   Great place! Food was amazing around the entire table. Spaghetti and meatballs, cheese manicotti, lobster bisque soup, scallop and shrimp linguini. You could tell everything was fresh! Interior could stand to be renovated but food was amazing and priced right! We will be back!

   Another return visit to a local favorite. Excellent food but large group made service spotty

   Nice neighborhood Italian place. Good food and generous portions. Very generous pour on the wine! Definitely would recommend & will go back again.

   Excellent. I will take the metro from D.C. To come here. Tremendous food and service and at an affordable price.

   Disappointing at best. I knew when I walked up I was in trouble, the duct tape on the broken window outside said it all. The interior was worn out, worn down 1960's diner-esque but lacking the nostalgic feeling. The service was fine, not fabulous but attentive and quick. The food however was abysmal starting with the garlic bread I ordered while waiting for my husband. They delivered to the table, 3 slices of what appeared to be Texas toast, thick cut white bread. It had been toasted with some garlic and the green shaker cheese sprinkled on top. This distressing bit of culinary hell was followed by more bread being delivered to the table, same white sliced bread sans the garlic/cheese mess. The main course was really the coup de grace! I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which turned out to be what I can only describe as a flattened slab of Michigan's finest steel belted radials, smothered in what was actually a tasty red sauce. My husbands, wise man that he is played it safe with the spaghetti and bolognese sauce that was equally as good as their red sauce. Save yourself the angst and skip the Pines of Florence.

   This restaurant is a find! Reasonable prices, excellent food and good service. The tiramisu was better than in expensive restaurants.

   Amazing fresh pasta! If I lived in the area I would eat here once a week and probably gain 30 pounds. We were in town for two nights, we ate here the first night, and loved it so much we ate here the second night too!

   very good dinner, absolutely get the salad with the home made Italian dressing. food was great. modest price and the wine was well priced as well. decor is modest, but I never tasted a decor. excellent value as well as food. We liked it so much back for lunch the next day. very good soup on a cool day.

   Great food and reasonable price. Took family of 4 and only $100, and that was with tip included. Food was great!

    Best Lasagna I have ever eaten! The pasta was homemade and light and airy.
