   Dissapointing! Very slow service and got most of the order wrong (incl wrong bottle of wine). There was a wedding next door and in order to drown out the wedding music, they played music very loud in the restaurant - so loud you struggled to talk to each other. The food was good but the kids meals were a total rip off. £8.00 for a couple of bits of fish and a few chips (and peas that the staff forgot!) Wouldn’t return I’m afraid

   The food was decent, my steak was nice and my partner had the pork belly, which was OK, the skin wasn't very crispy and the portion was fairly small. They didn't have the wine we chose from their menu and we had to wait quiet a while between courses for them to notice and serve our table. It's certainly not horrible here, so if you are staying in the hotel then it would be a decent place to eat, but don't make a special effort to head over here.

   As always a great meal & friendly staff. The only thing that is missing is some atmosphere.

   The Pinewood Hotel is very local & after visiting for the Sunday lunch in January we decided it was so good,we needed to return. For £10 it is the best Sunday roast! Absolutely lovely.

   It was a very enjoyable meal; the staff were very attentive and we would definitely recommend it to friends and others

   Took my husband here for dinner on his birthday on a Wednesday night. For most of the time we were the only customers in the restaurant, which made for a very quiet evening. We shared a scallop starter, which was good but very small for the price. My seabass was well cooked but the accompanying sauce was rather too spicy for my taste. My husband's steak was supposedly an 8oz ribeye but seemed on the small side and not the right shape for this cut. The desserts (chocolate slice and blackberry & almond tart) were good. The service was friendly and helpful but overall rather a disappointing experience.

   Another lovely Sunday lunch at the Pinewood! Never fails to deliver, we both chose the Roast Beef lunch on this occasion, which comes served atop roasted root veg, roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pud, with the richest gravy imaginable. Served with a creamed horseradish sauce and English mustard, it really can't be beaten as a real taste of England! We also enjoyed a sweet, which was yummy but could have been a larger portion size! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
