Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with overhead awning and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

Excellent foof snd service.
VISITED MANY TIMES ALWAYS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. WILL RETURN
This turned out to be a great place to take my 94 year old mother for brunch on Sunday. They had good seating for her and the service was very respectful. The food was very good French bistro style, with a reasonable selection of both breakfast and lunch items. The desserts were for the most part very good, but the chocolate cake was disappointing. The only issue was getting there. The streets of the entire shopping district are being redone and the driving and parking for someone not knowing the area was a complete hassle. I think the restaurant should be warning patrons with advance reservations about this and giving guidance about where to park.
Had a fantastic meal there with my Wife this past weekend. The charcuterie and cheese selection of Pate, smoked duck breast and Comte was perfect as an appetizer. My wife selected from one of the specials of the day and I had the Mahi Mahi. It did not disappoint. Our waiter was excellent as well and was apparently French which was a nice touch. We will return, this is one of our favorites.
lovely upscale French restaurant with a happening vibe. construction in downtown area but can valet park or park at Banyan garage entering on Banyan side.
Christian and other managers coming around to assure your comfort. Worked quite well if you go to PB Dramaworks up the block.
bogo buy still going on if order before 6:30pm which is a steal, but lovely at any price! Enjoy!
Always one of my favorites! It’s the kind of restaurant that delivers the best in West Palm Beach.
This must be our 10th visit more or less and Sunday brunch was just wonderful. The menu options were quite varied, the St. Germain carafe was delicious and the quiche special although small in size was very tasty. Pistache always delivers a great package: great food, wonderful service and reasonable prices!
We have been dining here for years. The food and service are always 5 stars.
Don’t miss this place!
Good and service are consistently great. Hopefully the construction going on around the neighborhood will end soon.
Great service. Food very good. French onion soup terrific. Salmon also very good. Sat on the porch and it was very nice.
Only negative is the construction work the city is doing in the area makes access a little hard. Should be complete in couple of months
Great food like always!
Food is always great. The service was a bit slow because we were beside a table with a lady that was apparently dating one of the chefs. Our server was busy dancing attendance to these women and we had to flag her over if we needed anything. My steak was very undercooked but as the server didn’t deliver it or come to check on us for nearly half an hour, I just ate it. I do wish there had been more on the St Tropez menu. The cake was very dry.
We celebrated my daughter's birthday recently at Pistache and had a wonderful time! Our server, Teresa, was wonderful and very accommodating. She took photos for us, set up the cake with candles, made sure not to rush us, and overall just took good care of us! We love Pistache and strongly recommend it !
We went for a special st tropez always excellent but this time no band. But great food as usual
We used the Flavor Palm Beach menu. Food was very good, but I didn't think the price was any particular bargain. Escargots are quite good.
Always love coming to this restaurant!
Our server was terrific. Not only responsive but anticipated our needs. Food was good.
not good. Steak was not a NY Strip. $19 cheicken now $26. Waitress smelled of smoke
Great service, delicious food-prefix menu makes sense!
The food at Pistache was excellent. The wait staff was good and attentive. The only problem, and it has nothing to do with the restaurant, is the construction going on outside. we live in Fort Lauderdale, and we will be back.
Food was great, but service was terrible. Server tried to upsell wine and then brought out our choice after fifteen minutes of waiting. Food took a while to arrive, too. Had to ask for more bread and water. Expensive meal for the type of service received. Better to come at happy hour for their deals and sit at the bar.
It’s been too long! I have always eaten well here but having moved to Delray I don’t come as often as I used to hadn’t been here in approximately a year and a half. It’s still great. My date raved about her dish and I thoroughly enjoyed my coqauvin. And, of course, the bread was as good as ever and the espresso at the end was perfect. Service was friendly and attentive and you don’t need to take out a bank loan to pay the check. It continues to be one of my favorites.
Very pleasant experience. We opted to do the Prix Fixe menu which was not offered to us, but I had done my research beforehand and was aware of the deal. I found it strange that they were trying to hide the flavor of palm beach event that allows individuals to purchase items at a reasonable price. Overall the food was delicious
Start to finish!
One of our favorite restaurants. Food always great
As always, Eva was wonderful and the food was delicious! Pistache never disappoints and worth the minimal construction inconvenience downtown. Fantastique!
One of the best Sunday brunches ever. First time there, but certainly not the last. What a wonderful restaurant. Eggs benedict with REAL hollandaise sauce. Cocktails with actual liquor in them and a wonderful, attentive staff. Eva, our server, provided exceptional service with a pleasant personality and a great sense of humor.
They had live Spanish music... and combined with the general ambiance and the delicious food it made for a wonderful evening!
A night in Madrid turned out to be a night in Hell!! Misleading in advertising Paella that was Not!! what paella should be like and very limited menu !! service Not good either!! Too noisy and could Not hear the guitar players from the room we were seated in even though I requested a quiet table or booth when i reserved the table !! very disappointed in the whole experience! downtown West Palm Beach streets are all broken up and had no easy access to the restaurant and we were not advised about valet parking !! One of our party walks with a cane ... the other is hearing impaired!! needless to say... it was a terrible evening!
We arrive for our reservation at the restaurant after 10 minutes waiting the waiter came and told us that the special of the day was buy one entree and get one free
So we did
I ordered the paella which was the worse paella i ever ate ,the rice was over cooked and i almost broke my tooth on it
We received no attention not even a refill on water . I complain to the waiter but he did not care
When i got the check i noticed there was a 20 percent tip added to the bill and when i asked about that the manager replied that it was because of the promotion which was the price of the dish . So no discount was given and the tip of 20 percent was a scam , beware of that !
I am from france and this is the worse experience going to a french restaurant that is over priced .dont let them foul you like they did to me .
There were 3 of us meeting for lunch this past Saturday,
The food and the service was good. The French onion soup was delicious as we the croque monsieur’s. One person got the mussels and wasn’t thrilled. They were small and several were empty. We had no room left for dessert.
The issue we had was the parking. Since Clematis Street is totally torn up, we were told they had complimentary valet parking near the restaurant for Clematis St. We found the big sign that said VALET CLEMATIS STREET PARKING so we pulled up and was told it was $10! The hostess at the restaurant (who was also our server) told us we parked at the wrong valet. Since it was totally confusing, we asked her to validate for us and she refused. We asked to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, the manager never came to our table. Very disappointing!
I imagine because of Clematis being such a mess, it’s keeping patrons away. The restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday.
I can’t see going back there, at least until the construction is completed.
I also suggest that if your customers ask to speak to a manager, you send the manager over.
Great food as always
We ordered a lot of food and everything came out perfectly! Fantastic service too!
An absolute fine dining experience! We definitely will visit again.
Coq au vin was a little salty with the bacon chunks included. Other chicken dishes were very good. Server was excellent. Overall, atmosphere was nice. A terrific evening.
Menu needs to be refreshed. It hasn't changed in what seems like forever. Enjoy Pistache, but looking for something different on the menu.
Got sick off the food. Low quality ingredients and preparation. Spent all night up with stomach pains after eating here.
Cocktails are mediocre as is the service. The waitress added a 20 percent tip for herself too. Probably would have come out similar but small annoyance to add to the much larger problems with this restaurant.
My husband and I have been going to Pistache almost every year for our Anniversary. Every visit has been wonderful and romantic thanks to the great service. Marco was delightful and had a great sense of humor. Our entrées were delicious and every bite was better than the last. We’re looking forward to our next visit
