A waiter, Maria, was outstanding! We love it here and always have great service.
Delicious food and excellent customer service. Great environment.
Absolutely incredible meal with friends—we split some ceviche, apps (tostones, empanadas, scallops). The food was delicious and Geraldo, our server, took excellent care of us. Would definitely recommend the pisco flight and will plan to come back again soon. 100% recomendable
Our experience was amazing. The food was superb as well as the service. I look forward to returning.
This is the best happy hour that you will find in DC and has the best manager you will find anywhere (Jose)! Love this place!! Great food and drinks❤️
Great value and excellent food with the lunch menu. Service was adequate and fast.
Always good. Always consistent. Great ceviche. Vibrant bar/happy hour scene.
We had the most amazing waiter, Raul. He was so professional and accommodating when I mentioned I have Celiacs disease and other food sensitivities. I felt completely safe eating there knowing that they were prioritizing my health and experience at their restaurant. We ordered the traditional ceviche and sangria and it was delicious!! Thank you Raul!!
Amazing food quality and reasonably priced. Awesome vibe and ambiance.
Best dining experience in DC. Food was amazing, prices were fair, and the service was outstanding. Sara was so attentive, she provided us with everything plus more. She truly made the dining experience above and beyond what we could ask for.
Incredible and attentive service! Food was tasty and drinks were amazing.
The restaurant itself was also beautiful.
Exactly what we were looking for in terms of fine Peruvian dining. Will definitely be coming in my back!
What a great place with amazing delish food and drinks! My highlights were carne appetiser and el Tigre ceviche along with verde Pisco drink (skinny). We had a reservation for the dining room originally, but the bar was so vibrant, so we sat at the bar instead. I will come back for sure, especially during their happy hour for drinks which runs everyday.
Excellent food and service! Most interesting and delicious meal I have had in a while! Thank you PyN!
Our server Vladimir was awesome! Great kid. And of course, the food and drinks delicious as usual.
Great food and great service. We loved the causa sampler and the arroz con mariscos!
Good Peruvian food, ceviche is excellent, also causa de pollo. Aji de gallina and papas a la huancaina not bad, but not best I've had. Only real problem is the noise level, even outside it is very loud, would have enjoyed it more if music were turned down a bit.
I went with my father to Pisco and Nazca because it was Peruvian Election Day. I understand the restaurant was full so I know the service took longer and the noise levels were high. However, there were many severs but they took 15-20 minutes to serve us each time. As a Peruvian, I know my own cuisine. The tradicional ceviche was okay but the fish was warm and lacked spice. The long wait time might have warmed the dish which does not help in flavor. The empanadas were fried which is not typical for Peruvian empanadas, but the meat filling was divine. The causa samplers needed more lime juice and spice in the potato. The fillings were okay with the pollo causa being the best. My dad ordered the pescado al macho and it was all right. He said the chef burned the aji Amarillo during the preparation so the sauce had a burned taste and dark look. The sauce was too liquid as well but the fish was good. I ordered the salmon andino and it was bland. The salmon was too bland and the sauce was not the best. The quinoa salad needs a different dressing. It was sweet and sour executed wrong. I didn’t enjoy the fish. Lasting, the drinks were delicious and the fried yucas were great. I understand the full house meant some dishes were unavailable and others might have been served poorly because of the wait but let your servers now. Sadly, I did not order any desserts because I was disappointed. I hope the service and food improve because the ambiance is nice and the servers were attentive.
The server was very positive and helpful. But we felt things had dropped off quite a bit since pre pandemic. Hopefully will improve again.
AC was not working
They went out of their way and brought my brother a special birthday dessert even though we didn’t order one!
The food was delicious and the service from the servers, bartender and hostess were excellent. It does definitely represent Peruvian culture. We were visiting D.C and we happened to find this restaurant and we had dining two days in row. I want to give Special thanks for the two servers: Alex and Carlo they were very friendly. Alex was an excellent bartender and he recommended good drinks.
Came in a few minutes late for a 5 PM reservation and the staff was very accommodating. We were very impressed with their Happy Hour (4-7 PM), especially the discounted cocktails. Our waitress, Maria, the rest of the staff, and our meals were all excellent! Definitely will be returning.
Great food and atmosphere
The best happy hour in DC!!!! Love this place soooo much!❤️ Rachel & Mira
It was such a nice evening, from our service to the food everything was top notch. I will certainly be coming back!
Es un poco caro, pero es rico! El lomo saltado es muy bueno y el ceviche también! En bebidas, el pisco sour de maracuyá fue mi favorito!
La atención 100 puntos!
Food and drinks were top notch, place was nearly full...nice to see things getting back to normal
The restaurant was recommended by a local, and it did not disappoint! The food was so delicious and the environment is beautiful! Highly recommend!!
Loved everything! Save room for dessert and split the suspiro- it’s so rich but oh so delicious!
Everything was amazing! Alex was very kind and helpful. Best experience in DC!
Wonderful service, food, and ambiance. The wait staff and manager were extremely helpful and friendly, both in general and in regards to suggesting foods for dietary restrictions. Cannot recommend enough - well worth it!
so glad to be back. Whatever I order it is so delicious. Never nervous about ordering new dishes. Yum!! and what a great value!!!!
The night started out really good but as the meal went on, we saw the server less and less and less. We ended up waiting a while for him to come over for us to ask for the check. I am happy you all are getting busy and the servers are making money and we were patient but it was over 10-12 mins to track him down. When he did come over, he was attentive and personable and kind and very nice.
Very good food and friendly staff. A friend introduced me to Pisco and I had to introduce it right away to another friend, who hadn't been there. My friend enjoyed everything as well.
This place is overly hyped sadly. Loved the music and overall ambience though. Our server was super sweet but the food...such a disappointment. As a Peruvian I had high expectations for the classic plates. The traditional ceviche.. flavorless. The lomo saltado.. way too salty. The anticuchos de corazón were just ok. The only good thing we had were the pisco sours and the tostones.
From beginning to end, if I could give it 10 stars I would. Made a reservation to celebrate my husband’s officer graduation AND 30th birthday and let me just say, this was one of the best nights we’ve had in a while.
My husband’s and my idea of fun is to go out to eat delicious food. The food here was again from start to finish, amazing. And the drinks... woo!
But our server, Maria. Mi paisana colombiana! She was attentive, suggestive, provided plenty of information without being pushy, and I loved the mix of the silent service with her attention to detail and making sure that my husband was taken care of and not to mention, surprised! Gracias de nuevo, Maria!
Thank you to your whole team for an amazing night. From food, to service, to ambiance and music. Just perfect.
Best ceviche in the area
Delicious food and great service! Cocktails were spot on too
Get the tuna ceviche!!!
