Another spectacular meal here. The food inspired by head chef Lopez constantly amazes my palette. Even more commendable is the service. The warmth and friendliness with which the staff showered our party with really made our evening. Bravo, Pisco y Nazca!
Absolutely great meal with the best waiter!
I reserved a regular table for two people and after waiting for over 10 minutes was given a high table in the bar area. This is unacceptable.
Exceptionally helpful and friendly service, and well-prepared and interesting food, with lots of choices
As a Peruvian I say it was great Peruvian food!
Fun brunch alternative with 3 course prix fixe and bottomless sangria add on! Service was a bit slow but overall good atmosphere and tasty Peruvian bites!
Highly recommend. Our waiter, Manny, was excellent at helping us decide what to order and he was spot on! Our food was delicious as were our bar drinks! The service was excellent and we were served our meals quickly. Can't wait to go back next time in DC.
Our family enjoyed the ceviche and unique brunch items, as well as the excellent service.
Pisco y Nazca is a great every day dining destination. Whether it is for lunch, happy hour or dinner you will be pleased. Highly recommend the Pisco sour, rose sour and also the sangria options are sure to impress. For anyone working near L street, I recommend making a reservation since the large restaurant can still be pretty busy even on a holiday weekend. For food, be sure to try the Peruvian corn, the dip for the Papas fritas and emanadas is heavenly. Check out their sangria and be sure to ask for specials. Great indoor but also a large outdoor patio weather permitting.
Although I am vegetarian, the chef created 2 dishes that were exciting and very tasty. My ceviche friends were blown away with the variety and quality of the sea food. Nice server, very efficient and good timing.
I would recommend anyone this place for occasions such as a date.
Outstanding service by our attendant Jennifer. Food was tasty. We did try the ceviche, passion fruit version, and it was excellent. Ambiance was good during the lunch hour. They have a prefix menu as well. Over all a good experience.
Ambience was great. Service could have been much better. One member of our party was vegetarian, and the options were very limited. We waited a very long time for our entree and figured out later that they must have cooked her dish from scratch. The rest of us had a chicken salad, which was tasty though a little too salty.
I ended up going to Pisco y Nazca at the last minute while visiting DC for business. The food is very good, and the menu has a broad variety of staples and twists on other recipes that I have seen at Peruvian restaurants in the Bay Area. The service was great. Raul took excellent care of us with the rest of the team. Highly highly recommend this restaurant!
The food and service are always fantastic. Love this place.
My first time and loved their food and service.
Amazing service and more than delicious food!
Super yummy On my way! Excellent cocktails. Nice outdoor seating too. Amazing staff and cute place.
I’ve visited Peru several times, so I’m a bit spoiled. The food was good by US standards, but fell short of my expectations. Service is attentive. Very loud due to many people. Not great for conversation.
The food was amazing and were able to take advantage of the hora loca (4-7pm) with half price wine. The service was impeccable.
Excellent food and service
Was amazing menu and food, terrific service, and they had half price bottles of good wine as a special. Great restaurant all around.
Fantastic place, service and food. Look forward to coming back again!
If you want to eat good, drink good, have the BEST people wait on you then do yourself a favor and head here for brunch. I’ve fallen out of the brunch scene lately as many of them are overcrowded, service isn’t as good and most are just worried about turnover rate, but not here. First off ALL THE DRINKS ARE PERFECT, the passion fruit mimosa...WOW! The brunch price fixe is a lot of food and a bang for your buck. Andres was our server and he went above and beyond when we were being eaten by mosquitos and offered us bug spray. Their was never a moment we didn’t have a drink filled at the table, he was very attentive and patient as well as it was our first time here. Elmer helped us out as well and again, above and beyond he asked if we wanted to move as soon as he saw the sun striking our table. The chef came out personally to ask how we were liking the food and even added some alfajores to take home! BTW EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! we had chicken and waffles, empanadas, tostones, French toast, etc. We came out here for my cousins birthday (group of 6). Pisco y Nazca thank you for remembering the roots of hospitality and making it feel like it was all our birthdays!
We were actually 20 minutes late for our reservation due to traffic and they held our table for us. Service and food were amazing!
Pisco y Nazca never disappoints!
The food is excellent and the service friendly and amiable. Be prepared to wait at the very crowded bar even if you have a reservation.
The noise level is quite high so conversation is difficult
Great restaurant option in the heart of the City with a very pleasant environment.
Friendly front desk, lovely waiter and bus staff. I thought the prix fix lunch was a great deal, and the "upcharge" for more premium terms was very clever. Also, the cookies at the end were packaged so they could be taken away.
We had plenty of time to chat, and the service was super professional and unobtrusive. Forks were replaced instantly, and water filled whenever needed.
Could not have had a more pleasant lunch.
Great menu selections. Lots of variety. We'll prepared and presented. Lunch specials a good deal
Best Peruvian restaurant in DC. Love coming here every time I’m in town. Love the food and ambiance.
The drinks are incredibly well balanced and I cannot say enough positive things about the ceviche. I have been raving about it for days. 10 out of 10 will be going back.
The food and the service are outstanding. One of the guests in our party has a gluten allergy for which the chef came and talk to us. We were extremely satisfied with our experience.
Good food. Not particularly my usual taste, but ok. I got the prix five. The middle course with rice and chicken had no seasoning, so I wasn't too happy. The empanadas were very good though, especially with the sauce. It was a LOT of food as well, overall decently valued given the somewhat high price
Food and service was fantastic.
Exceedingly and annoyingly loud. Unable to hear the server nor converse across table. Food and service excellent.
Excellent! From service to food! Our waiter was very friendly and the food and drinks delicious!
