Beautiful decor and ambiance. Food was reasonably priced for the neighborhood.
We shared the lamb shank and it was amazing!!! The rock fish ceviche was the bomb!! And the official Peruvian cocktail was TASTY!!! Love this place.
Delicious peruvian food, will definitely be coming back.
We came on a Friday evening with high expectations but were underwhelmed. We ordered 2 appetizers, one was the crab causa and the other the stuffed yucca balls. We wished we'd have known the causa would be served cold as we had a hard time getting over that. The yucca was good and all sauces were amazing. Our main dishes were the cod over mushroom risotto and the chicken pasta. We could smell the fishiness of the cod before it arrived to our table and was not flaky at all - a sure sign it wasn't fresh. The risotto was fine. The pasta was also fine, but the chicken was overcooked and tough. The flavors were great! We really enjoyed the ambiance and the cocktails, and will give it another shot down the road.
We enjoyed a delicious and interesting lunch. It was quiet enough to hear our conversation. We will return to try different dishes.
Every time I’ve been here has been wonderful. I’ve been here three times so far, the staff is extremely nice, the food is perfect, and the design of the restaurant is very appealing and well thought out. Wonderful place to visit.
We loved every dish we had! Can’t wait to go back!
We decided to try out Pink Salt during Restaurant Week. We loved the live music and the ambience. The first course was surprisingly unremarkable. We all enjoyed the main course - fresh ingredients and great flavors. We had the coconut flan for dessert - I'd return for that!
We came in for Seattle Restaurant Week. Food was amazing, definitely different but pleasantly surprising ☺️. My only feedback would be the coconut flan was a little too sweet and the passion fruit flan was a little too overpowering with sourness. But everyone was super nice and the ambiance was great too. There was a band when we came which was nice but it was a little too loud and it was hard to hear or talk sometimes.
First time here for lunch for Restaurant week. Chicken and pasta was fabulous as were the deserts. I will be back even though it is the opposite side of town from where I live.
It was restaurant week so maybe that explains it.
Desert came before main course
Wrong entre came and we just took it so e could all have dishes together
Though we expected smaller portions Entrees were tiny I suspect the fish entree was 2 oz of fish
The meals were excellent. There four of us at my son's birthday celebration, and everyone ordered something different.
The servers were procative in meeting our needs. all in all, I would both recommend your restaurant to others and hope to return soon for another interesting and tasty meal.
Excellent tasting food. Will definitely come back. I drove 26 miles to get here and it was worth the drive.
Restaurant week brought me here. The location is in downtown magnolia: a quint and comfortable downtown area surrounded by a few other shops and nearby parks and neighborhoods. The interior of the restaurant is so well done: colors, layout, all of it. Props to the interior designer.
I order a Pisco Sour, which was delicious. The less than stellar part of my experience was the food. I ordered the Quinoa portobello burger with a salad vs fries. My first plate delivered was a regular cheeseburger, which the server took back to the kitchen to remake one I mentioned the error. When the portobello quinoa burger arrived it left much to be desired: just a patty with sauce on a bun (no veggies, cheese, etc). The side salad was modest: spring greens, tomato, cucumber and a yummy dressing. The burger plating was incorrect according to the menu description (just the patty, sauce, and a bun…). I brought this to the attention of the server who agreed that the burger was missing a few items. He graciously offered to take off half the price of my burger based on all the mistakes. The restaurant was rather quite, so it was unfortunate there was such a lack of attention to detail. I would return in the future, in hopes that the small kinks described are improved.
Delicious food and drinks. Can recommend the ceviche and octopus appetizers, and the pasta and risotto entrees were amazing. Service was prompt but not overbearing. Will definitely return!
As good as ever - our 4th meal there now. Most professional
Tried the restaurant week menu, pasta was good, but why go to a Peruvian place to eat pasta. The portobello quinoa burger and sandwich de lomo were not good. Perhaps the regular menu is better.
Went to Pink Salt for Seattle Restaurant Week. So glad I did. My lunch was excellent as was that of my friend. My beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked. A little messy to eat, but, my, did it taste good! The passionfruit flan was a terrific way to end the meal. Kudos to Pink Salt. I'll be back!
Drinks and food were phenomenal. The vibe provides an excellent date setting.
Super expensive place for average food. And they charge lot more than what their online menu shows. Website as well as order page prices less than what they charge. Only plus is the ambiance!
Food was tremendous. We had the ocopa to start, then the ciopinno and the chaufa chicharron. Portions were huge and everything was cooked to perfection. Excellent cocktails. Would not hesitate to go back.
Everything was great except the music (live) was too loud. Would have been better if the band had unplugged, did not need to amplify. Nice music, though.
My first time dining at Pink Salt didn't disappoint. I previously had only done take out a few times during the pandemic and was familiar with their delicious drinks (love love love the Botanical Fizz) and fantastic food filled with flavor and panache. Dining there was not only comfortable, the service was impeccable and food even better! And ordering additional drinks was a little too easy...
Cocktails were well executed and delicious. Every dish was well prepared, plated beautifully, and the flavors were excellent.
I loved the addition of the live music event during the dinner hour! And, they have added a few new items to the menu which I thought was a good idea.
Solterito salad was out of this world! Utterly fresh and piquant.
The BEST grilled octopus ever. Their house made pasta with grilled chicken was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. There was a large party nearby so noise was higher than I like but not too bad. We did not need to raise our voices to talk. I want to go back and try everything on the menu over time of course.
The fried rice with chicharone made me a better person.
One of My absolute favorite restaurants in Seattle! I have been sampling the whole menu over the last year and pretty much every dish is stellar. Took someone who'd lived in Peru and she got all her traditional favorites and said they were excellent. EAT HERE!!
Amazing eating experience, with authentic Peruvian food infused by new American innovations
Best Lomo Saltado in Washington! The pisco was perfect.
Wonderful hospitality and food! The owners were so welcoming. The decor was charming as well. Looking forward to coming back already.
Pink Salt is awesome, great flavors, service and quality. Highly recommend!
The special Ahi app was wonderful, as always the black cod is the best!
Too pricey for lunch. Our family of 4 (kids 12 and 9) went for an impromptu lunch on someone's recommendation. We had calamares (nice, although the crispy coating completely fell off making it difficult to eat as intended), Lomo Saltado, Arroz con Mariscos, Chaufa de Chicharron and Aji de Gallina. Although the dishes were tasty, I found them a little too fatty / oily and over-priced for what you got. I admit that I don't have any frame of reference for Peruvian food. With 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 sodas, and 2 desserts, it cost over $200. I would have been happy to pay $120 total, but the quality didn't seem to justify the price tag and there wasn't much finesse to the food. I think maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but unfortunately I'm not inspired to try again.
The food was delicious! I had their Pisco Sour as my drink. My boyfriend and I shared Ceviche Nikkei that was good. I had the Pesto Risotto with Steak. and my boyfriend had Aji de Gallina. When he got his dish, it came out cold at first, but they were happy to make a new one for him. Overall, though, it was a very delicious dinner. I would come back and try more things on their menu. I recommend it!
The food is authentic and the decor and ambiance is amazing!
All four of us were beyond happy with our meals and drinks - very well prepared and tasty. Service was not rushed and the space itself is very inviting and comfortable.
Wonderful food and drinks.
