Pink Salt is awesome, great flavors, service and quality. Highly recommend!
The special Ahi app was wonderful, as always the black cod is the best!
Too pricey for lunch. Our family of 4 (kids 12 and 9) went for an impromptu lunch on someone's recommendation. We had calamares (nice, although the crispy coating completely fell off making it difficult to eat as intended), Lomo Saltado, Arroz con Mariscos, Chaufa de Chicharron and Aji de Gallina. Although the dishes were tasty, I found them a little too fatty / oily and over-priced for what you got. I admit that I don't have any frame of reference for Peruvian food. With 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 sodas, and 2 desserts, it cost over $200. I would have been happy to pay $120 total, but the quality didn't seem to justify the price tag and there wasn't much finesse to the food. I think maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but unfortunately I'm not inspired to try again.
The food was delicious! I had their Pisco Sour as my drink. My boyfriend and I shared Ceviche Nikkei that was good. I had the Pesto Risotto with Steak. and my boyfriend had Aji de Gallina. When he got his dish, it came out cold at first, but they were happy to make a new one for him. Overall, though, it was a very delicious dinner. I would come back and try more things on their menu. I recommend it!
The food is authentic and the decor and ambiance is amazing!
All four of us were beyond happy with our meals and drinks - very well prepared and tasty. Service was not rushed and the space itself is very inviting and comfortable.
Wonderful food and drinks.
My second time here. Food was very good, my only issue was that the fish I ordered happened to be a rather bony cut. I tried a pisco negroni cocktail. It had a rather bitter aftertaste, so from now on I’ll stick with their delicious traditional pisco sour that I tried on my first visit. Desserts were great, service a little slower this time but still quite good.
Very good Peruvian food!! Try the tiradito teriyaki
Love the subtle sauces and flavor combinations especially the grilled octopus and the risotto dishes.
One of the best restaurants in Seattle! Very welcome addition to Magnolia
The pisco sours were delicious (and super cute with the llamas drawn with the bitters). The food had great flavor!
Had a lovely evening. Greeted and seated right away. Beautiful setting and ambience! Drinks were excellent, server was great, friendly. I recommend Pisco Tropical, perfect summer drink, refreshing, very tasty. Also Rye Manhattan with Amaro was wonderful, so heart warming and bold. Food was all right. Ceviche- flavor was good, marinade was delicious, zingy, very nice, but fish was chopped in large pieces, was a bit odd to eat. Yukka rellena appetizer was ok, the sauce was more delicious than the fritters themselves. Pulled chicken special Aji de Gallina was ok, lacked flavor, chicken felt very dry, was kinda one dimensional, flat, wouldnt order it again. Black Cod entree was interesting. Cod had excellent flavor. Really enjoyed each bite! Although the fish fillet was served skin down on risotto, meaning instead of expected crispy skin you get very soggy skin, soaked in risotto. It would look and taste sooo much better with proper sear and skin served up to retain the crisp. Again, it is only my humble opinion.
best peruvian restaurant in the area
Absolutely amazing drinks, meal and atmosphere!!!!
Very good. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive.
We had only apps. Two were deep-fried, a bit greasy.
The food was great, wonderful service. The restaurant was busy but tables spaced out and it felt safe to eat inside... But there is a nice outdoor area with heat lamps. The evening was lovely for celebrating a birthday!
Ceviche is a favorite and was as delicious as ever. Pesto Risotto was to die for. The tenderloin which was served on top was over-cooked (we ordered medium rare).
I love Pink Salt, and always eat outside on their lovely patio. Unfortunately, there was live music playing and it was too loud. I watched other diners lean across the table and cup their ears trying to hear each other. We ended up eating inside which was "ok." I was disappointed that we had to be inside on a lovely evening.
The whole problem would have been solved if the music had been MUCH quieter.
Except for the music, there were only minor flaws. I'll be back.
Amazing food. Chef came over to talk to us
We ate outside, which was wonderful till the food came on. Then the bees, etc. wanted to share all the bounty. Don't know what you can do about that. I've been to this restaurant (when it was Szmania's) well over a hundred times. Now I've been to Pink Salt three or four times. The prices seem to be going up, although that doesn't bother me too much. The food was very tasty. The one thing that stunned me was the overwhelming music playing inside the restaurant. I've never before experienced that at Szmania's/Pink Salt. That's one reason we ate outside. When cooler weather comes, I don't want to dine at Pink Salt if the music is playing so loudly that I can't hear my dining partners talk. Was that just a fluke?
Wow! A lovely patio setting for my friend ‘s birthday. Great food! Risotto under the black cod was our favorite. Inventive cocktail selection. I love pisco sour and was able to choose from a few riffs on the theme. Had the flaming llama cocktail which was deliciously and a stunning pink. Whole decor is a stunning shade of accented pink. Drive to Magnolia! Worth it!
Amazing food! Really delicious actual peruvian corn, yummy drinks, really flavorful sauces, and the first time I've actually liked a risotto!! Will definitely be going back
Dylan our waiter was attentive but didn't hover. He helped answer questions about the cocktail and food menus. Cocktails were refreshing, dinner was very tasty and the portions generous. We sat outside enjoyed a mild evening and local noise/life. Very enjoyable evening.
We loved our dinner. My mother in law really enjoyed all the dishes. She felt like the dishes really reflected well on classic Peruvian foods and flavors. The grilled octopus was amazing as was the ceviche and the seafood fried rice.
was happy to have a great meal, great location, great service at reasonable pricing, The menu had unique variety of mains and wine list met our needs. will go again
This was a fantastic meal. Such great flavors and fresh ingredients. And amazing service from everyone. They even brought out a bowl of water for the dog who was with us. Definitely going back! And Soon!
Thi was a outstanding experience. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, vsrt fresh ingredients and unique dishes found no where else. Despite being challenged by staffing shortages, loke so many restaurants, Mateo, did a superb job of d making gorgeous cocktails and delivering the food with a smile. Seriously just go.
That dinner was soooooo good. We had four people at the table and ate everything family style - whipped potatoes with crab, cerviche, lamb shank, two risottos, one with steak and one with blackened cod, and fettuccine with red pepper sauce. The cocktails at the start were cold and delicious, the crumbling melt in your mouth cookies at the end we perfect book ends for that meal. Including a bottle of red and the tip whole thing was just over $300 - pricey for every day but we’ll be going back when we want to splurge!
A wide variety of choices, and everything we tried was quite delicious. Try the Pisco Sour!
Really great Peruvian food- lots of options for every taste preference. Outdoor patio was great. Service a little slow but that’s to be expected in these pandemic times and we were enjoying ourselves anyway!
Great for special occasions and everyday dining. Loved the food and atmosphere! Very knowledgeable staff too.
It’s always a treat to dine al fresco on Pink Salt’s patio! The food is outstanding, the ambiance is lovely and the service couldn’t be better. Our waiter even brought us a special, off menu hors d’oeuvre to try that was lovely!
Everything about Pink Salt is excellent. The food, the service, the space, and the ambiance.
Delicious food all around. Hard to pick a favorite.
Everything we tried was yummy. The pisco spurs were just right as well!
Wonderful dinner outside with inspired food.
We loved everything we tasted. The vibe was very pleasant and the servers were knowledgeable, fun, and professional. Loved everything we ate; highly recommend ceviche clásico, causa de cangrejo, and a pisco sour.
Absolutely delicious! They even made us Peruvian drinks that are not on the menu on request.
