There's nothing I despise more than getting catfished by over-priced, bland food. My expectations were appropriate; I wasn't expecting a Michelin star experience. However, everything from the cocktails to the entrees were bland. If you want to spend $350 on amazing service with inedible food, this is the place for you.

This was my first visit to PinPoint and I was not disappointed. It all started with my reservation. There were six of us and I requested a round table so we could all talk to each other. Many time's I feel that my special requests are ignored - not this time! We were seated in the middle of the restaurant at a round table and the hostess acknowledged my request. Then our server (Devon) was on point with waters, drink orders and was very knowledgeable about the menu and the food offerings, in addition to being friendly and making us feel at home and important. The food was excellent and came out hot. We were all served together which seems to be a lost art in the restaurant business these days. I highly recommend PinPoint.

It took over an hour to get our food and it was an early dinner, so not that many people were there. Snapper was expensive and a very average tasting, small piece of fish. Raw oysters were delicious but required no cooking :) drinks came quickly. Don’t go there hungry, or in need of getting out in a timely fashion. Our server Mike was fantastic though. Because it took so long to get our food, he took the drinks and appetizer off of the bill.

Food was great. Had the clam and pasta special. Staff attentive. Other than a really loud over-served red head sitting by us it was great. Fortunately the meal was pretty much over when she started her show.

We’ve been to PinPoint many times but this round was a little off. The clientele seemed to be very different from what we were used to. People at the bar in gym clothes clearly drunk smoking a vape in the restaurant. Definitely not what I expected considering times past and the price for the experience there. The food and waitress were incredible as usual just thought the bar scene seemed very unlike PinPoint standards.

This is our favorite restaurant in Wilmington. The food is always out-of-this-world amazing, the service is great, and we love the window seat. It’s pricey, but worth every penny. We’ll be back soon.

This has been our “go to” restaurant for years now. Usually special events or date night. Nate is phenomenal and his service both behind the bar and in general is one of the reasons we come back. The other is the food. Locally sourced and fresh and prepared with the skill and creativity of the young but extremely talented Executive Chef, Cameron Garvey, you will not be disappointed by whatever you order there - either food or drink.

This was a great spot for me and my love to enjoy our anniversary dinner! The waiter was on top of everything ! The drinks were GREAT! Not too strong but they definitely gave you your moneys worth. The food was OMG! GREAT! I highly recommend anyone in the area to try out this dinner spot.

Overall - we enjoyed our meal but there were a few things worth mentioning. All the prices on the menu are "cash prices", so if you choose to pay with credit/debit they add a surcharge to your bill. I have never seen any restaurant do this before... We shared the Hogfish (was very good), baked oysters (was not good at all, do not recommend), and the butternut squash soup (was good). Prices are overpriced, there is no getting around that. If you can afford it, it is a good meal but would recommend spending that money elsewhere.

We had a delicious meal last night at Pinpoint. We weren’t that hungry so we only had drinks and appetizers - which was perfect. The steak tartare was great, the peppers and burrata was great and my husband loved the oysters. The drinks we’re also very good. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Lovely menu rotating with what's fresh. We love the farm-to-table ethos and could really tell that everything down to the cocktail sauce is made in-house. Would go again. Nice special occasion place.

The service was outstanding. Mike was a pro. Easy and confident The steak was over cooked, no pink at all, and for 46 dollars, it should have been. Staff, excellent. I will come again.

Very expensive for portion size. Fish was over cooked. Needed salt and none on tables. Food very slow to come out. Steak was served cut into slices? Why would you slice a steak and let all the juice out????

Outstanding service, great atmosphere (although very loud which complimented style) ,food was delicious as well as the cocktails. Our only complaint was that the vegan dish which was a half of a corn on cob, 2 okra’s, a little corn and maybe 1/4 cup of kale was so expensive. We didn’t get meat for paid for meat.

The food was delicious and service great. My only negatives were that it was extremely noisy and the tables are so close together that I could hear everything the table on either side was saying. It was pricy - 2 entrees and 1 cup of coffee totaled $87 before tip.

PinPoint was a huge disappointment. Everything felt confused - the tables were squeezed together but the walkway was unnecessarily wide. The paintings on the wall were at odds with each other and I could not tell if I was in a pub or in a nice restaurant. Service was not good - our server at the bar looked panicked and weeded and kept audibly sighing even with just two tickets. We did not enjoy the beer mignonette. The cheese platter came with only six quarter-sized crackers. And then we got charged for paying with a credit card instead of cash. It is 2023 - I would maybe bake that into your prices. I will not return, and will let friends know to steer clear.

Delicious anniversary dinner. We went on a Monday and took full advantage of half price oysters and bottles of wine. The raw oysters were amazing (highly recommend the sea hogs… we ended up getting a second order). We also had the grouper, pork chop, and the coconut lime cheesecake….all well prepared, so balanced and flavorful. Definitely recommend and will be back
