minion & frittes, were all perfectly delicious. My friend was impressed they serve profiteroles. It was late on a humid, rainy night so they weren’t as crisp as he had hoped but still good. Bravo to Pastiche for consistently serving nicely prepared dishes. Our dinner took a long time coming to the table so we finished late. Robby the manager was pacing a bit as we closed down the restaurant...
Rabbit ravioli was tasty but duck breast was poor, my wife commented that my French onion soup has much more depth and her filet of beef was average. Service was only average with long waits.
Just great! Food and service excellent...
Nice atmosphere, the food was flavorful with different combinations, and the staff was friendly
Pistache did an excellent job with Valentine's Day prix-fix dinner. The three course meal (app, entree and dessert) offered some excellent choices in each categorty.
My girlfriend's French onion soup was rich and flavorful, while my Salmon tartar was an exceptional dish, light, sharp and tangy, totally delicious.
Her steak au poivre was nicely crusted with peppercorns, although the waiter indicated the sauce was black peppers rather the best option of green peppercorns. The filet was too pink for having been ordered as medium rare, but better too rare than overdone, and it was a big enough serving that she took half home, so it will be better when warmed up again. My pan roasted duck entree was good, not great (no crispy duck skin to relish), and one of the pieces of meat was very veiny, difficult to cut or chew, but sides of savory wild rice and crispy pea pods improved the overall appeal.
The desserts were both outstanding, her chocolate mousse with dark chocolate base layer and cherry filling, and my chocloate orange bread pudding.
The service was mixed. When a gust of wind at our outdoor table knocked over a glass of wine, a small army of waiters rushed to clean up the glass and wine, replace the table cloth and provide all new set up. But later in the meal, the waiter seemed to lose us, as we sat nearly 15 mins after finishing the meal before he noticed and brought us the check.
The outdoor seating arrangement was both comfortable and seeming safe with good spacing from other tables.
My girlfriend got a chance to put on a pretty dress, and she looked spectacular.
There was numerous highlites during the meal, and obvious effort on the part of the chef and restaurant management to make a special evening for their diners. Overall, a very enjoyable evening. I'd definitely go back!
Brunch on Valentines Day
Our cocktails & meals were great
Cappuccino was excellent
Suggestion : use your baguette bread on your smoked salmon platter instead of the bagel !!!!
We loved everything about this restaurant. The drinks, French onion soup and entrees were amazing. Great service at the bar and table as well!!
We sat at the bar. Only one bartender for a busy restaurant. The bartender still took good care of us and provided prompt professional service.
I had the salmon and my girlfriend had the sweetbreads, both were outstanding.
Great restaurant just a little noisy.
Excellent service and an absolutely delicious dinner!!!!
Ate outside and it was beautiful and comfortable. Food was delicious!
My wife and I visited Pistache for the first time Wednesday evening and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Jean Paul, was excellent, and really enhanced our experience. The food was excellent and the wine list had plenty of selections.
On a related note, that area of downtown West Palm Beach is lovely with lots of action and options.
Pistache in West Palm Beach never disappoints. It is a true gem in the heart of WPB. The mussels are not to be missed whether you choose the appetizer or entree portion. We are not sure how the chef makes that delicious broth, but I have never had better. The arugala salad is another exceptional starter. Love the salmon entree as well as the coq au vin. Ending with profiteroles is a must. This is our favorite French Bistro Restaurant in FL.
Was there for the Fondue special, delicious!! And the starter of black truffled capellini was outrageously good!
Pistache French Bistro was excellent as always! Loved it.
My wife and I ate here for lunch on our anniversary. We had the Arugula & Parmesan salad which was fresh but nothing special. We also had the Black Grouper, which was very special and highly recommended. For dessert, we had the chocolate mousse. It was fantastic and the perfect size for two people. Service was exceptional. We will be back soon.
The hostess at the front was extremely rude. I was 45 minutes early for my reservation and was told to wait till my reservation time. I would have understood if the restaurant was full but it was not. I was then told to wait 15 minutes. This entire time there were 4+ tables open. I then asked if I could sit at a specific table but was told (by the same rude hostess) no, because it was on hold for a larger party. Was finally seated after walking up for a third time after waiting longer than 15 minutes. Then a party of the exact same size was seated in the table I asked to be seated at. Overall the Hostess gave us such a nasty attitude and tone of voice from the moment we arrived. To think that’s the face of the restaurant. There was a moment where we almost left just from the sheer rudeness. Thank goodness she wasn’t the server, because if she was I would have gotten up and left. Overall, the food was okay. I don’t think I will be returning to this restaurant.
Had a lovely dinner with friends. We ate outside in one of the street side tents so it was interesting people watching and beautiful weather. Everything was very good and so was the service. Very attentive. They had a truffle capellini special which was amazing. Definitely will go back.
We had a reservation indoors but were seated outdoors as they run out of tables indoor, in spite of having a reservation. Food was good, except one of our party good a severe indigestion. We all had different plates. Desserts not so good. Waiter was very good, although I hate when they include a 20% tip and underline it with a marker
As always the service was excellent and the food very good.
Great food & fantastic service
The food was excellent . Plated beautifully and delicious.
Escargot, Pate, mussels, swordfish, black grouper, all excellent. A bit of confusion and delay in kitchen with appetizers but a lover experience was great.
As always, great atmosphere and great service and food.
Always a favorite. Delicious food, great service, and Covid careful.
