   My family and I really enjoyed our experience at Pink Salt. My husband loved the Oxtail stew, my daughter really enjoyed the Jumbo Gumbo (and it was definitely jumbo!), it was enough for lunch the next day too! My son had the Goat Curry and ate every bit and I had the Jerk Chicken which definitely lived up to it's spicy name. The Collard greens dip with Tostones was delicious and loved by all. We also tried the Salted Caramel Cake and the Carrot Cake and we couldn't pick a favorite because they were both so good Noel was a great server, very informative and efficient. One of the best waitresses we have ever had All in all it was a very nice evening. Thank you Chef Robinson for the delicious food choices.

   This was my 1st time out to Pick Salt and everything was excellent, from the chef, waitress to the bartender. I loved the restaurant. I definitely will be back!!

   Nice place, table was wobbly, guests of other tables were loud and obnoxious, disrespectful to others dining which definitely turned off my guest as it was their first experience. Food was great, wait time for food was lengthy, however food didn't seem to be especially hot when it came out .

   Food was very good. Service was average. I was disappointed in the 18% "Auto-Gratuity" for a table of five without any notification other than a line-item on the check. I would look at other restaurants in the area, as this borders on deception. The "Auto-Gratuity" marred what would have been a very pleasant experience.

    First visit to Pink Salt. I had the curry goat & my husband had the oxtail stew. We totally enjoyed our meals! The seasoning in the curry goat had my tastebuds dancing! Looking forward to our next visit.

    We can LOVE Pink Salt. The food is always hot, fresh, and flavorful. The staff and the atmosphere is amazing. The drinks are fantastic as well ! Best server, hands down is Katie !

    Pink Salt Chicken Wings were large and spicy. Peel and eat shrimp were very good. Goat and Salmon were main entrees and were both excellent. Same for Salted Caramel Cake. Cannot think of a better Caribbean dining experience I had. Look forward to next visit.

    Everything was great, but the table that is close to the restroom I feel needs to be removed… I didn’t like being seated by the restroom because the back and forth walking of others going to the restroom.. the food was excellent though! me and my parents enjoyed our dishes. Also, the server had great customer service! I believe her name was Noel. UPDATE I’m a little upset I took a dish home that I didn’t really eat at the restaurant and there were no stone ground grits in my shrimp and grits.. really makes me almost want to retract what I said..

    Fantastic experience from the host at the door, Chef Richard personally delivering our appetizer, complimentary soup, attentive staff and delicious meal. My wife had oxtail stew and I chose the curry shrimp and jasmine rice!

    I’ve been wanting to take my daughter here for a while so her college graduation dinner was what I thought the perfect opportunity as she loves Caribbean food but sadly second guessing my choice. We were seated by an overly loud large group, I understand that could not be avoided but a shame we had to yell to have a conversation for table of 4. The place was not full, on a Thursday night but our waitress seemed to disappear several times. We ordered drinks, after a long time she came back to say they couldn’t find the wine my husband ordered so he switched to a mixed drink. My daughter (the graduate wearing her gown & honors cords) asked if the rum in her drink could be switched to coconut rum, she doesn’t drink often so wanted something milder. The bartender did accommodate but decided to add a dark rum shooter on top making it too strong for her. We had to keep asking what the dark addition was (since it did not have it in the description on menu which is why she chose the drink to begin with) for our waitress to actually go check. When we advised it was too strong for her, she offered to add more juice and my daughter declined stating she would just let her fiancé finish it. The right thing would have been offering to switch it for another drink at no charge since the drink was not as described to begin with! When our food finally came (I know it takes time for good food, willing to wait for & pay for good quality) it was stated “she was JUST informed they were out of rice & peas which two of us ordered and is it okay if they gave us jasmine rice”. That should’ve been informed before the food came, no it was not okay…other options should have been offered. We had to ask what other sides are available? The hostess & a waiter were very friendly but felt like our waitress had a “you get what you get attitude” since she was getting 18% forced gratuity. Our experience was not enjoyable for $200. Where has customer service gone?

    Very good food, drinks and service. There was one minor issue with food that should have been caught before food was plated (reason for 4 versus 5 stars) but our server made it right.

    The outdoor seating should be described as roadside seating. It’s right next to San Marco Blvd with no buffer. No charm as a Paris sidewalk cafe might be—dusty, loud, full sun. I think if you put your arm out a car would hit it. Reservations for this area should not be offered. We sat at the bar instead. It was awkward for a group of 4. The bar tender did a good job of taking care of us. He was sweet. The hostess was not helpful at all. She may not have had other options but there were tables open that remained open for our entire stay

    Food and environment was great as usual but there was a major delay in receiving our food. We waited almost an hour for our entrees and had to receive them in to-go boxes to avoid missing concert. Hopefully this was a one off situation.

    There was a large party 20-25 people that were very loud and had no respect for other customers in the restaurant. Don’t understand why they were not placed in a separate room that was available that had doors that could be closed to control their loud behavior for the rest of the customers. This was probably a one time occurrence but you probably lost your recurring customers because of this. I couldn’t even hear my wife talking 2 feet away from me !! The hostess and waitresses kept apologizing to us because of their behavior and loudness.

    My reservation was at 6:45pm. Got there at 6:35pm and was seated at 6:40pm. We did not eat our dinner until 8:15pm. I understand having big tables or large parties but this was my first time there. Coming back I don’t think that I would. Food was great though.

    Took a friend there for her birthday and it was absolutely perfect. Good drinks , nice atmosphere and food bursting with flavor !! Will definitely be returning as it’s hard to find good food in Jacksonville!! I don’t mind paying but at least let it be worth it so this is my new spot when I want something that can actually match or taste better than my own cooking. I had the Fish of the Day which was LionFish … DELICIOUS

    From the entry point EVERYTHING WAS SUPERB!!! We were seated and attended to QUICKLY. The staff all had smiling faces and warm energy. We went for our anniversary which so happened to be the chef’s birthday!! My hubby is very skeptical of new places. But the FOOD omgggg The food was delectable. Made to order not a BEAT MISSED. Noelle was AWESOME!! We will be back this WEEKEND!!! Because there is NO WAY i am missing a chance to taste the entire menu.

    We enjoyed the food. Very flavorful and interesting. If they made a to go menu then I would probably order to go because 2 1/2 hours for dinner in a restaurant that is moderately busy is not appropriate for this kind of dining.

    The food was simply not good! Appetizer was cold. The jerk chicken was more like a spicy BBQ chicken. The rice and peas was flavorless. Rice was under cooked.
