Great space for after-work, friends, family from out of town, date night or just rolling solo.
A+ experience. We were there early. The restaurant is gorgeous, the staff were excellent, and the food was top notch.
What a great find!.... food is so delicious. service is great, super helpful in selecting great picks on the menu. Tapas can be real fun if the food is great... and it was!
Great food and atmosphere!
We made birthday reservations for 7:30 but wasn’t sat until 8o clock. But the MOD (maybe) took us to their sister bar for a free round of drinks. When we finally got to the table, there was no introduction about the restaurant. And no clear to who was going to be our server. We ordered a lot of different food, WHICH WAS ALL AMAZING! Throughout the night we noticed how the employees were running around crazy! (Under staffed) the drinks were delicious as well. Sadly I had to ask for a birthday dessert with the candle in front of the birthday girl because we hasn’t been talked to in 20 minutes. After another round of drinks, coffee and then dessert we waited another 45+ for the bill, we had get up and ask the bartender for it because our server was not around for a long time. Then he made us a free round of shots (we didn’t want). And then there were a couple extra chargers on our bill.
We will be coming back because of the atmosphere and amazing food. They need more support staff.!
Everything was perfect! The food is fantastic!!!
We had a fantastic time celebrating my son's birthday on Saturday night. Loved both the food and the ambience, and the service was delightful. We'll be back.
I love the new location on 4th Ave. The food is very interesting. Fun uses of spices. Vegetarian paella was fantastic!
This was my second time at Pintxo. The food as always superb and the wait staff are very engaging and courteous. We received a dish on the house!
so disappointing. We'd been years ago in their old location and the food was both innovative and delicious. Lots of space in the new place, but who needs it? The food was boring from beginning to end. Patatas bravas was just some deep fried potatoes with a dollop of aioli and harissa(or the like),stingy amount of sauce for the potatoes. Empanadas were on a sauce which didn't match the filling. You couldn't taste the sauce as the filling was a stronger flavor. Ordered 1/2 a carafe of sangria, and then another 1/2 carafe. Charged for 2 halves rather than a whole, fair enough, but not very neighborly. The marinated sardines were dull, and the bread alongside was stale. It took us awhile to flag down our server to ask for some lemon and fresh bread. She accommodated us, which was nice, and the lemon made the sardines passable. Prices are somewhat incomprehensible. Why are fried shishito peppers about the same price as foie gras toast (around $11)? Best dish was the olives. I can stay home and have those.
Our experience was amazing! Morgan took such good care of us and our kiddos. The foie toast and fideo were among our favorites! We will be back next time we visit Seattle.
Visiting from Alaska and remembered how much I enjoyed this restaurant four years ago. So we went and it was actually better than the last time! I loved the beet salad and the shrimp small plate was truly out of this world. And the price was not what I expected - way lower!
We love this place! The food is outstanding and the new location is so big it’s much easier to get a reservation now.
Well executed Spanish Tapas with a focus on traditional dishes made well. Paella is good for 2 and we split it with 4 among other dishes. Octopus was outstanding. Server was absolutely lovely. Calms had incredible flavor. Excellent Happy Hour until 7 pm with several choices.
Could use more veggies and salad options.
Amazing dinner made up of shared small plates. Octopus was amazing!!! The service was excellent and we had a great table for 12. I will definitely be back!
Quick service, delicious sharables, very good but not outstanding paella, small but great wine menu
Great tapas bar with good food in Belltown / Downtown area. Great for a family-style meal, to try several dishes.
Fantastic food, prepared and presented exquisitely
Great wine list at every price point!
Really enjoyed the dining experience! My fiancee and I were going to watch a show right after at 8pm and after we sat down at 6:20 and ordered, everything came out very fast and we had plenty of time to spare. Our favorites for our first time there were the clams with chorizo and the grilled octopus. Will definitely go back to try the paella.
If you are looking for traditional pinxtos (i.e., Basque fare) this is not the restaurant you will find it.
We have been to Basque country on many occasions and we were happy to see a Pintxos Restaurant in this area but were disappointed. First of all, Basque Country DOES NOT serve Paella (which this restaurant had on the menu). Secondly, they are calling in "tapas" on their website. Basque country DOES NOT serve tapas. Rather they have pinxtos, which is not the same, at all. Pintxos are small pieces of bread topped with various vegetable, meat, and fish combinations. Their menu had morcilla sausage (which we love but this was terrible), empanada (again love empanada; these were sub par), patatas bravas (all not part of Basque cuisine).
We did order the paella with squid ink to see what it would be like (we've also travelled to many parts of Spain and have had the most amazing paella) - it was ok but not something I would return for.
We would not recommend this place to friends who want traditional Basque Pintxos.
Why not call your restaurant Tapas instead? Since that is what you serve??
I have dined at Pintxo several times and never been disappointed. Always order grilled octopus; this time thoroughly enjoyed the 3-beet salad special. And the dark chocolate torte did not let me down. Wait service is excellent . Cozy even when the house is full.
Food was not very good. Paella was really salty.
We enjoyed a special Valentine's Day meal. We shared the Lamb Chops, Canelones del Mar, Oysters, and Gambas Pil Pil. The Canelones took Gold, and the Gambas Pil Pil and Lamb Chops were tied for silver. The oysters were good, but as I am the only one of us that eats them, it's biased. The wait staff was excellent.
Delicious, with engaging and attentive waitstaff.
The building is pretty, particularly the glass center.
The portions were small for the price and weren't particularly authentic from a Spanish Tapas perspective.
Compared to other places I have been, the food itself was disappointing. The service wasn't bad but wasn't great and it wasn't particularly busy. The bacon wrapped dates were decent but the cheese/meat was small in portion size as was the bread that was provided to go with it. It certainly didn't have an authentic spanish feel with its dishes. .
We love this place! Awesome food and service. Great value.
Wonderful dinner, great service! We had dinner before seeing the ballet and it was perfect!
The food was delicious! Creative and beautifully presented. Loved the cocktails, too. Especially the Gin & Tonic offerings.
Was really really good quality food. My friend from Spain approved of it saying it is exactly how it is! No gimmicks no unnecessary fake wannabe spanish decor or music. Just plain great spanish tapas. Must go!
Excellent tapas and wine although we didn't explore the menu too much. Second time at their new location and they seem to be doing well. The new space is great.
i really like pinxto and their food and drinks are fantastic. we had a great time. Everything was fantastic service & food-wise, but we had trouble hearing each other during dinner due to the echoey front area -- when I come back again, I'm going to request seating in one of the side areas -- it seemed to be very location dependent.
The new space is not as intimate but makes it a lot easier to get in!
Great food, great service & cool vibe
Food was good, i really loved some and was unimpressed by other orders. Drinks were good but not amazing.
Server was unfriendly.
Charged per person to plate a cake that the server did not actually serve or cut.
Would not split the bill even though i understand (because I’ve served tables for many years) that it’s really very easy to separate things off of a large Check. Gratuity will even transfer nowadays which was the old reason to avoid the separate Check dilemma.
We were looking forward to visiting at the new location and it did not disappoint! Looking forward to future visits. We love trying all the small plates.
Nye dinner with a group was very enjoyable. Sangria was great and some dishes were very good. Some dishes were pretty average. Service was good!
Celebrated New Year’s Eve dinner at Pintxo with out of town relatives. We enjoyed the creative meals and ambiance. We thought the background music was a little loud.
My dear friend and me had a lovely New Years Eve dinner. Fabulous food and experience.
Friendly and flavorful!
Enjoyed the empanadas, fresh oysters and the smokey goodness of the paella. Wait staff warm and helpful. Definitely going back.
Pintxo had great atmosphere, but the food was not good. Our menu suggested a mignonette would accompany our oysters, but there was no hint of acid on the plate. Steak skewers are risky: the meat has to melt in your mouth since it has nowhere to hide; Pintxo's did not. Our Iberico-broth braised octopus had a deep ham flavor but far too much salt, even considering the pickled shallot accompaniment. The tortilla espanola was cold, which is acceptable, but given the preparation should have been warm, and what the crostini added to the dish is still a mystery. Most glaring was the squid ink paella. The shrimp tossed on top was completely untreated, while the remainder of the dish was so salty we had to send it back. And when patrons send back the most expensive dish on the menu, don't charge them for it. I'd recommend that the chef recalibrate his or her seasoning palate so that salt doesn't overwhelm the other flavors of the food and the meal has more balance.
