I loved this restaurant. The food was very fresh & the service was excellent. Definitely coming back.
This was a last minute reservation on Valentine's weekend. We weren't looking for a date spot, just someplace to have dinner with friends. I was totally surprised by this restaurant. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helped us pick out the best paired dishes for sharing. Food was excellent and the drink menu was a hit. Next time we're back in the Chicagoland area, this is a definite consideration.
Beautiful place! Great service!
Some of the best cocktails I have ever had! A hidden gem in Lakeview/Boystown.
Ginseng margarita is dope
The BEST Asian cuisine I have had in a long time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ping Pong. Service was top notch and the quality of the food was Top Notch.
We will be back again for sure !!
The service is amazing and the food is to die for! The drinks are delicious as well. My go to spot for Asian in lake view
Great, as usual. Good food, good times, decent outdoor dining setup
What a great afternoon and evening at Ping Ping! Celebrations for Biden/Harris all around us.
The food, drinks and service here are the best! A truly great night!
Delicious food and drinks and the staff is amazing! Definitely a go-to spot in Lakeview
Love this restaurant. Patio dining on the street, but with barriers with flowers so feels more intimate. The food is superb - particularly the mu shoo pork! Service is outstanding and includes hot damp towel before dining. Also comes with a few rice chips before meal and an icing- coated fortune cookie after. Excellent!
Wonderful food, great service. The only thing -- this restaurant is in an old building, so the noise level is very high on Saturday nights!
I love this place. Amazing service every time! Would recommend to anyone.
Amazing food every single time.
Great food and drink and great portions! Would definitely go again.
Been eyeing this place for a while with my husband. Unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Egg drop soup is amazing ! Cocktails not worth price. He got duck- okay and I got lo mein- SO MUCH OIL I thought I was drinking it. Maybe we ordered the wrong things but most likely will not go back. Best part was the soup and the chocolate covered fortune cookies.
Our server was amazing! Very attentive and made great suggestions. It was my first time dinning there and I don’t plan on it being my last. I loved the chocolate dipped fortune cookie!
The food didn't equal price point as much as I wanted to love this place. The service and atmosphere is cute, but just not great on the entrees.
Delicious food at a reasonable price, lovely ambience and courteous wait staff! Great little neighborhood restaurant . Highly recommend.
It was good
Best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The tuna tartare and dumplings were outrageous. I had the lo mein - the homemade noodles were out of this world. Would wish I lived in Chicago only to eat here often!
Delicious!
The food here is awesome. There were three mishaps during our meal tonight, which was odd - one wrong drink, one wrong noodle dish, and one app that came after the mains - but they fixed everything pretty quickly and the quality of the food just makes up for it. I had an amazing drink also. We got four dishes and two apps between four people with some left over. No complaints on taste or quality!
Food was outstanding. Diverse waitstaff (gender and ethnicity, kudos!). Service was good.
Always delicious! A great place to dine with friends.
Always delicious and a great experience.
Dinner with friends.
Food was great. Brussel sprouts missed salt.
I don't eat rice.i whish they had cauliflower rice as a substitution.
Birthday dinner - delightful!
I used to love this place, but upon learning of their involvement in the Insurrection at the US Capitol on Jan 6 and pro Trump fb posts from the owner, I ask my fellow Chicagoans to boycott any restaurant whose owner would try to subvert our democracy. We have so many great restaurants who need our help at this time. Let’s make sure we help those who care about our country, not those who attempted to overthrow the government. Actions have consequences!
Our server was fast and courteous! Food was amazing.
Great menu and great drink list. Food was meh, compared to all the Asian choices around. Wakamono across the street is one of my favorite sushi places, so i keep wanting Ping Pong to be better than it is. There are several very good items on the menu, so if you know what to order and what to skip, you can make this work. Steamed fish was really salty and not spicy at all, despite having the 'spicy' designation. One dish came with a strip of cellophane in it, so it is unclear how much stuff is simply microwaved rather than made fresh.
Very consistent in their approach. Great food, nice ambiance, friendly staff, good people watching
Very crowded table placement, but good food and attentive service
Great food. Great atmosphere. Love coming here for dinner every time I am in Chicago. Best food ever. Always flavorful and creative. The calamari appetizer saves my life every time
Service was top notch
It was wonderful and we all loved the food and environment. We’ll be back.
A very nice Asian experience!the food is very high quality and the cocktails are superb.
The Pan-Asian cuisine here is the best I've had in the year I've lived in Chicago! Their cocktails are *excellent* - I loved my Mexican Mai Tai. The scallion pancakes were very good, and my eggplant and pork dish was satisfying and the portion was generous. We'll be back!
Ping Pong is fantastic!
Terrific food great service will be back soon
