   We went on Monday which to our happy surprise was 1/2 price oyster and wine night. The oysters were outstanding. Cold and fresh. I had the halibut, pricey but fresh and soooo delicious!

   Food was just okay and bit lukewarm. Drinks were on point while service was adequate. They assess lame CC transaction fee as well…why not just up your menu prices slightly. Likely would explore other dining options In Wilmington before returning here.

    Pinpoint was everything expected. Flavors blended beautifully, food was cooked to perfection, the service was exceptional. It was our first time visiting Pinpoint and they provided us with a special experience. Get a reservation!

    Our server was excellent except he split our bill three ways when we only asked for a bottle of wine to be split Two of us enjoyed our food very much However the oysters were very small The pimento cheese was excellent I’d go back for 1/2 wine and apps for sure

    Absolutely delicious and creative menu selections presented tableside with chef coming to table to describe the nuances of the farm to table plates. Very creative cocktail menu as well. Service top notch from start to finish. Having said that, deeply OBJECT to the 4% imposed surcharge for use of a credit card that is immediately posted to the bill without server requesting if we were paying by Cash vs CC. Fortunately, we became aware by checking out the menu in advance as well as reading a few comments from others here about the policy and we were prepared with cash, but had to request server remove from the bill which was promptly corrected. YES the policy is displayed in SMALL print on the very bottom of the menu about the cash policy, which many guests would miss in the darkened ambiance of a busy table. Amazing that the establishment did require a CC to secure a reservation so guess they have their bases covered. Suggest owners in the interest of full disclosure publish this policy UP FRONT on their reservation page when requesting CC as well as update their profile in Open Table in the area of which CC accepted. Instead suggest owners drop this policy entirely as for UPSCALE restaurants such as this it should be factored into their meal pricing and presume the overhead cost of mostly CC customers as the "cost of doing business" - which is what most owners do - never have seen this nonsense in ILM before, or other upscales like this one elsewhere. BETTER YET, give the policy a "positive spin" that is, cash customers will receive an "incentive" i.e. a free dessert/per person, or a discount on the bill percentage equivalent to the CC surcharge. And also be aware that customers TODAY DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE WALKING ABOUT A DOWNTOWN AREA with wads of cash in their pockets and while needing to use a parking garage. As local residents and not tourists, while we loved this establishment and its concept, we will not plan to return due this current policy.

    Went for the Scallops and Lobster, unfortunately they ran out. Grouper was a good second choice. Pork chop was delicious as well….the star however was the lemon garlic hummus and the bar staff. We’ll definitely be back.

    This was our first time and our server was wonderful. My husband had the grouper and I the NY strip steak was done to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the homemade dessert. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere. We would return.

    This was hands down one of the best meals I have ever had. My wife and I came here for our wedding anniversary, and I will not forget it. They had a note on the table wishing us a happy anniversary. Their executive chef, Cam, made the best grouper dish I've ever had. The flavor/texture was phenomenal, and I felt bad cutting into it because of how artistic it was presented. Then the desserts were ridiculous. He combined flavors that I would have never thought to combine. I'm just mad I've lived here ten years and this was the first time I went. Will absolutely be returning.

    Great experience- the yellowtail carpaccio was outstanding. Raw oysters a bit on the small side but tasty. And the grouper and magi entrees were both excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

    I requested a quiet table when I made the reservation, and they honored the request with a totally private table by the window. Perfect! We started with the hummus appetizer; then my husband got the NY strip steak and I got the mahi. The presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and the taste was out of this world. Possibly the best meal we’ve ever had. Additionally, the hostess and waitress were both very friendly and attentive. We can’t wait to go back!

    Service was warm and friendly, atmosphere inviting and food and choices, top notch. My husband had steak and I went vegetarian. Both of us very pleased, and they hand wrote a note with "happy birthday" on it. I appreciated that more as I prefer to skip dessert!
