Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar - Doral Ratings and Reviews
The experience was superb!!! I would recommend this great restaurant to anyone that likes Peruvian food. It's not like your typical small restaurant. As soon as you walk in you feel the great environment. This was our first time (made a reservation on open table) and we were celebrating my mother's birthday. Jose, the waiter was very patient and really helpful on explaining us the whole menu. He gave my mother a birthday card with a small glass of Peruvian sauce. We ordered purple sky ( 100% recommended if you don't like too much alcohol in your drinks). Service was excellent. Food we ordered was fast, less than 10 mins. Ceviche was great and lomo saltado uhhh tasty!!! We really enjoyed our food and the general manager was walking around talking kindly with everyone and giving thanks for being there. We are definitely coming back for more! 👌👍
A must to go place for amazing food and wonderful ambience. I highly recommend sharing tapas “small plates” with friends to enjoy more of a variety of different foods. Order one or two at a time to keep the food experience going while being able to enjoy each food individually.
The crew were able to accommodate 30 guests when I had only reserved 20! They even allowed a mariachi to come and play. The waiter Jose did an amazing job and the food was varied and of good quality with good prices to match. Great place for ceviche and drinks.
FANTASTICO! the best of tasty Peruvian food elevated to new age gourmet standards First time visiting a friend in Doral and while looking for Latin food found this spot in the middle of a fun nighttime area. The traditional Ceviche had the best fried calamari I've had with the big choclo while the beef lomo saltado was so good I wanted to lick the plate ! We'll definitely find future reasons to go back such as the creative cocktails , aji de gallo dishes with that yummy yellow sauce, etc. The bar and décor is interesting and this time of year its great to dine outside also.
The restaurant was really cozy, it was different from the options around the area and the food was really well done. The selection of drinks and food was authentic and the service really makes a difference in the overall experience. Management is really engaging and welcoming.
I have been here 4 times and the service has always been the same. Very very slow! Although the ambiance is nice neither the food or service is great!
This time around we went to the bar while waiting for our table and were there for over 1/2 hour without getting any drinks or help from anyone. We proceeded to sit down and ordered our drinks and appetizers. This also took over half hour to receive!
You need to work on your waiters/bartenders as you are definitely not prepared to help any size groups within a reasonable amount of time!
I was like a month ago with friends and the ceviche was perfect macerated small pieces of fish and other dishes were good.We ordered like 7 different dishes all of them good.Desserts needs to be improved.
But this time I was there with my fianceé and my kids and the ceviche was a raw big pieces of fish. Not enough macerated.Serviced by Mariana she was very nice and attentive, she deserves a 5 star.Food preparation change in every visit.
I hope next time I will be advised that is not more right done ceviche available and I will order another dish with confidence.
Upon arriving the first impression was of a modern fun place. The menu looked interesting. The pisco sour was good. I would not call it "peruvian food" rather "peruvian inspired food". The olive oil flavor on the huancainas bravas overpowered the sauces. The Tuna Tataki causa was good but the gouda tequeños did not cut it for me. The fish chicharron was on the salty side. They missed the accompaniment (chaufa blanco) and when they did bring it it was lukewarm. It took to long to get the check and pay. It was a so-so experience
I made an OpenTable reservation for this location, for brunch for our 6-yr anniversary. Getting a reservation was very easy; my preferred time slot of 11am was available.
This was our first time here and it did not disappoint! Our waitress, Darleen, was fantastic - very attentive and nice. I ate from the Miami Spice menu, and my husband ate from the standard brunch menu. The 'small plates' were not small.. and the large plates were truly quite large. We happily took home a lot of leftovers to enjoy the next day.
We ordered the ceviche sampler to share.. the passion fruit was good but sweet, the traditional was good, but the cremoso was delicious.. definitely my favorite.
My husband ate the Lomo Saltado. The meat was delicious, and the fries were perfect as well.
The Miami Spice brunch menu here is fantastic.. it's the same as their regular brunch tasting menu, just a couple dollars less. 4 categories of options, pick 3 from any of the categories.. so if you don't have a sweet tooth, you're not forced into desert. With our waitresses help of suggestions, I selected the causa crocante (three nice sized pieces), the empanadas de aji gallina (2 full size empanadas), and the chaufa de mariscos (large bowl). I didn't care for the flavor of the empanadas actually, but they were different and my husband liked them. The causas were great, and so was the chaufa... these 3 dishes alone would have been enough for my husband and I to share and be full.. so be prepared to take home a doggy bag!
At brunch they have a wonderful unlimited beverages option for select drinks, with a 2.5 hour maximum time frame. I chose the white Sangria which was very good.. i'll be back to try the other options also.
Love the specialty drinks!
Having had the tequenos before at the Kendall location I can say they are consistently good-try the spicy sauce over the sweet one any day. Having had the ceviche tradicional before, I was seduced to have the large portion and was disappointed with the quality of the fish, a bit tough and cut too big. My friend had the salmon served over quinoa and she found it a bit dry however tasty.
We shared the specialty of the house dessert which was yummy with a lovely presentation
