Pinstripes - Bethesda

Varied menu and HUGE portions.
Service was lackluster and we didn’t get to bowl despite reservations. Would not return.
On a recent Sunday evening it seemed that service was greatly improved. Management was visible and happy to fill in any gaps as needed. Staff was attentive and the kitchen was on top of orders. Food, as always, was awesome.
Excellent meal - met Manager Aaron who was very nice. Great lunch
It was my bffs birthday!!! We had an awesome time. She had never been before and just loved it! We will be back.
The girl in front was neither helpful nor friendly but the server was so it was serviceable for the decent food. But nothing to rave about.
The venue is exceptional -beautifully designed and very clean. I love the bowling/restaurant idea. The food was pretty good. I ordered the calamari, mac and cheese, and the rib dish -the ribs were somewhat dry however, the mac and cheese was delicious. The bowling experience was by far the best I have ever had!!!!!!!!!
The most disappointing element of my visit was the staff. Those I encountered seemed to lack enthusiasm, energy, and were definitely not engaging. I asked about booking event space, the gentleman with whom I spoke was to return with the Event Planner's business card, I did not see him again. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would return, despite the lackluster staff.
Had a very fun time with a group from work.
The service was awful and with a toddler in tow it made it worse. Very understaffed, orders came out incorrect. Very disappointed
Excellent service. Great wine collection. My friend visiting from London, UK was thoroughly impressed
Awesome! Had a great meal and great service
Very noisy place because it seems to attract a lot of large groups at lunch. Previous time was quiet and I enjoyed the flatbread. Salads looked good. Pizza was fine, nothing special. Several servers asked us how the food was but one assumed it was good, and it took a while to give our order when we weren't ready right away.
Could barely find the chicken in the chicken Cobb salad. A few small cubes of chicken. Tasteless and expensive.
Always enjoy the visits to Pinstripes. The food is always excellent, service is always excellent, the whole family enjoyed it.
First time visiting this restaurant. Great appetizers/starters. Good ambiance. Easy, convenient parking. A great spot for a Friday after work meetup with friends.
Very good food with reasonable prices and bowling to boot. Highly recommend Pinstripes!
Good food but waited too long
We celebrated our son’s promotion at pinstripes, it was our first time there and it met our expectations. The appetizers were excellent, the main entree was decent and desserts were delish. Will be coming back.
The rooftop patio is a wonderful retreat. good food.
My family of four went to Pinstripes for a late Mother’s Day. We first bowled for an hour. The bowling area is beautiful with big windows, sofas, eating areas. The lanes are a bit tight between groups. It was full and we were glad we had bowling reservations . We did order drinks and the tenderloins sliders. The sliders were delicious and the staff efficient, friendly. I was surprised at the number of kids birthdays thinking this would draw more adults. Everyone seemed to be having fun. After bowling we went for our dinner reservations. The restaurant was not crowded. I was annoyed by unsupervised tweens that crawled on the booths and talked loud on phones. We had a corner booth with views of the area. The wait staff was great. The food was delicious but not remarkable. We had chicken parm, jambalaya, truffle fries and Bolognese We will go again because we had a fun time.
Overall, I was impressed with Pinstripes. I went for lunch with some very picky ladies who all remarked that they liked the ambiance. I started with stuffed mushrooms, which were very tasty. I also had the baby back ribs and they were okay. The description included balsamic barbecue sauce, but there was very little. The ribs had a rub, but I’m a sauce girl. Also, they were cooked a little well-done for my liking, but others at the table thought they were good. The mac and cheese seemed like just mac with a little parmesan sprinkled on top, so I had to send it back and get the fries which were very good. Everyone else at the table really enjoyed their food (spaghetti and meatballs, a burger and a chopped salad with shrimp). The bread pudding was excellent! I’ll definitely go back.
They could not find the reservation. Food was decent. The waiter ended up disappearing a lot later in the evening
Amazing menu, great location at the Pike & Rose. Very polite, efficient, and friendly staff.
Great place for business lunch, ample parking, and killer lunch salads. Staff were very attentive.
Outstanding service and attention to customer and your experience
Overall, a very good experience. The food is fine and the portions are generous. Deserts can be improved, both in terms of quality and variety. Nice place for groups.
Great service and delicious meal. The chopped salad was wonderfully fresh!
Great brunch...something for everyone. It’s buffet style but everything is hot and delicious. The waffles are to die for.
The ambiance and food were very good but the service was horrible, given the price.
Went there for Sunday brunch, today and it was totally delicious. My husband and I loved everything. We will definitely be back for to try the dinner menu, soon.
Waiter Marcelo ignored us for almost 10 mins after we were seated. I had to finally get his attention and place our drink orders. We have dined many times before and always received prompt, courteous, A+ service which made his lackluster service so obvious even to my kids .
I really like Pinstripes, and my latest visit was no exception. Delicious food, attentive service and a nice atmosphere all combine to make a very pleasant dining experience.
We went for Sunday brunch. We weren't sure what to expect because it is part of a bowling and bocce venue. But the restaurant is separated from the bowling venue and the bocce courts were not noticeable from the dining area. There was a nice variety of items. Very good were the flatbread pizzas, the chocolate chip cookies, the carved meats, the biscuits. The sausage gravy was too thin. The meatballs were good and there was pasta available. But the tomato sauce could have been thicker and tastier. My wife's omelet was fine. The service was very attentive with servers stopping by several times to check on us. The bagels were fresh and the lox tasty. An enjoyable brunch.
Prices were more expensive than the Georgetown location for the same brunch buffet, not too happy about that
Having gone here for a wedding reception and being excited about the fare during that event, I was expecting equal if not more than was received. Perhaps this day it was me, but I don't believe so.
Let me start by stating the appetizers chosen were wonderful and plentiful (Spinach and Artichoke dip; Hummus and Avocado Platter). We were a group of 4 females, and the two choices were filling. Adding a bowl of soup would have been a "nice 'nough" for lunch, except the soup for this day was Chicken and Dumplings. When I think chicken and dumplings, there is a flavorful and hearty broth ... this was tasteless and very thin, the large sections of chicken were tough. It likens itself to chicken veggie soup w/tiny pancakes for dumplings. A second rating gauge would be my 95 year old mom, who absolutely LOVES soup, pushing hers aside with an unpleasant look on her face.
My second disappointing option was a menu-noted "absolutely delicious" Signature Cobb Salad. Yes, there are many elements comprising this selection (tomato, gorgonzola, dates, corn, olive, burrata, fettuccini, white balsamic), but that is not the concern. The salad greens/lettuce was extremely bitter which overpowered the other ingredients. Extra balsamic dressing (delicious!) balanced this somewhat, but I could not finish as it did not satisfy.
Dessert selection was Pinstripes' version of a banana split. It was beautifully presented in a waffle shell, but what was expected would be continuity of intermingled flavors including banana in every spoonful. This was not that.
Our server was very attentive and accommodating, which is always a plus in my book.
These were poor choices on my part. Others in our group absolutely enjoyed their selections (Pear Salad, Fettuccini Bolognese, so do not rate this establishment with a "strike." I shall return w/another review.
The food, location, staff, and the amazing server, Andrew made the best of Sunday funday. I am truly a fan of Pinstripes Sunday Brunch. I look forward to going back. This was a great place to spend time with my great friends!
Very poor service
Appetizers with no cutlery
Dinner brought out in drive and drabs
Drink refills never happened
Overall for a slow Sunday night very disappointed with service
Open Table messed us up big time. Pinstripes had a private party that day so when we showed up at our reserved time, there was nothing available and we were turned away. The restaurant did call us that morning but unfortunately, we were not home to take the call. Open Table should not have accepted our reservation.
First, I am disappointed that my OpenTable points (100) were not acknowledged for my reservation. The overall experience was very unpleasant with very poor service — the entire time we were there, there was not a single waiter that came to our table. The presentation & selection of food were both unappetizing & very poor quality for the amount (expensive) you pay for the buffet. This place is strictly a family restaurant where children drown any type of adult conversation & people don’t care that much about the food they get. I would not recommend this place.
