Great place but felt rushed. Had soup and salad before finished cocktail.
Great food, beautiful view of Aspen Mountain. One of our favorite places to eat in Aspen.
Always a wonderful experience. Thank you.
Great wine list with a very knowledgeable sommelier. Ambiance is like an old western steakhouse. The bison tenderloin and rack of lamb were great.
Excellent experience and food.
I understood that Pinon was famous for their dover sole which is flown in from England daily (weather permitting), so I had to try it. It was worth the $68 price tag and lived up to its reputation. The sides, however, were just ok. The rice and green beans were both a bit under cooked and they paled in comparison to the sole as did my husband's pasta which lacked flavor. But, the Pinon experience overall was lovely and I will surely go back next time we're in Aspen.
Acoustics were the only negative. Best food in Aspen!
Fabulous food but insanely loud and very tight quarters. Waiter actually hit me in the head with a dish he was trying to serve to the next table. Despite that, service was above average considering how packed it was.
Fabulous food, superb service. Couldn’t hardly decide what to choose on the menu- it all looked so good.
I had the opportunity to return with my wife to Pinon’s after an amazing business dinner.
We had an extraordinary experience. The service, food and ambiance were outstanding! Very cool space, well laid out.
Perfect as usual! Food and service was impeccable!
Only in Aspen would a place like this be able to charge what they do.
Superb! Been several times in big groups and small. Consistent in every way. Best Veal chop on the planet
Very good experience but very expensive
All was grwat
Excellent service. Old Fashioned Cobbler to die for!
Food was amazing, every time we always eat here. The only challenge was our waitress told us she could sit bill between us 3 couples then when the bill came she said it was too difficult with the system you have. A little frustrating but that was the only issue we had
Too overpriced and lacks service
Food was good . Service good . Pity all restaurants in aspen have similar desert menus
Packed with locals and repeat customers!
The food was amazing! We tried the duck quesadillas, sashimi tacos, and the buffalo tenderloin (unfortunately we were too full for dessert) and we were very pleased with our meal. Well worth the price!
Not a good menu
Place was amazing. Absolutely wonderful experience.
Pinons is one of the best restaurants in Aspen. The service is impeccable and the food is top notch. We started with a burrata salad and our family of four tried different entrees - buffalo tenderloin, veal chop, ahi tuna, and the tofu enchilada. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and we finished the evening with two desserts and some dessert wine. All in all - Pinons did not disappoint.
Service very slow today despite not being fully booked.
Amazing food and service as always. Highly recommend.
Great service and food!
Spen new years eve and dinner was great!! 5 Course menú all perfec
Made reservations for 10 people during a trip to Aspen over Christmas. New Year’s Eve was only night that was available. So made reservations for 4 adults and 6 children. All children are used to eating nice restaurants and eating off an adult menu. Open table, however, failed to mention that this would be a price fixe menu for the evening nor did Pinon’s during any confirmations. We were shocked when being seated that it was and that kids wouldn’t have a choice of meals either. Not that they are not used to filets and lobster if they so choose but every course was pre-determined and no choices. No price was listed on the price fixe menu given to each of us either. Here is where we went wrong... Thinking it would be good for the kids just to have to be adventurous and at least try everything they would be served. The food was good I have to say. The kids even enjoyed the majority of it. We were just shocked when we got our bill..... $5500.00 for 10 people. Ye,s we should have asked after realizing it was price fixed but I also feel like we should have been informed ahead of time that it would be (a set menu and the price per person). Adults had a total of 7 drinks between the 4 of us. None of which were anything extravagant. The food was good. Like I said it was our fault as well for not asking price once being seated and advised that we would not be ordering off regular menu but I promise you it was not worth $5500..... But then again I’m not sure any meal would be worth that to me. We frequent high-end restaurants but not like this and food was not any better than other restaurants that we would have expected to pay maybe $1200 to $1700 for a table of 10 people and only 4 adults having a couple of drinks. So food is good. But unless you are okay with $550 per person make sure it’s not a price fixed menu for the night before going.
The Freddie's salad has been a favorite for decades - and the smoked trout is so fresh and amazing.
Very disappointed in food. Strange service. Waitress from first minute kept asking if we were ready to order
The pan seared buffalo tenderloin was IMPECCABLE. Truly one of the best meals I have had in a long time. My husband had the lamb, and it too was melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Highly recommend! We celebrated our one year anniversary in Aspen, and Pinon’s was the icing on the ski retreat cake!
Excellent in all areas, parking is always an issue. Parked 4 blocks away & we were early diners!
Birthday which they forgot.
Fabulous Food and Service! It is as good as it gets
I've loved Pinots for 24 years and it NEVER disappoints!!
Consistently good!!! Good value for a good meal! Highly recommend Pinions❗️
Sounds a bit overly simplistic, but this place basically serves old white people food! Ridiculously heavy and under seasoned. I can think of no reason to ever visit again...abundantly disappointing! And for the record...I am quickly approaching “old white person” status.
Service was good, the food not so much...we’ve been going for years and this trip the food quality was very disappointing, hope it gets better, can’t imagine Aspen without good food at Pinon’s!
Any restaurant can have a service issue due to unanticipated events. We understand that. Our oysters and salads arrived promptly. After another 20-30 minutes our waiter advised us that our entrees would arrive in a moment. After another 20-30 minutes we asked our waiter to have the manager come to the table. He did not. We asked other waiters who passed by to do the same . Still no manager. One of us then went to see the manager, and advised of delay in food. He informed her of unanticipated personal issue with chef.. The meal arrived 1 1/2 hrs after we were seated. At our insistence the meal was not charged. I ask to see the manager maybe 1 of 100 restaurant visits. Never has a manager refuse to come to the table—until now. Meals were very good but manager and waiter service were unacceptable.
