Great dinner on the patio with friends. Service was prompt and courteous. The food OUTSTANDING!
We love going to Pinnacle Grill and we always make it our visit stop during visits to Scottsdale! Judging by the number of patrons at this restaurant on a Monday evening, we are not alone with our sentiments!
Loved the menu, price point and location. Really nice spot in a really nice spot - not overly expensive. Food portions were generous even on happy hour.
We ate out on the patio. There were several tables for two available but we were seated next to the rail and the sun shone in my face the entire time. A couple of waiters tried to move an umbrella to fix the problem but it didn’t help. I finally had to move my chair to the side. Just wondering why they would seat us there instead of in the shade. No one sat at another table for two the whole time we were there. Food was great as was the service, as usual, though.
Husband and I love trying new restaurants and Pinnacle’s food, service was amazing. Sitting on the patio with the Mt ranges in view topped off a wonderful experience.
Food is OK. Too crowded and slow service.
Always a great meal and the wait staff is exceptionally courteous.
They have the best burgers
WE look forward to returning to the Pinnacle Grille, but this time we were disappointed because upon our arrival, after making an Open Table reservation an hour before arrival, we found the restaurant closed due to a power outage in the area. So, we've heard great things and we'll go back soon, but can't really write a great recommendation at this point.
Two people out of our party of four ordered shrimp scampi. The plates came out with pasta only. It took approximately 30 minutes and 3 reminders to the waiter before they got the shrimp. Cold pasta and cold shrimp. Yuk!
Sat on the patio. We were one of the first diners of the evening. As they got busier service declined a bit. The food was exceptional. We would definitely go back.
Gone very much down hill with food quality!
Food was great, the servers were very personable!!!
As always great food and good service. We enjoy the atmosphere
We sincerely appreciate the Pinnacle Grill!! Well taken care of by the wait staff and Asher!! We enjoyed are main dishes the Shrimp and Risotto and the Scallops and Risotto. Absolutely phenomenal. We will be back!!!
Our 3rd time at the Pinnacle Grille. The food is good and the variety of menu choices is always a plus. Two negatives however. First and foremost is that the service needs great improvement. We waited 15 minutes for our reserved table because the staff at the front desk were busy on the phone taking orders for takeout. Once seated, my wife had to remind our waitress that she had ordered a beverage. Our one guest never received all the condiments she ordered for her burger. After two futile requests, she gave up and ate her burger without the condiments. Finally, the tables on the outdoor patio are too close together which allows adjacent tables to hear other diners' conversations.
We have dined here many times. Always enjoying our meal, atmosphere. Our server Jordan was very good. Our hummus appetizer was tasty? The veggies and pita were old and had zero taste. Tomatoes were mealy, the carrots and celery dry. I split a medallion of beef with my friend and it was inedible. Orders MR came well done and tough. Could not even cut it, potatoes cold, rice and veggies not fresh. My husband ordered a blue burger MR and it came medium at best. Jordan apologizes profusely. It certainly wasn’t his fault. Meal was removed from bill and we received another discount. Truly not about the money as much as Lao very surprised. We found out there are new Chef’s and cooks. We will try again, hopefully the kitchen will get it together.
On arrival were told we didn’t have a reservation, but were seated any way. Got home and open table email said we failed show for our reservation—baloney! Noisy, busy, waiter ignored us.
The patio seating was nice.
Great location and delicious burgers and fries!
Everything we have ordered here has been delicious!! We enjoy dining here every time we are in town!
I would change out the patio chairs. Otherwise, everything was great!
Very enjoyable evening! Had outdoor seating which enhanced the atmosphere.
Great as usual!
The waitresses/waiters are often crazed but the waitstaff/bus boys are so awesome. They are totally in tune with anticipating someone's needs.
The outdoor dining is ideal, and it is fun that people can bring their dogs. I just wish the dog owner would be aware that the space is tight and maybe if their dog is aggressive around other dogs, maybe this isn't he best place to go with their furry friend.
We ended with a table that did not have a server .
We had to wait 50 min to order and then 15 more to get our drinks.
The fish and chips were worse than a kids’ frozen fish dinner.
All and all it was a terrible experience.
Even asked for a manager who never came over.
The sever that we eventually got tried to make up for the delay which we appreciated but the whole evening was ruined.
Had a party of three for dinner - got patio seating on a Monday evening. Quite crowded on the patio and at times a bit tight for waiters to get around. Perhaps they put in too many tables. That idea ties out with the service. Waiter did arrive in good time and we ordered dinner and one glass of wine. The food arrived in reasonable time but the table hadn’t been set with silverware or napkins. We thought that would come with the food but not. Tried to flag a busy waiter but couldn’t, I finally got up and went inside the restaurant and found napkin wrapped silverware for our table. The glass of wine did not arrive with the food! And in fact it never did arrive! I flagged our waiter as we were finishing with dinner and let him know about the wine and to remove it from the bill - his ans - “Oh they didn’t bring the wine”. I think management is enjoying the crowds but are letting the service and attention to detail go by the wayside.
This was our first time to this restaurant and we don't know why we waited so long. It is a definite gem in the area. The outdoor patio is very large and we were able to sit with our 2 dogs and enjoy a beautiful nite, great view of the mountain and mostly very good food. There are so many things I want to try on the menu that I know we will be back often.
We had high expectations as we had a great brunch there 2 years ago.
We were a party 8 for dinner. We dined outdoors which was a nice setting. We were laughing because out husbands chairs were so low that the tabletop was at their armpits. The other table looked over and said they were given one chair like that too. The waitstaff just ignored it. The dinner menu had a big variety to select from which was nice. The burgers the kids ordered looked good. The ribs were good, the pasta was meh, my salmon was supposed to be one of the popular choices. It was really disappointing. Also, they made substitutions without telling me. They did make up for it but it wasn’t very welcoming. Our waitress just seemed like she wanted to get through the evening and be done. I bet it, everyone has their occasional “off” night but at least try and fake it one or 2 times while your waiting on the group.
One last thing, we were a party of 8
The menu has a wide variety to choose from to satisfy everyone’s meal desires. Food and pricing were good. Kids and adults enjoyed the hamburgers.
Pretty outside. Dana great. Everyone was happy.
Horrible food and service. We have always had great food, good service pre-Covid. Not this time!
Horribly slow service, not attentive whatsoever.
We are so happy with our neighborhood gem, Pinnacle Grille! They are staying safe and clean while providing good food, friendly service and a place to call our own hangout!
Got there a little early and was told it would be a few minutes. After 30 minutes asked again and was told we would be seated when the table was ready. 15 minutes later, we left to get something to eat.
Our entrees came out shortly after our salads. Way too soon.
Nice to sit out on the patio for salads and wine and enjoyable weather!
Great food and atmosphere, we go there all the time they are great!
